Generation of Low-Delay and High-Stability Multicast Tree

Delay and stability are two key factors that affect the performance of multicast data transmission in a ***,current algorithms of tree generation hardly meet the requirements of low delay and high sta-bility *** a general network,the generation algorithm of a multicast tree with minimum delay and maximum stability is an NP-hard problem,without a precise and efficient *** address these challenges,this paper studies the generation of low-delay and high-stability multicast trees under the model of spanning tree based on stability probability,degree-constrained,edge-weighted for multicast(T-SDE).A class of algorithms was proposed which creates the multicast tree greedy on the ratio of fan-out to delay(RFD)and probability of stability of terminal to obtain a high performance in *** proposed algorithms greedily select terminals with a large RFD and a high probability of stability as forwarding nodes in the generation of the multicast tree,where the larger RFD and higher stability of upstream nodes are beneficial to achieve a low transmission delay and high stability in *** proposed RFD can be compatible with the original model,which can take advantage of network connectivity during the generation of a multicast *** paper carries out simulation experiments on Matlab R2016b to measure the performance of the proposed *** results show that the proposed algorithm can provide a smaller height,higher stability,and a lower transmission delay of the resulting multicast tree than other *** spanning tree of the proposed algorithms can support low transmission delay and high stability in multicast transmission.

Periodic Layered Structure Formed during Interfacial Reaction

A review of the periodic layered structure （PLS） formed during reactive diffusion was presented. The formation of PLS is a very interesting and complex phenomenon during the reactive diffusion process. It was firstly discovered occasionally. The formation of PLS has been reported in various solid state diffusion couples such as Zn/ Ni3 Si, Mg/SiO2, Zn/Cux Tiy and so on, and some controversial theoretical models and formation mechanism of PLS were put forward. However, there have been few reports about the PLS formed during hot dip. The development of PLS was reviewed, and the recent progress referring to the formation of PLS during the hot dip aluminizing of a no- vel Fe-Cr-B cast steel was especially introduced. However, not all of the borides could form PLS in their interracial reaction with molten Al. PLS only formed at the Cr-rich Fe2B/Al interface, while Mo-rich Fe2B fractured. A general qualitative description for the interracial reaction of Fe-Cr-B cast steel with molten Al was represented. Further inves- tigation on the constituents of the alternating phases and formation mechanism of PLS needs to be done. At last, the development trends of PLS were proposed.

A biological potassium channel is> 1000 times more permeable to K+than to Na+and exhibits a giant permeation rate of ～108ions/*** is a great challenge to construct artificial potassium channels with such high sele ctivity and ion conduction ***,we unveil a long-overlo oked structural feature that underpins the ultra-high K+/Na+*** carrying out massive molecular dynamics simulation for ion transport through carbonyl-oxygen-modified bi-layer graphene nanopores,we find that the twisted carbonyl rings enable strict potassium selectivity with a dynamic K+/Na+selectivity ratio of 1295 and a K+conduction rate of 3.5 × 107ions/s,approaching those of the biological ***,atomic trajectories of K+permeation events suggest a dual-ion transport mode,*** like-charged potassium ions are successively captured by the nanopores in the graphene bi-layer and are interconnected by sharing one or two interlayer water *** dual-ion behavior allows rapid release of the exiting potassium ion via a soft knock-on mechanism,which has previously been found only in biological ion *** a proof-of-concept utilization of this discovery,we propose a novel way for ionic power generation by mixing KCl and NaCl solutions through the bi-layer graphene nanopores,termed potassium-permselectivity enabled osmotic power generation(PoPee-OP G).Theoretically,the biomimetic device achieves a very high power density of> 1000 W/m2with graphene sheets of <1% *** study provides a blueprint for artificial potassium channels and thus paves the way toward next-generation electric-eel-mimetic ionic power generation.

QBFO-BOMP Based Channel Estimation Algorithm for mmWave Massive MIMO Systems

At present,the traditional channel estimation algorithms have the disadvantages of over-reliance on initial conditions and high *** bacterial foraging optimization(BFO)-based algorithm has been applied in wireless communication and signal processing because of its simple operation and strong self-organization *** the BFO-based algorithm is easy to fall into local ***,this paper proposes the quantum bacterial foraging optimization(QBFO)-binary orthogonal matching pursuit(BOMP)channel estimation algorithm to the problem of local ***,the binary matrix is constructed according to whether atoms are selected or *** the support set of the sparse signal is recovered according to the BOMP-based ***,the QBFO-based algorithm is used to obtain the estimated channel *** optimization function of the least squares method is taken as the fitness *** on the communication between the quantum bacteria and the fitness function value,chemotaxis,reproduction and dispersion operations are carried out to update the bacteria *** results showthat compared with other algorithms,the estimationmechanism based onQBFOBOMP algorithm can effectively improve the channel estimation performance of millimeter wave(mmWave)massive multiple input multiple output(MIMO)***,the analysis of the time ratio shows that the quantization of the bacteria does not significantly increase the complexity.

The evolution of courtship displays in Galliformes

Species in Galliformes have elaborate ritual courtship displays,often including strutting,fluffing of tail or head feathers,and vocal sounds that serve as excellent examples of sexual *** to the male orientation to the female while either posturing or moving,these courtship displays of gallinaceous species can be classified into three categories:1)‘frontal displays’,2)‘lateral displays’,and 3)‘both frontal and lateral displays’.Questions regarding which category of displays is the ancestral state and the evolutionary history of courtship displays in Galliformes remain *** collected and classified 131 species in terms of their courtship displays into the three categories listed above and carried out a large-scale comparative analysis to reveal the evolutionary trajectory of this *** found that the ancestral state of courtship displays of Galliformes involves both relatively short and straightforward frontal and lateral elements(i.e.,the category of‘both frontal and lateral displays’).Furthermore,ancestral trait reconstructions suggest that transitions from‘lateral displays’to‘frontal displays’occurred more frequently than the other way around(i.e.,from‘frontal displays’to‘lateral displays’).In addition,some transitions occurred from‘both frontal and lateral displays’to‘lateral displays’but not from‘both frontal and lateral displays’to‘frontal displays’.Ancestral state reconstruction of courtship displays at the root of the Galliformes phylogeny supports the‘both frontal and lateral displays’first *** original state then evolved towards two extremes,either‘frontal displays’or‘lateral displays’,with more complicated and elaborate display ***,subsequent transitions occurred from‘lateral displays’to‘frontal displays’much more frequently than the other way around during the evolutionary history,indicating positive selection of‘frontal displays’.

Preparation of nano-crystal N-Zn/TiO_2 anode films and the effects of co-sensitization on the performance of dye-sensitized solar cells

A nano-crystal N–Zn/TiO 2 anode film was prepared using a combined technology. X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry characterizations showed that the two elements N and Zn were doped into nano-crystal TiO 2 successfully. This resulted in a strong redshift in the UV-Visible spectrum. UV-Visible measurements showed that the light absorption of N719 and P3OT were complementary and covered the entire visible region. This led to a high utilization of visible light. Solar cells based on the N–Zn/TiO 2 anode film were co-sensitized using P3OT and N719. The cells have a short-circuit current density of 7.91 mA/cm 2 , an open-circuit photovoltage of 0.659 V, and a photoelectric conversion efficiency of 2.64%. Also, the relationship among the N–Zn/TiO 2 -film anode’s electric structure, the dye’s LUMO, electrochemical impedance, and photoelectric conversion efficiency are discussed in the paper.

Strongly screening β^- decay antineutrino energy loss in presupernova

In this study, we investigate the ion-ball screening model(model(I)), focused on the screening electrostatic potential per electron under the Wigner-Seitz approximation and the Q-value correction. By considering the changes of the Coulomb free energy and the effects of strong electron screening(SES) on the Q-value and the Coulomb chemical potential, we discuss the linear-response screening model(model(Ⅱ)). We also analyze the influence of the SES on the β^- decay antineutrino energy loss rate by considering the corrections of the Q-value, the electron chemical potential, and electron energy, as well as the shell and pair effects. The antineutrino energy loss rate is found to increase by two orders of magnitude(e.g., the SES enhancement factor reaches 651.9 for model(Ⅱ)) due to the SES effect.

Memory-Occupied Routing Algorithms for Quantum Relay Networks

Quantum transmission experiments have shown that the success-ful transmission rate of entangled quanta in optical fibers decreases *** current quantum networks deploy quantum relays to establish long-distance connections,the increase in transmission distance and entanglement switching costs still need to be considered when selecting the next ***,most of the existing quantum network models prefer to consider the parameters of the physical layer,which ignore the influence factors of the network *** this paper,we propose a meshy quantum network model based on quantum teleportation,which considers both net-work layer and physical layer *** proposed model can reflect the realistic transmission characteristics and morphological characteristics of the quantum relay ***,we study the network throughput of different routing algorithms with the same given parameters when multiple source-destination pairs are interconnected *** solve the chal-lenges of routing competition caused by the simultaneous transmission,we present greedy memory-occupied algorithm Q-GMOA and random memory-occupied algorithm *** proposed meshy quantum network model and the memory-occupied routing algorithms can improve the utilization rate of resources and the transmission performance of the quantum *** the evaluation results indicate that the proposed methods embrace a higher transmission rate than the previous methods with repeater occupation.

Microarray gene expression analysis of chemosensitivity for docetaxel,cisplatin and 5-fluorouracil(TPF)combined chemotherapeutic regimen in hypopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma

Objective: To screen out a set of candidate genes which could help to determine whether patients with hypopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (HSCC) could benefit from docetaxel, cisplatin and 5-fluorouracil (TPF) induction chemotherapy. Methods: Gene-expression profiles in 12 TPF-sensitive patients were compared to 9 resistant controls by microarray analysis. Subsequently, expression levels of potential biomarkers in chemosensitive cell line FaDu after TPF treatment were observed by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). Results: Through microarray analysis, 1,579 differentially expressed genes were identified, of which 815 were up-regulated in TPF chemotherapy-responsive tissues whereas 764 were down-regulated. Gene ontology (GO) analysis suggested these genes participating in physiological processes including transcription and its regulation, cellular signal transduction and metabolic process. Additionally, Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) database revealed that MAPK and Jat/STAT signaling pathways occupied important roles in TPF chemotherapeutic sensitivity. Moreover, in vitro cell culture experiments revealed the expression alternations of IL-6, MAPK14, JUN, CDK5 and CAMK2A exposed to TPF treatment by qRT-PCR, whilst providing an insight into the mechanism underlying TPF chemotherapeutic response in HSCC. Conclusions: These results provided a battery of genes related to TPF chemotherapeutic sensitivity and might act as molecular targets in HSCC treatment. Moreover, these candidate biomarkers could contribute to HSCC individualized treatment.
