The compositions of the secondary structures of protein in the human breast normal, hyperplasia, fibroadenoma and invasive ductal carcinoma tissues have been estimated from the Fourier self deconvolved spectra, the second derivative spectra and the curve-fitting analysis of the amide I bands in their spectra. Some parameters of the secondary structures of proteins in these 4 types of tissues are significantly different and located in separate ranges.
Since the musk deer distributed in the Dabie Mountains, Anhui was defined as Moschus moschiferus anhuiensis, its status has been disputed based on researches of morphology and ecology. This study further probed into its taxonomic status with principal components analysis (PCA) on skull measurements and mtDNA cytochrome b sequences (367 bp) analysis so as to clear its status. It is concluded that the figure and skull in Anhui musk deer are different from other species, and DNA divergence between it and other species is 6.24%-7.90%, which belongs to inter-specific difference. Thus, the study defines this musk deer as one distinct species, Moschus anhuiensis (Wang, Hu et al.)

In order to reveal the nature of deep crust fluids, the phase relations of NaCI-saturated solution at high temperatures and pressures in a hydrothermal diamond anvil cell (HDAC)are investigated. Salinity of the solutions observed is about 35%—50%. The temperatures for the observation range from 25 to 850℃ and the pressures from 1 atm to about 1 GPa. A supercritical single phase, liquid phase (L), vapor phase (V), solid phase (H), L + H, H + V + L and the near-critical phases L + V can be observed. A two-phase (L + V) immiscibility field for the NaCI solution has been discovered to lie in a wide range of temperatures and pressures:from 250( ± 3) to 721℃. Within this field there are two parts, where the upper high temperature part of the two-phase regions is very unstable in character. It is possible to observe a 'critical phenomenon'.
