This p.p.r.combines image p.ocessing with 3D magnetic tr.cking method to develop.a scalp.l for.hap.ic simulation in sur.ical cutting. Fir.t, a cutting p.r.meter.acquisition setup.is p.esented and the p.r.or.ance is validated fr.m soft tissue cutting. Then, based on the acquir.d inp.t-outp.t data p.ir., a method for.fuzzy system modeling is p.esented, that is, after.p.r.itioning each inp.t sp.ce equally and giving the p.emises and the total number.of fuzzy r.les, the consequent p.r.meter. and the fuzzy member.hip.functions (MF) of the inp.t var.ables ar. lear.ed and op.imized via a neur.fuzzy modeling technique. Finally, a hap.ic scalp.l imp.emented with the established cutting model is descr.bed. p.eliminar. r.sults show the feasibility of the hap.ic disp.ay system for.r.al-time inter.ction.

A r.bust stabilization p.oblem is consider.d for.time delay nonlinear.discr.te-time systems based on T-S fuzzy model. A necessar. and sufficient condition for.the existence of such contr.ller. is given thr.ugh Lyap.nov stability theor.m. And it is fur.her.shown that this condition is equivalent to the solvability of a cer.ain linear.matr.x inequality, which can be solved easily by using the LMI toolbox of Matlab. At last, an illustr.tive examp.e of tr.ck-tr.iler.is p.esented to show the feasibility and effectiveness of the p.op.sed method.

Ther. ar. many flow shop.p.oblems of thr.ughp.t (denoted by FSp.) with constr.ints of due date in r.al p.oduction p.anning and scheduling. In this p.p.r. a decomp.sition and coor.ination algor.thm is p.op.sed based on the analysis of FSp. and under.the sup.or. of TOC (theor. of constr.int). A flow shop.is at fir.t decomp.sed into two subsystems named p.LL and p.SH by means of bottleneck. Then the subsystem is decomp.sed into single machine scheduling p.oblems,so the or.ginal Np.HAr. p.oblem can be tr.nsfer.ed into a ser.al of single machine op.imization p.oblems finally. This method r.duces the comp.tational comp.exity, and has been used in a r.al p.oject successfully.

The p.op.sed ap.r.ach does not need the availability of the state var.ables, mor.over. a sup.r.isor. contr.ller.is ap.ended to the adap.ive fuzzy contr.ller.to for.e the state to be within the constr.int set. Ther.for., if the adap.ive fuzzy contr.ller.cannot maintain the stability, the sup.r.isor. contr.ller.star.s to wor. to guar.ntee stability. On the other.hand, if the adap.ive fuzzy contr.ller.wor.s well, the sup.r.isor. contr.ller.will be de-activated. The over.ll adap.ive fuzzy contr.l scheme guar.ntees the stability of the whole closed-loop.systems. The simulation r.sults confir. the effectiveness of the p.op.sed method.

It is p.oved that the algor.thm conver.es to the op.imal solution by stochastic ap.r.ximation ap.r.ach.

Imp.ementing a contr.l system over.a communication networ. induces inevitable time delays that may degr.de p.r.or.ance and even cause instability. One of the most effective ways to r.duce the negative effect of delays on the p.r.or.ance of networ.ed contr.l system (NCS) is to r.duce networ. tr.ffic. In this p.p.r. adjustable deadbands ar. exp.or.d as a solution to r.duce networ. tr.ffic in NCS. A method of fault-toler.nt contr.l of networ.ed contr.l system is p.esented, which takes into account system r.sp.nse as well as networ. tr.ffic. The integr.ty design for.a kind of NCS with sensor.failur.s and actuator.failur.s is analyzed based on r.bust fault-toler.nt contr.l theor. and infor.ation scheduling. After.detailed theor.tical analysis, the p.p.r.also p.ovides the simulation r.sults, which fur.her.validate the p.op.sed scheme.
