To better understand the factors influencing the thermal structure of tributaries in the Three Gorges Reservoir （TGR）, a well validated three-dimensional hydrodynamic and water temperature model was proposed to simulate the water temperature distribution in the Xiangxi Bay, a representative tributary of TGR. The numerical results show that water temperature stratification seasonally occurred in the Xiangxi Bay, with stable vertical temperature profiles. It is found from the numerical experiments that three key factors are responsible for the formation of water temperature structure：（1） very often, the locations of thermocline are mainly determined by wind speeds, and the higher the wind speed is, the deeper the thermocline is located beneath the water surface, which could be expressed by a fitted exponential function, （2） the thermal structure is affected by static stability of water column, and the thermocline becomes closer to the water surface and its thickness increases with the increase of temperature, （3） due to the effect of the thermal density inflow, the water temperature of the hypolimnion tends to be uniform, however, even under the condition of larger inflow discharge, the influence of the inflow on the epilitnnion and the thermocline is not significant.

The title complex [(ArO)2(THF)Sm(μ-OH)]2?2THF (Ar = C6H2-tBu3-2,4,6) was obtained by the hydrolysis of divalent (ArO)2Sm(THF)3?THF in toluene. It crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P21/c with a = 14.7968(14), b = 18.6981(15), c = 16.8264(17) ?, β = 109.366(2)°, V = 4392.0(7) ?3, Z = 2, C88H150O10Sm2, Mr = 1668.78, Dc = 1.262 g/cm3, F(000) = 1764 and μ(MoKα) = 1.377 mm-1. The final R and wR are 0.0318 and 0.0749, respectively for 9038 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I). The complex possesses a dimeric structure with two centrosymmetric hydroxyl bridges. The samarium atom is coordinated by five oxygen atoms to form a distorted square pyramidal geometry with the average Sm–O(Ar) distance of 2.1757(19) ?. There are H-bond interactions be- tween the molecules.

A novel approach based on the upper bound theory is proposed to assess the stability of excavated slopes with spatially variable clay in undrained *** proposed random limit analysis is a combination of the deterministic slope stability limit analysis together with random field theory and Monte Carlo simulation.A series of analyses is conducted to verify the potential application of the proposed method and to investigate the effects of the soil undrained shear strength gradient and the spatial correlation length on slope *** groups of potential sliding surfaces are identified and the occurrence probability of each sort of failure mechanism is quantified for various slope *** proposed method is found to be feasible for evaluating slope *** obtained results are helpful in understanding the slope failure mechanism from a quantitative point of *** paper could provide guidance for slope targeted local reinforcement.

Reaction of SmI2（THF）x with 2 equivalents of NaOAr （Ar = C6H2-tert-Bu3-2,4,6） in THF affords a divalent complex of Sm（OAr）2（THF）yTHF 1 in 90.8% yield. Treatment of 1 with 1,2-dimethoxyethane （DME） leads to the ligand-exchange reaction, and a DME-solvated complex of Sm（OAr）2（DME）2 2 was obtained. Complex 1 crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P21/c with a = 10.366（5）, b = 33.024（15）, c = 16.123（7） A, β = 93.197（8）°, V = 5511 （4） A^3, Z = 4, C52H90O6Sm, Mr = 961.59, Dc = 1.159 g/cm^3, F（000） = 2048,μ（MoKα） = 1.107 mm^-1, R = 0.0844 and wR = 0.1401 for 4694 observed reflections. Complex 2 crystallizes in monoclinic, space group C2/c with a = 27.222（5）, b = 10.6140（19）, c = 17.398（4） A, β = 110.245（3）°, V = 4716.4（16） A^3, Z = 4, C44H78O6Sm, Mr = 853.41, Dc = 1.202 g/cm^3, F（000） = 1808,μ（MoKα） = 1.285 mm^-1, R = 0.0361 and wR = 0.0830 for 5210 observed reflections.

It is of significance to investigate deeply the hydrodynamic featu res of the bubble co ntaminated by impurities in view of the fact that the industrial liquid is difficult to keep absolutely *** the basis of the finite volume method,the bubble interface contaminated by the surfactant(1-pentanol)is achieved through solving the concentration transport equations in liquid and along the bubble interface,and solving the absorption and desorption equation at the bubble *** the three-dimensional momentum equation is solved at the same *** is investigated in detail on the influence of interfacial contamination degrees(described with the cap angleθ)on hydrodynamic characteristics of the spherical bubble when the bubble Reynolds number(Re)is larger than ***θis realized by changing the surfactant concentration(C_(0)) in *** present results show that the hydrodynamic characteristics,such as interfacial concentration,interfacial shear stress,interfacial velocity and wake flow,are related to both Re and C_(0) for the contaminated *** C_(0) is relatively low in liquid(i.e.,the contamination degree of the bubble interface is relatively slight),the hydrodynamic characteristics of the bubble can still keep the 2 D features even if Re>*** decrease ofθor the increase of Re can promote the appearance of the unsteady wake *** the present investigation,when Re>200 andθ≤60°,the hydrodynamic characteristics of the bubble show the 3D phenomena,which indicates that axisymmetric model is no longer valid.

Developing high-efficiency photocatalysts for tetracycline hydrochloride(TCH)degradation is of great sig-nificance to ecosystems and human *** this work,a two-step process of exfoliation and re-stacking was performed to prepare re-stacked HTiNbO_(5) nanosheets(R-HTNS)and then coupled with Ti_(3)C_(2) MXene to construct Ti_(3)C_(2) MXene/R-HTNS(MX/RTS)with a 2D/2D Schottky *** 2D/2D het-erostructures between Ti_(3)C_(2) MXene and R-HTNS can produce an internal electric field and provide max-imum interface area for efficient charge transfer across the intimate *** photocatalytic perfor-mance of samples was evaluated by TCH degradation under simulated *** MX/RTS composites,with an optimal sample of 3-MX/RTS,show enhanced photocatalytic activity for TCH degradation com-pared with *** characterization results reveal that the introduction of Ti_(3)C_(2) MXene can signif-icantly increase specific surface area for providing more reactive sites and broaden the light absorption ***,the incident light energy is absorbed by the Ti_(3)C_(2) MXene component in MX/RTS compos-ites to generate photothermal energy(heat),which facilitates the charge carrier separation and surface reaction ***,the enhanced TCH photodegradation activity for MX/RTS composites is due to the introduction of Ti_(3)C_(2) MXene,which possesses the synergistic effect of the increased specific surface area,improved light-harvesting capacity,2D/2D Schottky heterojunction,and photothermal energy ***,the TCH photodegradation behavior is deliberated with a detailed discussion on various co-existing *** TCH photodegradation,the active radical species are determined for 3-MX/***-cording to the characterization results,the possible TCH photodegradation pathway and mechanism over 3-MX/RTS are *** work may offer a novel insight for constructing MXene-based heterostruc-tured photocatalysts with high efficiency.

A scheme is proposed to investigate the non-classical states generated by a quantum scissors device(QSD) operating on the the cavity mode of an optomechanical system. When the catalytic QSD acts on the cavity mode of the optomechanical system, the resulting state contains only the vacuum, single-photon and two-photon states depending upon the coupling parameter of the optomechanical system as well as the transmission coefficients of beam splitters(BSs). Especially, the output state is just a class of multicomponent cat state truncations at time t = 2π by choosing the appropriate value of coupling parameter. We discuss the success probability of such a state and the fidelity between the output state and input state via QSD. Then the linear entropy is used to investigate the entanglement between the two subsystems, finding that QSD operation can enhance their entanglement degree. Furthermore, we also derive the analytical expression of the Wigner function(WF) for the cavity mode via QSD and numerically analyze the WF distribution in phase space at time t =2π. These results show that the high non-classicality of output state can always be achieved by modulating the coupling parameter of the optomechanical system as well as the transmittance of BSs.

Laser oscillating welding was employed to fabricate Al-Si coated press-hardened steel(PHS)to improve the element homogeneity in the fusion *** oscillating welding was employed with various oscillation amplitudes(0 mm,0.5 mm and 1.3 mm)in this *** foil of 0.06 mm thickness was used as an interlayer between two tailored PHS *** weld morphology,elemental profile,microstructure and tensile strength of welded joints were *** results showed that full penetration weld without any weld defects were achieved for any oscillation amplitudes,and weld width increased with increasing oscillation *** the oscillation amplitudes increased,Ni and Al had an uneven elemental profile due to strong stirring force,but the Ni and Al content in the weld was decreased and Ni had a sharp descent compared to Al *** fewδ-ferrite was presented in fusion line with the oscillation amplitudes increased to 1.3 *** oscillation amplitudes did not have an effect on the tensile properties,which was similar to that of base *** if keeping increasing the oscillation amplitudes or reducing the thickness of Ni interlayer,it has a potential risk to form more and moreδferrite such that deteriorate the mechnical properties of welded joints.

Oxychalcogenides have been drawn much attention to be explored as nonlinear optical(NLO)materials in recent *** date,all the NLO oxychalcogenides crystallize in low dimensional ***,a new oxysulfide K_(2)Ba_(0.5)Ga_(9)O_(2)S_(13) was obtained via three-dimensional(3D){[Ga_(9)O_(2)S_(13)]^(3-)}_(∞)polyanionic *** the first oxychalcogenide with 3D NLO-acitve polyanionic framework,K_(2)Ba_(0.5)Ga_(9)O_(2)S_(13) has a wide band gap of 3.72 eV,and exhibits a high laser-induced damage threshold(LIDT,17×AgGaS_(2)).It presents moderate phase-matchable NLO response of 0.5×AgGaS_(2) at 2.1μm and 2×KH_(2)PO_(4) at 1.064μ*** theoretical calculation results indicate that the NLO response is mainly contributed from[Ga(2)S4]unit-built[Ga(2)_(3)S_(10)]windmill-like *** work may stimulate the exploration of more NLO oxychalcogenides with balanced performances.
