BACKGROUND Typically,right coronary artery(RCA)occlusion causes ST-segment elevation in inferior ***,it is rarely observed that RCA occlusion causes STsegment elevation only in precordial *** general,an electrocardiogram is considered to be the most important method for determining the infarct-related artery,and recognizing this is helpful for timely discrimination of the culprit artery for reperfusion *** this case,an elderly woman presented with chest pain showing dynamic changes in precordial ST-segment elevation with RCA *** SUMMARY A 96-year-old woman presented with acute chest pain showing precordial STsegment elevation with dynamic *** injury markers became *** angiography indicated acute total occlusion of the proximal nondominant RCA,mild atherosclerosis of left anterior descending artery and 75%stenosis in the left circumflex coronary *** coronary intervention was conducted for the *** manual thrombus aspiration was performed,and fresh thrombus was aspirated.A 2 mm×15 mm balloon was used to dilate the RCA with an acceptable angiographic *** patient’s chest pain was relieved immediately.A postprocedural electrocardiogram showed alleviation of precordial ST-segment *** diagnosis of acute isolated right ventricular infarction caused by proximal nondominant RCA occlusion was *** indicated normal motion of the left ventricular anterior wall and interventricular septum(ejection fraction of 54%),and the right ventricle was slightly *** patient was asymptomatic during the 9-mo follow-up *** Cardiologists should be conscious that precordial ST-segment elevation may be caused by occlusion of the nondominant RCA.

Elutriation characteristics of multi-component mixtures in a fluidized bed pyrolysis process

Multi-component mixtures were prepared to simulate a bed of walnut shells undergoing pyrolysis in acold fluidized *** mixtures with different ratios of walnut shell,semi-chars,and clean char were *** elutriation experiments using these mixtures were performed in a transparent fluidized bed to allow direct observation of the flow patterns and particle *** results indicated that the bubble wake rather than bubble nose was primarily responsible for particle entrainment at higher gas velocities,and that coarser particles would be“transformed”into elutriable *** gas velocities ranged from 0.2 to 1.0 and an exponential decrease in particle concentration with respect to bed height was *** transport disengagement height(TDH)gradually increased with the gas velocity until the entire bed layer enters a pneumatic transport ***,larger TDHs were required when the bed contained a larger fraction of light *** characteristic parameters were used to evaluate particle elutriation:the elutriation rate constant(K),and the residual volatile content of the elutriated particles(v′).These parameters were used to optimize operating gas velocity for the fluidized bed.

BACKGROUND Pheochromocytoma is a rare endocrine tumor arising from chromaffin cells and having extensive and profound effects on the cardiovascular system by continuously or intermittently releasing *** clinical manifestations of pheochromocytoma are diverse,and the typical triad,including episodic headache,palpitations,and sweating,only occurs in 24%of pheochromocytoma patients,which often misleads clinicians into making an incorrect *** herein report the case of a patient with intermittent chest pain and elevated myocardial enzymes for 2 years who was diagnosed with *** SUMMARY A 49-year-old woman presented with intermittent chest pain for 2 *** years ago,the patient experienced chest pain and was diagnosed with acute myocardial infarction,with 25%stenosis in the left *** patient still had intermittent chest pain after *** hours before admission to our hospital,the patient experienced chest pain with nausea and vomiting,lasting for 20 *** I and urinary norepinephrine and catecholamine levels were *** electrocardiogram indicated QT prolongation and ST-segment depression in leads II,III,aVF,and V3-V6.A coronary computed tomography angiogram revealed no evidence of coronary artery *** showed left ventricular enlargement and a decreased posterior inferior wall motion ***-enhanced computed tomography demonstrated an inhomogeneous right adrenal *** patient successfully underwent laparoscopic right adrenalectomy,and histopathology confirmed adrenal *** the first-year follow-up visits,the patient was *** abnormal changes on echocardiography and electro-cardiogram *** Clinicians should be aware of pheochromocytoma.A timely and accurate diagnosis of pheochromocytoma is essential for alleviating serious cardiac complications.

BACKGROUND Takotsubo cardiomyopathy(TCM)is characterized by reversible left ventricular dysfunction triggered by emotional or physical *** 1%-2%of patients with acute coronary syndrome are diagnosed with *** obstructive coronary artery disease is frequently considered to be the cause of chest pain,TCM should be considered in some clinical *** this case,clinicians did not make a timely and accurate diagnosis for TCM due to a lack of knowledge until the third hospitalization with a left *** SUMMARY A 55-year-old postmenopausal woman had intermittent chest pain following emotionally stressful events three times in the past 3 *** troponin levels increased after each instance of symptom onset.A transthoracic echocardiogram showed reversible left ventricular *** patient underwent three coronary angiograms without evidence of coronary artery disease.A left ventriculogram was first performed at the third hospitalization and revealed apical akinesia with ballooning of the apical region and consistent hypercontractile basal *** diagnosis of TCM was *** patient was treated with an angiotensin-converting-enzyme inhibitor(perindopril)and aβ-blocker(metoprolol).No complications occurred during the patient’s *** patient was told to avoid stressful *** the 9-mo follow-up visit,the patient was asymptomatic with an ejection fraction of 55%.CONCLUSION Clinicians should be conscious of the possibility of TCM,especially in postmenopausal women presenting with clinical manifestations similar to acute coronary syndrome without coronary occlusion.

BACKGROUND Arrhythmogenic right ventricular(RV)cardiomyopathy is a rare and currently underrecognized cardiomyopathy characterized by the replacement of RV myocardium by fibrofatty *** may be asymptomatic or symptomatic(palpitations or syncope)and may induce sudden cardiac death,especially during *** prevent adverse events such as sudden cardiac death and heart failure,early diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmogenic RV cardiomyopathy(ARVC)are *** report a patient with ARVC characterized by recurrent syncope during exercise who was successfully treated with combined endocardial and epicardial catheter *** SUMMARY A 43-year-old man was referred for an episode of syncope during ***,the patient experienced two episodes of syncope without a firm etiological *** electrocardiogram obtained at admission indicated ventricular tachycardia originating from the inferior wall of the right *** ventricular tachycardia was terminated with intravenous propafenone.A repeat electrocardiogram showed a regular sinus rhythm with negative T waves and a delayed S-wave upstroke from leads V1 to *** magnetic resonance imaging showed RV free wall thinning,regional RV akinesia,RV dilatation and fibrofatty infiltration(RV ejection fraction of 38%).An electrophysiological study showed multiple inducible ventricular tachycardia as of a focal mechanism from the right *** and epicardial voltage mapping demonstrated scar tissue in the anterior wall,free wall and posterior wall of the right *** potentials were also *** patient was diagnosed with ARVC and treated with combined endocardial and epicardial catheter ablation with a very satisfactory follow-up *** Clinicians should be aware of ARVC,and further workup,including imaging with multiple modalities,should be *** combination of epicardial and endocardial catheter ablation can lead to a good outcome.

The changing pattern of magnetic characteristics in eastern European loess deposits is the most similar across the world to that of the Chinese Loess Plateau,both of which are dominated by the strength of *** a systematical study to the rock magnetism of eastern European loess is not only helpful for understanding the paleoclimatic information preserved by themselves,but also beneficial for promoting the cognition of the pedogenic mechanism in loess *** this study,a detailed rock-magnetic analysis of seventy loess/paleosol samples,taken from the Titel Loess Plateau in northern Serbia,is carried out for a better understanding of the magnetic records since late Middle *** results provide us some ***,the magnetic susceptibility values of the paleosols in the Titel loess-paleosol sequence are generally less than 100×10^(-8)m^(3)kg^(-1),significantly lower than those of the loess sections in the Chinese Loess Plateau,even though they are under similar climatic ***,the behaviors of the parameters related to the distributions of magnetic particles in these two regions are *** difference in the contents of ferrimagnetic minerals is the leading reason that caused the difference in their magnetic characteristics,but the mechanism is still open to ***,based on the analysis of thermomagnetic curves,a gradually increasing trend of the relative contents of maghemite over the last four glacial-interglacial cycles is *** realization of thermally unstable maghemite from Chinese loess leads us to speculate that the long-term increasing trend of the relative contents of maghemite in Titel loess-paleosol sequence likely is a mineralogical response to the progressive enhancement of continental climate in the Pannonian Basin since the Middle Pleistocene.

Resistive switching behavior and mechanism of HfO_(x) films with large on/off ratio by structure design

Different bilayer structures of HfO_(x)/Ti(TiO_(x)) are designed for hafnium-based memory to investigate the switching characteristics. The chemical states in the films and near the interface are characterized by x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,and the oxygen vacancies are analyzed. Highly improved on/off ratio(~104) and much uniform switching parameters are observed for bilayer structures compared to single layer HfO_(x) sample, which can be attributed to the modulation of oxygen vacancies at the interface and better control of the growth of filaments. Furthermore, the reliability of the prepared samples is investigated. The carrier conduction behaviors of HfO_(x)-based samples can be attributed to the trapping and de-trapping process of oxygen vacancies and a filamentary model is proposed. In addition, the rupture of filaments during the reset process for the bilayer structures occur at the weak points near the interface by the recovery of oxygen vacancies accompanied by the variation of barrier height. The re-formation of fixed filaments due to the residual filaments as lightning rods results in the better switching performance of the bilayer structure.

Ablation behavior of(ZrC/SiC)_(3)alternate coating prepared on sharp leading edge C/C composites by CVD

A(ZrC/SiC)_(3)alternate coating was deposited on sharp leading edge(SLE)C/C composites by chemical vapor deposition(CVD).The ablation behavior was examined via oxyacetylene torch with heat flux of 2.38 MW/m^*** results indicated that the alternate coating exhibited great ablation resistance,providing an effective protection for C/C *** initial rapid heating stage,the(ZrC/SiC)_(3) alternate coating can relieve thermal stress,avoiding the peeling of coating and keeping an intact coating *** subsequent ablation,the Si C layers in central region were consumed rapidly,leaving layered *** stacked ZrO_(2) layers were reserved with the assistance of the release of thermal stress by interspaces,offering a great anti-scouring *** transition and border regions,the alternate Si C layers can delay oxygen erosion of inner coating and C/C substrate by the formation of SiO_(2).It is believed that the results would be helpful for the design and application of anti-ablation coatings on SLE C/C composites.

Estimation of co-channel interference between cities caused by ducting and turbulence

With the rapid development of the fifth-generation(5 G)mobile communication technology,the application of each frequency band has reached the extreme,causing mutual interference between different ***,there is a requirement for detecting filtering and preventing *** the troposphere,over-the-horizon propagation occurs in atmospheric ducts and turbulent *** effects of both ducting and turbulence can increase the probability of occurrence of long-distance co-channel interference(CCI),in turn,severely affecting the key performance indicators such as system access,handover and *** the 5 G era,to ensure communication channels and information security,CCI must be *** paper introduces a scattering parabolic equation algorithm for calculating signal propagation in atmospheric ducts on irregular terrain *** combines Hitney’s radio physical optical model and Wagner’s nonuniform turbulent scattering model for calculating the tropospheric scattering in an evaporation duct or a surface-based *** new model proposes a tropospheric scattering parabolic equation algorithm for various tropospheric duct ***,as a specific case,the topographical boundaries between several cities in the East China Plain were considered,and the over-the-horizon propagation loss was simulated for various ducting and turbulent *** simulation results were used to evaluate whether CCI would occur between cities in a specific environment.

The unique performance advantages of hypersonic vehicles represent a critical challenge for existing defense *** facilitate defensive operations against hypersonic vehicles in near space,this paper systematically discusses both the advantages of these vehicles and the difficulties in intercepting *** on the state-of-the-art terminal guidance laws for intercepting hypersonic vehicles in near space,we examine research progress in the area of single-and multi-interceptor cooperative guidance laws and summarize their advantages and *** also highlight future research directions for developing an effective terminal guidance law for multi-interceptor cooperative interception of hypersonic vehicles,based on four aspects:the information domain,space domain,physical domain,and effect-cost *** findings provide a reference for further research into near-space interceptor terminal guidance technologies.
