Effects of nanofiller and voltage stabilizer on partial discharge resistance of polypropylene/elastomer blends:A comparison study

This paper reports on the individual and synergistic influence mechanisms of nano-silica(SiO_(2))and voltage stabilizers on partial discharge(PD)resistance of polypropylene blended with ethylene-octene copolymer *** SiO_(2)nanoparticles and three types of voltage stabilizers,that is,benzoin,4,40-dimethoxybenzil,and 3-aminobenzoic acid are selected as fillers to prepare *** is initiated in a rod-to-plane electrode system with an alternating current voltage of 5 *** characteristics are captured with multi-sensors,and the erosion profile of the test sample is measured using a three-dimensional(3D)optical *** trap distribution is extracted with isothermal surface potential decay measurement to assist the analysis of PD eroding *** transform infrared spectrum,scanning electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction spectrum,and differential scanning calorimetry analysis are performed to reveal the change in material structures caused by the *** results indicate that the PD resistance of the blend can be improved by the addition of nano-SiO_(2)and voltage stabilizers individually and *** PD resistance of PO is increased by 71.2%at most in the sample with 3 wt%nano-SiO_(2)*** sample filled with SiO_(2)exhibits better PD resistance than that with the voltage stabilizer or co-added,which should be ascribed to the introduction of deep traps,the formation of the packaged layer,the suppression of oxygen diffusion of the nanofillers,and the good compatibility between additives and the polymer matrix.

With a wide range of applications in autonomous driving and robotics,semantic seg-mentation for large‐scale outdoor point clouds is a critical and challenging *** to the large number and irregular arrangement of point clouds,it is difficult to balance the efficiency and *** this paper,we propose LessNet,a lightweight and efficient voxel‐based method for LiDAR‐only semantic segmentation,taking advantage of cylin-drical partition and intra‐voxel feature ***,we use a cylindrical partition method to distribute the outdoor point clouds more evenly in *** better encode the voxel features,we adopt an intra‐voxel aggregation method without querying *** voxel features are further input into a lightweight and effective 3D U‐net to aggregate local features and dilate the receptive *** experiments prove the satisfied semantic segmentation performance and the improvement of each component in our proposed *** method is capable of processing more than one million point clouds at a time while retaining low latency and few ***,our method achieves comparable performance with state‐of‐the‐art approaches and out-performs all projection‐based methods on the SemanticKITTI benchmark.

Oil-paper insulation material is an essential component for oil-filled transformers,and polyimide(PI)insulation paper is a novel material in the field of *** improvement of insulation class for insulation paper has gained significant attention in recent *** this study,SiO_(2)nanoparticles were modified with a silane coupling agent(KH550),and the KH550-SiO_(2)was added to the fibre membrane through in situ *** chemical composition and microcosmic characteristics of the PI porous fibre membrane were characterised using FT-IR and SEM FT-IR and ***-quently,the dielectric constant of the composite paper was reduced to 2.3 upon adding 3 wt%of KH550-SiO_(2),and the dielectric strength reached its maximum value of 85 kV/*** results demonstrate that the insulation performance of the KH550-SiO_(2)/PI composite was significantly improved due to the incorporation of nano-SiO_(2).This establishes an efficient approach for achieving excellent electrical and thermal properties in practical applications using the KH550-SiO_(2)/PI fibre membrane.

Currently,the major challenge in terms of research on K-ion batteries is to ensure that they possess satisfactory cycle stability and specific capacity,especially in terms of the intrinsically sluggish kinetics induced by the large radius of K+***,we explore high-performance K-ion half/full batteries with high rate capability,high specific capacity,and extremely durable cycle stability based on carbon nanosheets with tailored N dopants,which can alleviate the change of volume,increase electronic conductivity,and enhance the K+ion *** as-assembled K-ion half-batteries show an excellent rate capability of 468 mA h g^(−1) at 100 mA g^(−1),which is superior to those of most carbon materials reported to ***,the as-assembled half-cells have an outstanding life span,running 40,000 cycles over 8 months with a specific capacity retention of 100%at a high current density of 2000 mA g^(−1),and the target full cells deliver a high reversible specific capacity of 146 mA h g^(−1) after 2000 cycles over 2 months,with a specific capacity retention of 113%at a high current density of 500 mA g^(−1),both of which are state of the art in the field of K-ion *** study might provide some insights into and potential avenues for exploration of advanced K-ion batteries with durable stability for practical applications.

Flexible and all-solid-state zinc-air batteries(ZABs)are highly useful and also in demand due to their theoretical high energy densities and special *** limitation in their performance arises due to their catalyst-coated cathode electrodes in terms of catalytic activity and stability as well as *** this paper,a novel and environmentally friendly activation strategy is developed to activate the carbon cloth(CC)for the *** activated CC serves as a catalyst-free air cathode with high conductivity,excellent mechanical strength,and flexibility,in addition to low *** strategy is performed by simply electro-oxidizing and electroreducing CC under ultrahigh direct current(DC)voltage in a diluted NH4Cl aqueous *** is found that the electro-oxidation not only results in the formation of a graphene-like exfoliated carbon layer on the surface of CC but also induces the incorporation of oxygen-containing groups and doping of nitrogen and chloride *** the electroreduction,theπ-conjugated carbon network of CC is partially restored,leading to the recovery of *** an electroactivated CC shows excellent oxygen reduction reaction *** aqueous flexibility and all-solid-state ZABs are assembled using such an electroactivated CC cathode without any catalyst *** ZABs can achieve good durability and deliver high peak power density and an energy density as high as 690 Wh kg^(−1),demonstrating the excellent potential of this electroactivated CC in practical devices.

With the widespread application of composite insulators in transmission lines,exploring the accumulation mechanism of pollution particles on composite insulator surfaces is of importance to ensure the safe and steady operation of the power *** the current theoretical shortcomings,this study categorises the accumulation process of particles on the insulator surface into three stages,namely‘spatial motion’,‘surface collision’,and‘surface motion’.The motion and rotation velocities in a multi-physics field are calculated in the spatial motion *** the surface collision stage,a parameter called‘neck height’is introduced to determine the optimum mechanics theory,and the normal deposition criterion is *** the surface motion stage,the sliding displacement and rolling displacement on the surface are calculated based on the rotation speed of the particles.A dynamic pollution accumulation model of the composite insulator is estab-lished based on the normal deposition criterion and tangential ***,numerical simulations are performed by using the finite element *** results show that the proposed model agrees with the actual insulator pollution accu-mulation,and the deposition model is still applicable for various types of composite insulators operating in different applied *** deposition probability of particles increases with the increasing particle *** the surface motion stage,particle displacement increases with particle size and wind velocity.

The closed-loop wireless power transfer(WPT)system can realize constant voltage output in the presence of ***,the parameter design of the controller is a difficult *** traditional trial-and-error method is time-consuming and difficult to find optimal parameters.A parameter optimization strategy of control systems for uncertain WPT systems using the modified genetic algorithm(MGA)is ***,because the system has different characteristics at different periods,the simulation process is divided into three *** first one is the start-up stage,in which we mainly consider the overshoot and the rate of the voltage *** second one is the tracking stage,in which the tracking time and switching loss are mainly *** third one is the stabilisation stage,in which the steady-state error and switching loss are mainly ***,three cost functions are designed according to the characteristics of the three stages,and then the optimal controller parameters of each stage are obtained by using ***,the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by *** optimization results show that compared with the previous parameter optimization method,the optimal controller parameters obtained by the proposed method make the WPT system achieve better performance.
