Hydration evolution of pre-cast concrete with steam and water curing

The hydration characteristics of pre-cast concrete considering the effects of effective initial steam-curing and water-curing duration were measured and analyzed with XRD, TG, X-ray CT, SEM-BSE and MIP techniques. The results show that the effective initial steam-curing duration for pre-cast concrete with lower water-binder ratio was 10 14 h at 50 °C and the initial water-curing duration was 7 14 d. And the hydration evolution of cement, fly ash and slag in pre-cast concrete was obtained respectively by combining the hydrochlorides and EDTA selecting dissolution methods, based on which the contents of hydrated and anhydrate in concrete were calculated and the corresponding dynamic capillary porosity was also determined. Moreover, the comparison between calculated results and experimental ones indicates that the proposed evolution models of microscopic characteristics corresponding to hydration kinetics of cemented materials could be adopted to predict the developing trend of capillary porosity and hydration-products content in pre-cast concrete with fly ash and slag under certain curing conditions.

The optimum concentration of Na_2 WO_4 was explored in relation to the cell density and astaxanthin content in Haematococcus pluvialis. Then, the cellular morphology, nitrate reductase(NR) activity, soluble sugar and protein contents, and chlorophyll ?uorescence were measured, and the transcriptional expression of carotenogenic genes was determined by quantitative real-time PCR. The results showed that 3.0 mmol/L of Na_2 WO_4 was the optimum concentration to induce astaxanthin accumulation, with a maximum content of 49.41±0.13 pg/cell reached on the tenth day. The NR activity decreased signi?cantly and continually after Na_2 WO_4 treatment. The soluble sugar content increased gradually during the experimental period and was eventually signi?cantly higher than that in the control. The soluble protein content increased rapidly,reached a maximum in day 0.5 and day 1 and then decreased. The ef fective photochemical effciency of PSII( F v'/F m') and light saturation( E k) ?rst decreased and then tended to stabilize, and NADP +-glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase(GAPDH) gene expression was correlated with photosynthesis. The transcriptional expression of ipi, psy and bkt was signi?cantly increased compared with that in the control after application of Na_2 WO_4, and the relative expression of ipi reached the highest level on the ?fth day, with a 98.03±1.92-fold increase. Our results describe a new approach to promote the ef fective accumulation of astaxanthin in H. pluvialis by NR inhibitor Na_2 WO_4.

Electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding materials with ultrathin,flexible,superior mechanical and thermal management properties are highly desirable for smart and wearable ***,ultrathin and flexible Ni/Cu/metallic glass/Cu/Ni(Ni/Cu/MG)multilayer composite with alternate magnetic and electrical structures was designed via facial electroless plating of Cu and Ni on an Fe-based metallic *** resultant 0.02 mm-thick Ni/Cu/MG composite displays a superior EMI shielding effectiveness(EMI SE)of 35 dB and a great EMI SE/t of 1750 dB/mm,which is greater than those of composites with monotonous multilayer or homogeneous *** improved EMI SE originates from the massive ohmic losses,the enhanced internal reflection/absorption,and the abundant interfacial polarization ***,Ni/Cu/MG exhibits a high tensile strength of up to 1.2 GPa and outstanding mechanical stability,enabling the EMI SE remains unchanged after 10,000 times of ***,Ni/Cu/MG has excellent Joule heating characteristics and thermal stability,which is very suitable for heating components of wearable hyperthermia devices.

In this paper we propose a construction method of the planar cubic algebraic splinecurve with endpoint interpolation conditions and a specific analysis of its properties. Thepiecewise cubic algebraic curve has G2 continuous contact with the control polygon at twoendpoints and is G2 continuous between each segments of itself. The process of this method issimple and clear, and provides a new way of thinking to design implicit curves.

Late-maturity type of Yongyou japonica/indica hybrids series （LMYS） have shown great yield potential, and are being widely planted in the lower reaches of Yangtze River, china. Knowledge about suitable growing zone and evaluation of yield advantage is of practicall importance for LMYS in this region. Fifteen LMYS, two high-yielding inbred japonica check varieties （CK-J） and two high-yielding hybrid indica check varieties （CK-I） were grown at Xinghua （119.57°E, 33.05°N） of Lixiahe region, Yangzhou （119.25°E, 32.30°N）of Yanjiang region, Changshu （120.46°E, 31.41°N）of Taihu Lake region, and ningbo （121.31°E, 29.45°N） of Ningshao Plain in 2013 and 2014. The results showed that maturity dates of the 15 were later than the secure maturity date at Xinghua and 6, 14 and 15 LMYS were mature before the secure maturity date at Yangzhou, Changshu and ningbo, respectively. One variety was identified as high-yielding variety among LMYS （HYYS） at Yangzhou, 8 HYYS in 201：3 and 9 HYYS in 2014 at Changshu, 9 HYYS at ningbo. HYYS here referred to the variety among LMYS that was mature before the secure maturity date and had at least 8% higher grain yield than both CK-J and CK-I at each experimental site. Grain yield of HYYS at each experimental site was about 12.0 t ha-1 or higher, and was significantly higher than CK varieties. High yield of HYYS was mainly attributed to larger sink size due to more spikelets per panicle. Plant height of HYYS was about 140 cm, and was significantly higher than check varieties. Significant positive correlations were recorded between duration from heading to maturity stage and grain yield, and also between whole growth periods and grain yield. HYYS had obvious advantage over check varieties in biomass accumulation and leaf area duration from heading to maturity stage. A new model is proposed to explain the physical mechanism of the extraordinary transmission enhancement in subwavelength metallic *** extraordinary transmission enhancement is described by the co-operation of Fabry-Perot-like(FPL) resonance and the surface plasmon polariton(SPP) *** rigorous coupled-wave analysis(RCWA) and the finite difference time domain(FDTD) method are employed to illustrate the model by calculating the transmission and the field distributions in the subwavelength metallic grating,*** the numerical calculations show that transmission enhancement is achieved when the coupling resonance of the incident light,the surface plasmon polariton mode and the Fabry-Perot-Like mode is happened,which are in good agreement with the proposed model.

Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease and gut microbiota participate in the establishment of intestinal immunity. This study was performed to identify the fecal microbial composition of psoriasis patients, and investigated the influence of subgroup(type and severity) on the fecal microbial composition, and to define the key microbiota in the pathogenesis of psoriasis. Fecal samples from 35 psoriasis patients and 27 healthy controls were sequenced by 16 S rRNA and then analyzed by informatics methods. We found that the microbiota of the psoriasis group differed from that of the heathy group. The relative abundances of Firmicutes and Bacteroidetes were inverted at the phylum level, and 16 kinds of phylotype at the genus level were found with significant difference. No microbial diversity and composition alteration were observed among the four types of psoriasis. The microbiota of psoriasis patients in the severe state differs from those of psoriasis patients with more mild conditions and also the healthy controls. The veillonella in fecal microbiota showed a positive relationship with h-CRP in blood. This research proved that psoriasis patients have a significant disturbed microbiota profiles. Further study of psoriasis based on microbiota may provide novel insights into the pathogenesis of psoriasis and more evidence for the prevention and treatment of psoriasis.

Chronic functional constipation is a kind of common intestinal disease that occurs in children, adults and elderly people. This disease not only causes great influence to physiological function, but also results in varying degrees of psychological barriers. At present, constipation treatments continue to rely on traditional methods such as purgative therapy and surgery. However, these approaches can disrupt intestinal function. Recent research between intestinal diseases and gut microbiota has gradually revealed a connection between constipation and intestinal flora disturbance, providing a theoretical basis for microbial treatment in chronic constipation. Microbial treatment mainly includes probiotic preparations such as probiotics, prebiotics, synbiotics and fecal microbiota transplantation(FMT). Due to its safety, convenience and curative effect, probiotic preparations have been widely accepted, especially gradually developed FMT with higher curative effects. Microbial treatment improves clinical symptoms, promotes the recovery of intestinal flora, and has no complications during the treatment process. Compared with traditional treatments, microbial treatment in chronic constipation has advantages, and is worthy of further promotion from clinical research to clinical application.

In order to analyze power system stability in environment of WAMS(wide area measurement system),a new steady state stability model with time-varying delay was proposed for power *** factors of exciter and power system stabilizer with delay were introduced into analytical *** decrease conservativeness of stability analysis,an improved Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional was constructed,and then a new delay-dependent steady state stability criterion for power system,which overcomes the disadvantages of eigenvalue computation method,was *** proposed model and criterion were tested on synchronous-machine infinite-bus power *** test results demonstrate that Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional based power system stability analysis method is applicable and effective in the analysis of time delay power system stability.
