Effective electrochemical conversion of CO_(2) to value-added liquid multi-carbon products driven by renewable energy is a promising approach to alleviate excessive CO_(2) emission and achieve large-scale renewable energy ***,the selectivity and catalytic activity towards liquid multi-carbon products of CO_(2) electroreduction reaction are still unsatisfactory due to the sluggish C-C coupling process and the formation of complex oxygen-containing ***,designing and fabricating highly effective electrocatalysts is crucial for practical applications in this ***,we developed Cl-modified Cu catalyst(Cu-Cl)for efficient electrochemical reduction of CO_(2) to *** optimal Faradaic efficiency and partial current density of ethanol on the Cu-Cl sample reached 26.2%and 343.2 mA·cm^(-2) at-0.74 V(*** hydrogen electrode(RHE)),which were 1.66 and 1.76 times higher than those of the catalyst without Cl decoration,outperforming those in most previously reported *** functional theory(DFT)calculations revealed that the Cl-modified Cu surface suppressed the parasitic hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and reduced the energy barrier for the C-C coupling process,making the formation of key intermediates favorable for ethanol ***,the decoration of Cl on the Cu surface facilitated ethanol formation.

Kagome materials are a class of material with a lattice structure composed of corner-sharing triangles that produce various exotic electronic phenomena,such as Dirac fermions,van Hove singularities,and flat ***,most of the known kagome materials have a flat band detached from the Fermi energy,which limits the investigation of the emergent flat band *** this work,by combining soft x-ray angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy(ARPES)and the first-principles calculations,the electronic structure is investigated of a novel kagome metal CeNi_(5) with a clear dispersion along the kz direction and a Fermi level flat band in theΓ–K–M–Γ***,resonant ARPES experimental results indicate that the valence state of Ce ions is close to 4^(+),which is consistent with the transport measurement *** results demonstrate the unique electronic properties of CeNi_(5) as a new kagome metal and provide an ideal platform for exploring the flat band physics and the interactions between different types of flat bands by tuning the valence state of Ce ions.

Styrene-butadiene rubber(SBR)is an indispensable material in modern society,and the necessity for enhanced mechanical properties in SBR persists,particularly to withstand the rigors of challenging environmental *** surmount the limitations of conventional cross-linking modes,mechanical bonds stabilized by host-guest recognition are incorporated as the cross-linking points of SBR to form mechanically interlocked networks(MINs).Compared with covalently cross-linked network,the representative MIN exhibits superior mechanical performance in terms of elongation(1392%)and breaking strength(4.6 MPa),whose toughness has surged by 17 *** of host-guest recognition and subsequent sliding motion provide an effective energy dissipation mechanism,and the release of hidden length is also beneficial to enhance ***,the introduction of the rotaxane cross-links made the network more pliable and possess damping and elastic properties,which can return to initial state with one minute rest *** aspire that this direct introduction method can serve as a blueprint,offering valuable insights for the enhancement of mechanical properties in conventional commercial polymer materials.

Controllable large-scale processing of temperature regulating sheath-core fibers with high-enthalpy for thermal management

Temperature regulating fibers(TRF_(s)) with high enthalpy and high form stability are the key factors for thermal management. However, the enthalpies of most TRFsare not high, and the preparation methods are still at the laboratory scale. It remains a great challenge to use industrial spinning equipment to achieve continuous processing of TRF_(s) with excellent thermal and mechanical properties. Here, polyamide 6(PA6) based TRF_(s) with a sheath-core structure were prepared by bicomponent melt-spinning. The sheath-core TRF(TRF_(sc)) are composed of PA6 as sheath and functional PA6 as core, which are filled with the shape stable phase change materials(ssPCM),dendritic silica@polyethylene glycol(SiO_(2)@PEG). With the aid of the sheath structure, the filling content of SiO_(2)@PEG can reach 30 %, so that the enthalpy of the TRF_(s) can be as high as 21.3 J/g. The ultra-high enthalpy guarantees the temperature regulation ability during the alternating process of cooling and heating. In hot environment, the temperature regulation time is 6.59 min, and the temperature difference is 12.93℃. In addition, the mechanical strength of the prepared TRF_(sc) reaches 2.26 cN/dtex, which can fully meet its application in the field of thermal management textiles and devices to manage the temperature regulation of the human body or precision equipment, etc.

The interface between Au and support has attracted extensive interest because of its unique catalytic ability for hydrogen activation in catalytic hydrogenation/hydrogenolysis ***,we create the Au-CoO-OV interface in the 1.0%Au/Co3O4-Rod-250 catalyst,which could dissociate H2 via the heterolytic way to yield rich hydride species and achieve excellent catalytic performance in the hydrogenolysis of biomass-derived 5-hydroxymethylfurfural(HMF)to 2,5-dimethylfuran(DMF).The XRD and HRTEM analyses show that Au nanoparticles are uniformly dispersed on CoO-OV surface and in situ DRIFTS spectra show the enhancement of heterolytic dissociation of hydrogen(signals of Au-D and O-D vibration)compared with bare CoO(Co3O4-Rod-250).This work provides insights for fabricating highly active Au-support catalysts for catalytic hydrogenation/hydrogenolysis reactions.

Tumor vaccine is a promising strategy for cancer immunotherapy by introducing tumor antigens into the body to activate specific anti-tumor immune *** with the technological breakthroughs in genetic engineering and delivery systems,messenger ribonucleic acid(mRNA)technology has achieved unprecedented development and application over the last few years,especially the emergency use authorizations of two mRNA vaccines during the COVID-19 pandemic,which has saved countless lives and makes the world witness the powerful efficacy of mRNA technology in ***,unlike infectious disease vaccines,which mainly induce humoral immunity,tumor vaccines also need to activate potent cellular immunity to control tumor growth,which creates a higher demand for mRNA delivery to the lymphatic organs and antigen-presenting cells(APCs).Here we review the existing bottlenecks of mRNA tumor vaccines and advanced nano-based strategies to overcome those challenges,as well as future considerations of mRNA tumor vaccines and their delivery systems.

Supramolecular polymer networks(SPNs)are celebrated for their dynamic nature,yet they often exhibit inadequate mechanical *** far,the quest to bolster the mechanical resilience of SPNs while preserving their dynamic character presents a formidable ***,we introduce[2]rotaxane into SPN to serve as another cross-link,which could effectively enhance the mechanical robustness of the polymer network without losing the dynamic *** with SPN,the dually cross-linked network(DPN)demonstrates superior breaking strength,Young’s modulus,puncture force and toughness,underscoring its superior ***,the cyclic tensile tests reveal that the energy dissipation capacity of DPN rivals,and in some cases surpasses,that of SPN,owing to the efficient energy dissipation pathway facilitated by[2]*** addition,benefiting from stable topological structure of[2]rotaxane,DPN exhibits accelerated recovery from deformation,indicating superior elasticity compared to *** strategy elevates the performance of SPNs across multiple metrics,presenting a promising avenue for the development of high-performance dynamic materials.

There is an increasingly urgent need to develop cost-effective electrocatalysts with high catalytic activity and stability as alternatives to the traditional Pt/C in catalysts in water *** this study,microspheres composed of Mo-doped NiCoP nanoneedles supported on nickel foam were prepared to address this *** results show that the nanoneedles provide sufficient active sites for efficient electron transfer;the small-sized effect and the micro-scale roughness enhance the entry of reactants and the release of hydrogen bubbles;the Mo doping effectively improves the electrocatalytic performance of NiCoP in alkaline *** catalyst exhibits low hydrogen evolution overpotentials of 38.5 and 217.5 mV at a current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2) and high current density of 500 mA·cm^(-2),respectively,and only 1.978 V is required to achieve a current density of 1000 mA·cm^(-2) for overall water *** functional theory(DFT)calculations show that the improved hydrogen evolution performance can be explained as a result of the Mo doping,which serves to reduce the interaction between NiCoP and intermediates,optimize the Gibbs free energy of hydrogen adsorption(△G_(*H)),and accelerate the desorption rate of **** study provides a promising solution to the ongoing challenge of designing efficient electrocatalysts for high-current-density hydrogen production.

In this paper, the optimal variational generalized Nash equilibrium(v-GNE) seeking problem in merely monotone games with linearly coupled cost functions is investigated, in which the feasible strategy domain of each agent is coupled through an affine constraint. A distributed algorithm based on the hybrid steepest descent method is first proposed to seek the optimal v-GNE. Then, an accelerated algorithm with relaxation is proposed and analyzed, which has the potential to further improve the convergence speed to the optimal v-GNE. Some sufficient conditions in both algorithms are obtained to ensure the global convergence towards the optimal v-GNE. To illustrate the performance of the algorithms, numerical simulation is conducted based on a networked Nash-Cournot game with bounded market capacities.

Prostate cancer(PCa)is a common malignant tumor with high morbidity and mortality *** prostate cancer stem cell(PCSC)model provides novel insights into the pathogenesis of PCa and its therapeutic ***,the roles and molecular mechanisms of specific genes in mediating fate decisions of PCSCs and carcinogenesis of PCa remain to be *** this study,we have explored the expression,function,and mechanism of AZGP1P2,a pseudogene of AZGP1,in regulating the stemness and apoptosis of PCSCs and treatment resistance of docetaxel in castration-resistant prostate cancer(CRPC).We revealed that AZGP1P2 was downregulated in CRPC cell lines and PCSCs,while it was positively associated with progression-free *** of the AZGP1P2 enhanced the sensitivity of docetaxel treatment in CRPCs via inhibiting their *** pull-down associated with mass spectrometry analysis,co-immunoprecipitation assay,and RNA immunoprecipitation assay demonstrated that AZGP1P2 could bind to UBA1 and RBM15 as a“writer”of methyltransferase to form a ***1,an E1 ubiquitin-activating enzyme,contributed to RBM15 protein degradation via ubiquitination *** RNA immunoprecipitation assay displayed that RBM15 controlled the mRNA decay of TPM1 in m6A ***,a xenograft mouse model and patient-derived organoids showed that the therapeutic effect of docetaxel in CRPC was increased by AZGP1P2 in ***,these results imply that AZGP1P2 mediates the stemness and apoptosis of PCSCs and promotes docetaxel therapeutic effect by suppressing tumor growth and metastasis via UBA1/RBM15-mediated TPM1 mRNA decay in CRPC.
