Internal solitary wave(ISW),as a typical marine dynamic process in the deep sea,widely exists in oceans and marginal seas *** interaction between ISW and the seafloor mainly occurs in the bottom boundary *** the seabed boundary layer of the deep sea,ISW is the most important dynamic *** study analyzed the current status,hotspots,and frontiers of research on the interaction between ISW and the seafloor by *** on the action of ISW on the seabed,such as transformation and reaction,a large amount of research work and results were systematically analyzed and *** this basis,this study analyzed the wave–wave interaction and interaction between ISW and the bedform or slope of the seabed,which provided a new perspective for an in‐depth understanding of the interaction between ISW and the ***,the latest research results of the bottom boundary layer and marine engineering stability by ISW were introduced,and the unresolved problems in the current research work were *** study provides a valuable reference for further research on the hazards of ISW to marine engineering geology.

Solid-state batteries(SSBs)are attracting growing interest as long-lasting,thermally resilient,and high-safe energy storage *** an emerging area of battery chemistry,there are many issues with SSBs,including strongly reductive lithium anodes,oxidized cathodes(state of charge),the thermodynamic stability limits of solid-state electrolytes(SSEs),and the ubiquitous and critical *** this Review,we provided an overview of the main obstacles in the development of SSBs,such as the lithium anode|SSEs interface,the cathode|SSEs interface,lithium-ion transport in the SSEs,and the root origin of lithium intrusions,as well as the safety issues caused by the *** and overcoming these obstacles are crucial but also extremely challenging as the localized and buried nature of the intimate contact between electrode and SSEs makes direct detection *** reviewed advanced characterization techniques and discussed the complex ion/electron-transport mechanism that have been plaguing ***,we focused on studying and revealing the coupled electro-chemo-mechanical behavior occurring in the lithium anode,cathode,SSEs,and beyond.

In recent years,the exploration of seabed has been intensified,but the submarine soils of silt and sand in the Yellow Sea area have not been well investigated so *** this study,the physical and mechanical properties of silt and sand from the Yellow Sea were measured using a direct shear apparatus and their microstructures were observed using a scanning electron *** test results suggest that the shear strength of silt and sand increases linearly with the increase of normal *** on the direct shear test,the scanning electron microscope was used to observe the section surface of *** is observed that the section surface becomes rough,with many“V”‐shaped *** particles appear on the surface of the silt structure and tend to be *** X‐ray diffraction experiment reveals that the sand and silt have different *** shear strength of sand is slightly greater than that of silt under high stress,which is related to the shape of soil particles and the mineral *** results can be a reference for further study of other soils in the Yellow Sea;meanwhile,they can serve as soil parameters for the stability and durability analyses of offshore infrastructure construction.

Numerical study on gas production via a horizontal well from hydrate reservoirs with different slope angles in the South China Sea

It is important to study the effect of hydrate production on the physical and mechanical properties of low-permeability clayey–silty reservoirs for the largescale exploitation of hydrate reservoirs in the South China *** this study,a multiphysical-field coupling model,combined with actual exploration drilling data and the mechanical experimental data of hydrate cores in the laboratory,was established to investigate the physical and mechanical properties of low-permeability reservoirs with different slope angles during 5-year hydrate production by the depressurization method via a horizontal *** result shows that the permeability of reservoirs severely affects gas production rate,and the maximum gas production amount of a 20-m-long horizontal well can reach186.8 m3/day during the 5-year hydrate *** with smaller slope angles show higher gas production *** depressurization propagation and hydrate dissociation mainly develop along the direction parallel to the ***,the mean effective stress of reservoirs is concentrated in the near-wellbore area with the on-going hydrate production,and gradually decreases with the increase of the slope *** from the effective stress distribution law,the total reservoir settlement amount first decreases and then increases with the increase of the slope *** maximum settlement of reservoirs with a 0°slope angle is up to 3.4 m,and the displacement in the near-wellbore area is as high as2.2 m after 5 years of hydrate *** is concluded that the pore pressure drop region of low-permeability reservoirs in the South China Sea is limited,and various slope angles further lead to differences in effective stress and strain of reservoirs during hydrate production,resulting in severe uneven settlement of reservoirs.

Full utilization of the excited species at both singlet states(1R*)and triplet states(3R*)is crucial to improving electrochemiluminescence(ECL)efficiency but is challenging for organic luminescent ***,an aggregation-induced delayed ECL(AIDECL)active organic dot(OD)containing a benzophenone acceptor and dimethylacridine donor is reported,which shows high ECL efficiency via reverse intersystem crossing(RISC)of non-emissive 3R*to emissive 1R*,overcoming the spin-forbidden radiative decay from 3R*.By introducing dual donor-acceptor pairs into luminophores,it is found that nonradiative pathway could be further suppressed via enhanced intermolecular weak interactions,and multiple spin-up conversion channels could be *** a consequence,the obtained OD enjoys a 6.8-fold higher ECL efficiency relative to the control AIDECL-active ***-crystal studies and theoretical calculations reveal that the enhanced AIDECL behaviors come from the acceleration of both radiative transition and *** work represents a major step towards purely organic,high-efficiency ECL dyes and a direction for the design of next-generation ECL dyes at the molecular level.

Peculiar hierarchical microstructures in creatures inspire modern material design with distinct *** can effortlessly construct sophisticated yet long-range ordered microstructure across bio-membrane through ion secretion and ***,microstructure biomimicry in current technology generally requires elaborate,point-by-point ***,a spontaneous yet controllable strategy is developed to achieve surface microstructure engineering through a natural surface phenomenon similar to ion secretion-precipitation,that is,coupled dissolution-precipitation.A series of hierarchical microstructures on mineral surfaces in fluids with tunable morphology,orientation,dimension,and spatial distribution are achieved by simply controlling initial dissolution and fluid *** seawater,long-range ordered film of vertically aligned brucite flakes forms through interfacial dissolution,nucleation,and confinement-induced orientation of flakes with vertically grown{110}plane,on the edge of which,fusiform aragonite epitaxially *** negligible initial surface dissolution,prismatic aragonite epitaxially grows on a calcite polyhedron-packed *** tuning fluid chemistry,closely packed calcite polyhedron and loosely packed calcite micro-pillars are engineered through rapid and retarded precipitation,***,the spontaneously grown microstructures resemble those deliberately created by human or found in nature,and tremendously modulate surface *** findings open new possibilities for facile and customizable engineering of microstructural surfaces,hierarchical heterostructures,and biomimetic materials.

Substantial progress has been made in the understanding of gas-involving electrochemical reactions recently for the sake of clean,renewable,and efficient energy ***,the specific influence mechanism of the microenvironment at the reaction interface on the electrocatalytic performance(activity,selectivity,and durability)remains ***,we provide a comprehensive understanding of the interfacial microenvironment of gas-involving electrocatalysis,including carbon dioxide reduction reaction and nitrogen reduction reaction,and classify the factors affecting the reaction thermodynamics and kinetics into gas diffusion,proton supply,and electron *** categorization allows a systematic survey of the literature focusing on electrolyzer-level(optimization of the device,control of the experimental condition,and design of the working electrode),electrolytelevel(increase of gas solubility,regulation of proton supply,and substitution of anodic reaction),and electrocatalyst-level strategies(promotion of gas affinity,adjustment of hydrophobicity,and enhancement of conductivity),aiming to retrieve the correlations between the microenvironment and electrochemical ***,priorities for future studies are suggested to support the comprehensive improvement of next-generation gas-involving electrochemical reactions.
