The underlying mechanism of variety–water–nitrogen–stubble damage interactions on yield formation in ratoon rice with low stubble height under mechanized harvesting

Agronomic measures are the key to promote the sustainable development of ratoon rice by reducing the damage from mechanical crushing to the residual stubble of the main crop, thereby mitigating the impact on axillary bud sprouting and yield formation in ratoon rice. This study used widely recommended conventional rice Jiafuzhan and hybrid rice Yongyou 2640 as the test materials to conduct a four-factor block design field experiment in a greenhouse of the experimental farm of Fujian Agricultural and Forestry University, china from 2018 to *** treatments included fertilization and no fertilization, alternate wetting and drying irrigation and continuous water flooding irrigation, and plots with and without artificial crushing damage on the rice stubble. At the same time, a 13C stable isotope in-situ detection technology was used to fertilize the pot experiment. The results showed significant interactions among varieties, water management, nitrogen application and stubble *** to the long-term water flooding treatment, the treatment with sequential application of nitrogen fertilizer coupled with moderate field drought for root-vigor and tiller promotion before and after harvesting of the main crop, significantly improved the effective tillers from low position nodes. This in turn increased the effective panicles per plant and grains per panicle by reducing the influence of artificial crushing damage on rice stubble and achieving a high yield of the regenerated rice. Furthermore, the partitioning of 13C assimilates to the residual stubble and its axillary buds were significantly improved at the mature stage of the main crop, while the translocation rate to roots and rhizosphere soil was reduced at the later growth stage of ratooning season rice. This was triggered by the metabolism of hormones and polyamines at the stem base regulated by the interaction of water and fertilizer at this time. The grid-based multi-velocity field technique has become increasingly popular for simulating the Material Point Method(MPM)in contact ***,this traditional technique has some shortcomings,such as(1)early contact and contact penetration can occur when the contact conditions are unsuitable,and(2)the method is not available for contact problems involving rigid-nonrigid materials,which can cause numerical *** study presents a new hybrid contact approach for the MPM to address these limitations to simulate the soil and structure *** approach combines the advantages of point-point and point-segment contacts to implement contact detection,satisfying the impenetrability condition and smoothing the corner contact *** proposed approach is first validated through a disk test on an inclined ***,several typical cases,such as granular collapse,bearing capacity,and deformation of a flexible retaining wall,are simulated to demonstrate the robustness of the proposed approach compared with FEM or analytical ***,the proposed method is used to simulate the impact of sand flow on a deformable *** results show that the proposed contact approach can well describe the phenomenon of soil-structure interaction problems.

This paper focuses on the laminar flame instability of three high molecular weight n-alkanes,namely n-hexane,n-octane,and *** experiment was carried out in a constant volume combustion bomb to get the flame *** critical radius under different conditions was extracted using the image processing *** with the existing critical Peclet number theory,the dominant factors of flame instability under current conditions for three n-alkanes can be figured ***,the average cell size(equivalent cell radius,R_(cell))was extracted to provide quantitative analysis of the flame cellular structure,based on the method developed in this *** theoretical R_(cell)were also calculated and compared with the experimental results to validate the proposed method.

KHK-A promotes fructose-dependent colorectal cancer liver metastasis by facilitating the phosphorylation and translocation of PKM2

Excessive fructose diet is closely associated with colorectal cancer(CRC)***,fructose’s specific function and precise mechanism in colorectal cancer liver metastasis(CRLM)is rarely ***,this study reported that the fructose absorbed by primary colorectal cancer could accelerate CRLM,and the expression of KHK-A,not KHK-C,in liver metastasis was higher than in paired primary ***,KHK-A facilitated fructose-dependent CRLM in vitro and in vivo by phosphorylating PKM2 at ***2 phosphorylated by KHK-A inhibited its tetramer formation and pyruvic acid kinase activity but promoted the nuclear accumulation of *** and aerobic glycolysis activated by nuclear PKM2 enhance CRC cells’migration ability and anoikis resistance during CRLM ***-46 treatment,targeting the phosphorylation of PKM2,inhibited the pro-metastatic effect of ***,c-myc activated by nuclear PKM2 promotes alternative splicing of KHK-A,forming a positive feedback loop.

In situ meso-tetra(4-carboxyphenyl)porphyrin ligand substitution in Hf-MOF for enhanced catalytic activity and stability in photoredox reactions

Though there are numerous intrinsic merits of metal-organic frameworks(MOFs),low charge separation efficiency has imposed heavy restrictions on their photocatalytic ***,in situ porphyrin ligand substitution,as a strategy for improving the charge separation efficiency and increasing the amounts of active sites,has been designed and realized in a Hf-biphenyl dicarboxylic acid(BPDC)***,a size and geometry matched meso-tetra(4-carboxyphenyl)porphyrin(TCPP)ligand was selected and doped into Hf-BPDC MOF by forming coordinating bonds with Hf centers,forming dualligand Hf-BPDC-TCPP *** resultant Hf-BPDC-TCPP MOF showed significantly improved activity and chemical stability in the photocatalytic H_(2)generation(261μmol·g^(-1)·h^(-1))and tetracycline(TC)degradation reactions(95.8%),which was 48 and 1.47 folds higher than that of the Hf-BPDC *** and electrochemical studies revealed that the introduction of porphyrin ligand could generate a stronger internal electric field for boosting the charge separation and transfer,increase the specific surface area for providing more active sites,and narrow the band gap to enhance the visible light *** in situ ligand substitution method provides a promising approach to build a tunable platform for constructing high-performance MOF photocatalysts.

We investigate Rydberg |65D_(5/2)> → |66P_(3/2)> superradiance in dense ultracold cesium atoms,where the ground atoms are excited to |65D_(5/2)> Rydberg states via two-photon excitation in a standard magneto-optical *** superradiant spectrum of |65D_(5/2)> → |66P_(3/2)> is obtained using the state-selective field ionization *** observe its dynamic evolution process by varying the delay time of ionization field *** results show that the evolution process of |65D_(5/2)> →|66P_(3/2)> is much shorter than its radiation lifetime at room temperature,which verifies the superradiance *** dependence of the superradiance process on Rydberg atoms number N_(e) and principal quantum number n is *** results show that the superradiance becomes faster with increasing N_(e),while it is suppressed for stronger van der Waals(vdW) *** has potential applications in quantum technologies,and the Rydberg atom is an ideal medium for *** system is effective for studying the strong two-body interaction between Rydberg atoms.
