All-inorganic nitrate electrolyte for high-performance lithium oxygen battery

Lithium-oxygen(Li-O_(2))batteries have been regarded as an expectant successor for next-generation energy storage systems owing to their ultra-high theoretical energy ***,the comprehensive properties of the commonly utilized organic salt electrolyte are still unsatisfactory,not to mention their expensive prices,which seriously hinders the practical production and application of Li-O_(2) ***,we have proposed a low-cost all-inorganic nitrate electrolyte(LiNO_(3)-KNO_(3)-DMSO)for Li-O_(2) *** inorganic nitrate electrolyte exhibits higher ionic conductivity and a wider electrochemical stability window than the organic salt *** existence of K+can stabilize the O_(2)-intermediate,promoting the discharge process through the solution pathway with an enlarged *** at an ultra-low concentration of 0.01 M,the K+can still remain stable to promote the solution discharge process and also possess a new function of inhibiting the dendrite growth by electrostatic shielding,further enhancing the battery stability and contributing to the long cycle *** a result,in the 0.99 M LiNO_(3)-0.01 M KNO_(3)-DMSO electrolyte,the Li-O_(2) batteries exhibit prolonged cycling performance(108 cycles)and excellent rate performance(2 A·g^(-1)),significantly superior to the organic salt one.

Track-Before-Detect(TBD) is an efficient method to detect dim targets for radars. Conventional TBD usually follows an approximate motion model of the target, which may cause an inaccurate integration of the target energy. A TBD technique on basis of pseudo-spectrum in mixed coordinates adopting an accurate motion model for bistatic radar system is developed in this *** predicted position in bistatic polar plane is derived according to a nonlinear function that exactly describes the constant Cartesian velocity motion. Then around the predicted position, a pseudo-spectrum is formulated and its samples are accumulated to the integration frame for energy integration. The evolution of the state and the procedure of accumulation of the target energy are derived elaborately. The superior performance of the proposed method is demonstrated by some simulations.

The substantial arsenic(As)content present in arsenic-containing bio-leaching residue(ABR)presents noteworthy environ-mental challenges attributable to its inherent instability and susceptibility to *** its elevated calcium sulfate content,ABR exhibits considerable promise for industrial *** study delved into the feasibility of utilizing ABR as a source of sulfates for producing super sulfated cement(SSC),offering an innovative binder for cemented paste backfill(CPB).Thermal treatment at varying temperatures of 150,350,600,and 800℃ was employed to modify ABR’s *** investigation encompassed the examination of phase transformations and alterations in the chemical composition of As within ***,the hydration characteristics of SSC utilizing ABR,with or without thermal treatment,were studied,encompassing reaction kinetics,setting time,strength development,and *** findings revealed that thermal treatment changed the calcium sulfate structure in ABR,consequently impacting the resultant sample ***,calcination at 600℃ demonstrated optimal modification effects on both early and long-term strength *** enhanced performance can be attributed to the augmented formation of reaction products and a densified ***,the thermal treatment elicited modifications in the chemical As fractions within ABR,with limited impact on the As immobilization capacity of the prepared binders.

In this article, 1-(4-ethylphenyl)-nonane-1,3-dione(0206) was prepared by Claisen condensation. By mixing 0206, chelate, and base oil in a ratio of 3.2:4.8:2, a diketone lubricant(PAO=14(20%)) that can achieve superlubricity was prepared and applied to bearing lubrication experiments. The experimental results show that when the bearing was lubricated by base oil, the friction coefficient(COF) and temperature rise decreased with the decrease of the viscosity of PAO. When PAO=14(20%) was used as the lubricant, the COF of the bearing was the lowest(0.001), and the wear morphology was comparable to that of the bearing lubricated with commercial lubricant. Compared with the base oil with the same viscosity, it is found that the COF and temperature rise of the bearing lubricated by PAO=14(20%) were lower under any experimental conditions. And when the amount of lubricant added was 10 μL, the COF of the bearing lubricated by PAO=14(20%) reached a very low value(0.0004).Bearing ball surface analysis identified the formation of diketone adsorption films. Combined with the previous PAO=14(20%)superlubricity mechanism, it was considered that the occurrence of tribochemical reaction and the bearing effect of chelates were the main reasons for the existence of ultra-low friction coefficient and low wear. In addition, when there were polar molecules in the lubricant, they were adsorbed on the metal surface through tribochemical reactions, resulting in many irregular pits on the surface.

Capturing and utilizing CO_(2)from the production process is the key to solving the excessive CO_(2)emission problem. CO_(2)hydrogenation with green hydrogen to produce olefins is an effective and promising way to utilize CO_(2)and produce valuable chemicals. The olefins can be produced by CO_(2)hydrogenation through two routes, i.e., CO_(2)-FTS (carbon dioxide Fischer- Tropsch synthesis) and MeOH (methanol-mediated), among which CO_(2)-FTS has significant advantages over MeOH in practical applications due to its relatively high CO_(2)conversion and low energy consumption potentials. However, the CO_(2)-FTS faces challenges of difficult CO_(2)activation and low olefins selectivity. Iron-based catalysts are promising for CO_(2)-FTS due to their dual functionality of catalyzing RWGS and CO-FTS reactions. This review summarizes the recent progress on iron-based catalysts for CO_(2)hydrogenation via the FTS route and analyzes the catalyst optimization from the perspectives of additives, active sites, and reaction mechanisms. Furthermore, we also outline principles and challenges for rational design of high-performance CO_(2)-FTS catalysts.

Microplastics(MPs;natural *** in terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems alter the growth and functional characteristics of ***,little attention has been given to the possible harm associated with MPs deposited in snow,particularly in the context of global climate *** collected from surface snow in the Inner Mongolia Plateau,china,were used for quantitative analysis and *** results showed that MPs were easily detected,and the related concentration was approximately(68±10)–(199±22)MPsL1 in snow *** were the most common morphology,the polymer composition was largely varied,and the abundance and composition of MPs were linked to human activity to a great ***-throughput sequencing results showed that the composition and abundance of microorganisms also differed in snow samples from areas with different MP pollution characteristics,indicating a considerable difference in microbial functional *** may have an interference effect on the individual growth and functional expression of microorganisms in *** addition,the results showed that functional living areas(e.g.,landfills and suburban areas)in cities play an important role in the properties of *** instance,the highest abundance of MPs was found in thermal power plants,whereas the abundance of polymers per sample was significantly lower in the suburban *** MP contaminants hidden in snow can alter microbial structure and function and are therefore a potential threat to ecosystem health.

Corrosion of reinforcement induced by chloride invasion is extensively considered as the dominating deterioration mechanism of reinforced concrete(RC)structures,leading to serious safety hazards and tremendous economic ***,it still lacks well dispersive and cost-efficient nanomaterials to improve the anti-chloride-corrosion ability of RC ***,specific carbon dots(CDs)with high dispersity and low cost are deliberately designed,successfully prepared by hydrothermal processing,and then firstly applied to immensely enhance chloride binding performance of cement,thereby contributing to suppressing the corrosion of ***,the tailored CDs are composed of the carbon core with highly crystalline sp^(2)C structures and oxygen-containing groups connecting on the carbon core;The typical equilibrium test confirms that with respect to that of the blank cement paste,the chloride binding capacity of cement paste involving 0.2 wt%(by weight of cement)CDs is increased by 109% after 14-day exposure to 3 mol/L Na Cl solution;according to comprehensive analyses of phase compositions,the chloride binding mechanism of CDs-modified cement is rationally attributed to the fact that the incorporation of CDs advances the formation of calcium silicate hydrate(C-S-H)gels and Friedel's salt(Fs),thus enormously enhancing the physically adsorbed and chemically bound chloride ions of cement *** work not only firstly provides a novel high-dispersity and low-cost nanomaterial toward the durability enhancement of RC structures,but also broadens the application of CDs in the field of engineering,conducing to stimulating their industrialization development.

One-third of patients with autoimmune hepatitis(AIH)have cirrhosis at the time of *** relevance of these variables,although unknown,is believed to be critical in AIH because of suspected interactions between the gut microbiome and genetic *** of the gut flora and elevated polymeric immunoglobulin receptor(pIgR)levels have been observed in both patients and mouse ***,there is a direct relationship between pIgR expression and transaminase levels in patients with *** this study,we aimed to explore how pIgR influences the secretion of regenerating islet-derived 3 beta(Reg3b)and the flora composition in AIH using in vivo experiments involving patients with AIH and a concanavalin A-induced mouse model of ***3b expression was reduced in pIgR gene(Pigr)-knockout mice compared to that in wild-type mice,leading to increased microbiota ***,exogenous pIgR supplementation increased Reg3b expression and maintained microbiota *** sequencing revealed the participation of the interleukin(IL)-17 signaling pathway in the regulation of Reg3b through ***,the introduction of external pIgR could not restore the imbalance in gut microbiota in AIH,and the decrease in Reg3b expression was not apparent following the inhibition of signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(STAT3).In this study,pIgR facilitated the upregulation of Reg3b via the STAT3 pathway,which plays a crucial role in preserving the balance of the intestinal microbiota in *** this research,we discovered new molecular targets that can be used for the diagnosis and treatment of AIH.

Polarization is crucial in various fields such as imaging,sensing,and substance detection.A compact,fast,and accurate polarization detection device is vital for these ***,we demonstrate a multifocus metalens for terahertz polarization detection that requires only a single measurement to obtain complete polarization parameters and reconstruct the polarization state of the incident *** individual subarrays of this metalens convert each of the six polarized components into the same polarization,which in turn links the Stokes parameters to these six *** incident linear polarizations and elliptical polarizations are characterized by Stokes parameters and polarization *** and experimental results show that the scheme can accurately detect the incident polarization with a single *** proposed metasurface polarimetry may find applications in the fields of real-time terahertz detection and integrated optics.
