Controllable coating NiAl-layered double hydroxides on carbon nanofibers as anticorrosive microwave absorbers

For harsh real-world service settings,it is essential to build corrosion-resistant,diverse,and effective microwave ***,we successfully prepared a 3D NiAl-layered double hydroxide/carbon nanofibers(NiAl-LDH/CNFs)composite material as an anticorrosive microwave absorber assisted by an atomic layer deposition(ALD)*** size,coating thickness,and content of NiAl-LDH can be readily adjusted by changing the ALD cycling *** optimized NiAl-LDH/CNFs demonstrates prominent microwave absorbing properties including the strongest reflection loss of–55.65 dB and the widest effective absorption bandwidth of 4.80 GHz with only 15 wt%*** reasons for performance improvement are the cooperative effect of interfacial polarization loss,conduction loss,and three-dimensional porous ***,due to the synergistic effects between the excellent impermeability of CNFs and the trapping ability of NiAl-LDH for chloride ions,NiAl-LDH/CNFs exhibits strong corrosion resistances under acidic,neutral,and alkaline ***-LDH/CNFs should be a potential candidate to simultaneously use for microwave absorption and corrosion resistance,and this work provides a certain guiding significance for designing microwave absorbers that satisfy the corrosion resistance.

Sulfide-based solid-state electrolytes (SSEs) with high Li+ conductivity (δLi^(+)) and trifling grain boundaries have great potential for all-solid-state lithium-metal batteries (ASSLMBs). Nonetheless, the in-situ development of mixed ionic-electronic conducting solid-electrolyte interphase (SEI) at sulfide electrolyte/Li-metal anode interface induces uneven Li electrodeposition, which causes Li-dendrites and void formation, significantly severely deteriorating ASSLMBs. Herein, we propose a dual anionic, e.g., F and N, doping strategy to Li7P3S11, tuning its composition in conjunction with the chemistry of SEI. Therefore, novel Li_(6.58)P_(2.76)N_(0.03)S_(10.12)F_(0.05) glass-ceramic electrolyte (Li_(7)P_(3)S_(11-5)LiF-3Li_(3)N-gce) achieved superior ionic (4.33 mS·cm^(−1)) and lowest electronic conductivity of 4.33 × 10^(−10) S·cm^(−1) and thus, offered superior critical current density of 0.90 mA·cm^(−2) (2.5 times >Li7P3S11) at room temperature (RT). Notably, Li//Li cell with Li6.58P2.76N0.03S10.12F0.05-gce cycled stably over 1000 and 600 h at 0.2 and 0.3 mA·cm^(−2) credited to robust and highly conductive SEI (in-situ) enriched with LiF and Li3N species. Li3N’s wettability renders SEI to be highly Li+ conductive, ensures an intimate interfacial contact, blocks reductive reactions, prevents Li-dendrites and facilitates fast Li+ kinetics. Consequently, LiNi0.8Co0.15Al0.05O_(2) (NCA)/Li_(6.58)P_(2.76)N_(0.03)S_(10.12)F_(0.05)-gce/Li cell exhibited an outstanding first reversible capacity of 200.8/240.1 mAh·g^(−1) with 83.67% Coulombic efficiency, retained 85.11% of its original reversible capacity at 0.3 mA·cm^(−2) over 165 cycles at RT.

The emerging SiP2with large capacity and suitable plateau is proposed to be the alternative anode for Li-ion ***,typical SiP2still suffers from serious volume expansion and structural destruction,resulting in much Li-consumption and capacity ***,a novel stretchable and conductive Li-PAA@PEDOT:PSS binder is rationally designed to improve the cyclability and reversibility of ***,such Li-PAA@PEDOT:PSS hydrogel enables a better accommodation of volume expansion than PVDF binder(e.g.5.94% vs.68.73% of expansivity).More specially,the SiP2electrode with LiPAA@PEDOT:PSS binder is surprisingly found to enable unexpected structural recombination and selfhealing Li-storage processes,endowing itself with a high initial Coulombic efficiency(ICE) up to 93.8%,much higher than PVDF binder(ICE=70.7%) as *** unusual phenomena are investigated in detail for Li-PAA@PEDOT:PSS,and the possible mechanism shows that its Li-PAA component enables to prevent the pulverization of SiP2nanoparticles while the PEDOT:PSS greatly bridges fast electronic connection for the whole ***,after being further composited with carbon matrix,the SiP2/C with LiPAA@PEDOT:PSS hydrogel exhibits high reversibility(ICE> 93%),superior cyclability(>450 cycles),and rate capability(1520 mAh/g at 2000 mA/g) for *** highly stretchable and conductive binder design can be easily extended to other alloying materials toward advanced energy storage.

Plant thioglucosidases are the only known S-glycosidases in the large superfamily of glycosidases. These enzymes evolved more recently and are distributed mainly in Brassicales. Thioglucosidase research has focused mainly on the cruciferous crops due to their economic importance and cancer preventive benefits. In this study, we cloned a novel myrosinase gene, CpTGG1, from Carica papaya Linnaeus. and showed that it was expressed in the aboveground tissues in planta. The recombinant CpTGG1 expressed in Pichia pastoris catalyzed the hydrolysis of both sinigrin and glucotropaeolin （the only thioglucoside present in papaya）, showing that CpTGG1 was indeed a functional myrosinase gene. Sequence alignment analysis indicated that CpTGG1 contained all the motifs conserved in functional myrosinases from crucifers, except for two aglycon-binding motifs, suggesting substrate priority varia- tion of the non-cruciferous myrosinases. Using sinigrin as substrate, the apparent Km and Vmax values of recombinant CpTGG1 were 2.82 mM and 59.9 μmoI min-1 mg protein-1, respectively. The KcatlKm value was 23 s-1 mM-1, O-β-glucosidase activity towards a variety of substrates were tested, CpTGG1 displayed substrate-dependent and ascorbic acid-independent O-β-glucosidase activity towards 2-nitrophenyl-β- D-glucopyranoside and 4-nitrophenyl-β-D-glucopyranoside, but was inactive towards glucovanillin and n-octyl-β-D-glucopyranoside. Phylogenetic analysis indicated CpTGG1 belongs to the MYR II subfamily of myrosinases.

A Robust Zero-Watermarking Based on SIFT-DCT for Medical Images in the Encrypted Domain

Remote medical diagnosis can be realized by using the Internet,but when transmitting medical images of patients through the Internet,personal information of patients may be *** at the security of medical information system and the protection of medical images,a novel robust zero-watermarking based on SIFT-DCT(Scale Invariant Feature Transform-Discrete Cosine Transform)for medical images in the encrypted domain is ***,the original medical image is encrypted in transform domain based on Logistic chaotic sequence to enhance the concealment of original medical ***,the SIFT-DCT is used to extract the feature sequences of encrypted medical ***,zero-watermarking technology is used to ensure that the region of interest of medical images are not ***,the robust of the algorithm is evaluated by the correlation coefficient between the original watermark and the attacked watermark.A series of attack experiments are carried out on this method,and the results show that the algorithm is not only secure,but also robust to both traditional and geometric attacks,especially in clipping attacks.

Anuran calls are usually species-specific and therefore valued as a tool for species identification. Call characteristics are a potential honest signal in sexual selection because they often reflect male body size. Polypedates megacephalus and P. mutus are two sympatric and morphologically similar tree frogs, but it remains unknown whether their calls are associated with body size. In this study, we compared call characteristics of these two species and investigated any potential relationships with body size. We found that P. megacephalus, males produced six call types which consisting of three distinct notes, while P. mutus males produced five types consisting of two types of notes. Dominant frequency, note duration, pulse duration, and call duration exhibited significant interspecific differences. In P. megacephalus, one note exhibited a dominant frequency that was negatively correlated with body mass, snout-vent length, head length, and head width. In P. mutus, the duration of one note type was positively correlated with body mass and head width. These differences in call characteristics may play an important role in interspecific recognition. Additionally, because interspecific acoustic variation reflects body size, calls may be relevant for sexual selection. Taken together, our results confirmed that calls are a valid tool for distinguishing between the two tree-frog species in the field.

Based on the theory of Klein-Gordon scalar field particles, the Hawking radiation of a higher- dimensional Kerr-anti-de Sitter black hole with one rotational parameter is investigated using the beyond semi-classical approximation method. The corrections of quantum tunnelling probability, Hawking temperature and Bekenstein-Hawking entropy are also included.

Objective:To evaluate the correlation of chronic periodontitis in tropical area and IFN- 7,IL-10 and IL-17 ***:One hundred and forty-eight patients and one hundred and thirty-two healthy control subjects were included in the *** parameters(*** and PD) and GCF levels of IFN- ***.—10 and IL-17 were measured at baseline,week 8,week 16 and week 24 after mechanical removal of dental ***- 7 and IL-10 were determined with EL1SA methods and IL-17 was determined with the cytometric bead ***:Removal of dental plaque resulted in improvement in all clinical ***,GCF IL-17 declined to control levels,while GCF IFN- 7 and IL-10 levels remained ***:The decline of GCF IL-17 levels in patients with resolution of periodontitis suggests that IL-17 is involved in the periodontal inflammatory process.
