Tuning interface mechanism of FeCo alloy embedded N,S-codoped carbon substrate for rechargeable Zn-air battery

The interface mechanism between catalyst and carbon substrate has been the focus of *** this paper,the FeCo alloy embedded N,S co-doped carbon substrate bifunctional catalyst(FeCo/S-NC)is obtained by a simple one-step pyrolysis *** experimental results and density functional theory(DFT)calculation show that the formation of FeCo alloy is conducive to promoting electron transfer,and the introduction of S atom can enhance the interaction between FeCo alloy and carbon substrate,thus inhibiting the migration and agglomeration of particles on the surface of carbon *** FeCo/SNC catalysts show outstanding performance for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER).FeCo/S-NC shows a high half-wave potential(E_(1/2)=0.8823 V)for ORR and a low overpotential at 10 mA cm^(-2)(E_(j=10)=299 mV)for *** addition,compared with Pt/C+RuO_(2) assembled Zn-air battery(ZAB),the FeCo/S-NC assembled ZAB exhibits a larger power density(198.8 mW cm^(-2)),a higher specific capacity(786.1 mA h g_(zn)~(-1)),and ultra-stable cycle *** results confirm that the optimized composition and the interfacial interaction between catalyst and carbon substrate synergistically enhance the electrochemical performance.

Magnesium alloy is one of the lightest metal structural *** weight is further reduced through the hollow ***,the hollow structure is easily damaged during *** order to maintain the hollow structure and to transfer the stresses during the high temperature deformation,the sand mandrel is *** this paper,the hollow AZ31 magnesium alloy three-channel joint is studied by hot extrusion *** as one of solid granule medium is used to fill the hollow magnesium *** extrusion temperatures are 230℃ and 300℃,*** process parameters(die angle,temperature,bottom thickness,sidewall thickness,edge-to-middle ratio in bottom,bottom shape)of the hollow magnesium alloy are analyzed based on the results of experiments and the finite element *** results are shown that the formability of the hollow magnesium alloy will be much better when the ratio of sidewall thickness to the bottom thickness is 1:*** when edge-to-middle ratio in bottom is about 1:1.5,a better forming product can be *** best bottom shape in these experiments will be convex based on the forming *** grain will be refined obviously after the *** the microstructures will be shown as *** these lines will be well agreement with the mold in the corner.

On the Factors Influencing the High Stretch-Flangeability of a Low-Density 1180 MPa Fe-Mn-Al-C-Nbδ-QP Steel

Low-densityδ-quenching and partitioning(δ-QP)steels with excellent strength and ductility have been recently ***,there are still rare reports on the formability of δ-QP steels,which are critical for satisfying the manufacture of structural parts during the application in automotive *** the present work,an 1180 MPa Fe–Mn–Al–C–Nbδ-QP steel with a high ductility was adopted for the stretch–flangeability ***δ-QP steel was developed by separated quenching and partitioning processes.A good hole expansion ratio(HER)of 34.9±0.9%was obtained in the quenched steel,but it has been further increased to 52.2%by the tempering *** improved stretch–flangeability was attributed to the enhanced austenite stability and deformation *** the one hand,the stability of austenite was increased by carbon partitioning during tempering,which reduced crack possibility via the suppression of the fresh martensite *** the other hand,the tempering treatment released the internal stress caused by martensitic transformation and reduced the difference in strength among different phases,resulting in an increase in the resistance to crack initiation and propagation.

Risk assessment of coastal flooding disaster by storm surge based on Elevation-Area method and hydrodynamic models:Taking Bohai Bay as an example

The future inundation by storm surge on coastal areas are currently *** increasing global sealevel due to climate change,the coastal flooding by storm surge is more and more frequently,especially in coastal lowland with land ***,the risk assessment of such inundation for these areas is of great significance for the sustainable socio-economic *** this paper,the authors use Elevation-Area method and Regional Ocean Model System(ROMS)model to assess the risk of the inundation of Bohai Bay by storm *** simulation results of Elevation-Area method show that either a 50-year or 100-year storm surge can inundate coastal areas exceeding 8000 km^(2);the numerical simulation results based on hydrodynamics,considering ground friction and duration of the storm surge high water,show that a 50-year or 100-year storm surge can only inundate an area of over 2000 km^(2),which is far less than 8000 km^(2);while,when taking into account the land subsidence and sea level rise,the very inundation range will rapidly increase by 2050 and *** storm surge will greatly impact the coastal area within about 10-30 km of the Bohai Bay,in where almost all major coastal projects are *** prompt response to flood disaster due to storm surge is urgently needed,for which five suggestions have been proposed based on the geological background of Bohai *** study may offer insight into the development of the response and adaptive plans for flooding disasters caused by storm surge.

Mono-functionalized pillar[n]arenes: Syntheses, host–guest properties and applications

Pillar[n]arenes are a novel class of macrocyclic hosts reported by Ogoshi and co-workers in 2008. Because of their rigid pillar structures, interesting host-guest properties and ease of modifications, pillar[n]arenes have been developed rapidly in the field of functional materials and biomedicine. The modifications of pillar[n]arenes at different positions can give them varied characteristics. Functional groups can be introduced into one position of pillar[n]arenes without changing host-guest properties of pillar[n]arenes. A series of pillar[n]arene dimers, trimers, tetramers and metallacycles can be constructed by mono-functionalized pillar[n]arenes. In this review, two synthetic methods of mono-functionalized pillar[n]arenes are summarized and structures containing mono-functionalized pillar[n]arenes are described. Furthermore, the applications of mono-functionalized pillar[n]arenes in different fields (e.g., supramolecular polymers, sensors, molecular machines, catalysis, biological applications and light-harvesting systems) are also introduced. Hopefully, this article will be useful for researchers studying pillar[n]arenes, especially the mono-functionalized pillar[n]arenes.

Simulation study on fluid flow performance of injection stirring composite process in molten iron desulfurization process

The blowing and stirring composite process of molten iron desulfurization process affects the desulfurization efficiency and has obvious advantages in improving steel properties and expanding the scale of converter *** present,the injection position of the injection stirring research is fixed,and the desulfurization efficiency needs to be *** gas–liquid flow behavior of single-scale bubble model and the size and distribution of bubbles in multi-scale bubble model were studied by computational fluid dynamics numerical simulation method for the injection mixing composite process of jet inlet and stirring paddle rotating at the same *** pressure distribution and velocity distribution inside the fluid indicate that the velocity difference between the gas–liquid phases and the turbulence of the liquid are due to the collisions of bubbles,which are due to essential conditions for bubble *** injection air volumes have essential influence on the formation of single *** the injection volume reaches 2.8 m3/h,the turbulent kinetic energy is maximum,the bubble formation is rapid,and the desulfurization efficiency can be *** multi-bubble results show that the bubble diameter is mainly distributed in the range of 2–5 *** higher gas flow rate will increase the number of bubbles in the fluid and promote the bubble refinement process.

The gas–liquid flow behavior of the stirred flow field,the different positions of a single bubble,the initial velocity,the surface tension and the agglomeration of multiple bubbles were studied by CFD numerical *** results show that the pressure distribution and velocity distribution inside the fluid during agitation indicate that the velocity difference between the liquid and the gas phase and the collision between the bubbles caused by the turbulent behavior of the liquid are the important conditions leading to the bubble *** initial bubble positions and initial bubble velocities have important effects on single bubble *** surface tension is an important condition that affects the bubble *** the surface tension coefficient is 0.7,the bubble will be stretched to the smallest degree;when the surface tension coefficient is 0.1,the bubble will be stretched to the largest degree and it will be easily broken into smaller *** multi-bubble results show the states and trajectories of coalescence between *** research results can provide data support for the engineering application of desulfurization process and theoretical guidance for the research of bubble breaking mechanism.

As an improtant cryptographic scheme, signcryption scheme has been widely used in applications since it could provide both of signature and encryption. With the development of the certificateless public key cryptography （CLPKC）, many certificatelss signcryption （CLSC） schemes using bilinear pairing hve been proposed. Comparated other operations, the bilinear pairing operaion is much more compulicated. Therefore, CLSC scheme without bilinear pairing is more suitable for applications. Recently, Jing et al. proposed a CLSC scheme without bilinear pairing and claimed their scheme is secure against two types of adversaries. In this paper, we will show their scheme provide neither unforgeability property nor confidentiality property. To improve security, we also propose a new CLSC scheme without pairing and demonstrate it is provably secure in the random oracle model.

Brass is widely used in machinery,electronic appliances and emerging *** corrosion resistance of laser-induced superhydrophobic surface of brass needs to be *** recent years,bionic surface with slippery coating has attracted much attention because of its excellent corrosion inhibition ***,we first prepared the superhydrophobic surface of brass by nanosecond laser ablation combined with fluoroalkyl silane modification,and then injected silicone oil into the prepared superhydrophobic matrix to obtain a slippery coating *** and EIS tests in 3.5 wt.%NaCl solution showed that the corrosion resistance of the slippery surface was better than that of the superhydrophobic *** study can play a certain role in promoting the development of metal anticorrosive coating and is of great significance in the preparation of slippery surface by laser induction,and provides a convenient and eff ective means for metal anticorrosion in the industrial field.

Influence of ammonium sulfate on YAG nanopowders and Yb：YAG ceramics synthesized by a novel homogeneous co-precipitation method

Homogeneous and dispersed Y3 Al5 O12（yttrium aluminum garnet,YAG） nanopowders were synthesized via a homogeneous co-precipitation method from the mixed solutions of yttrium nitrate,aluminum nitrate and a small amount of ammonium sulfate using hot urea as the *** method has the superiorities that co-precipitation of cations is ensured and continuous decomposition of the hot urea is achieved to obtain the narrow size distribution *** addition of small amount of ammonium sulfate surfactant,although has no influence on YAG garnet phase formation,has significant effect on dispersion,particles distribution and sinterability of the resultant YAG and Yb：YAG *** with the undoped sample,the green body of Yb：YAG doped with ammonium sulfate has higher total shrinkage,linear shrinkage rate and relative density through sintering at 1600 ℃.The resultant Yb：YAG powders can be sintered into transparent ceramics at 1700 ℃ through vacuum *** influence of the sulfate ions on characteristics of the resultant powders was thoroughly studied.
