The full array of the Large high Altitude Air Shower Observatory(LHAASO)has been in operation since July *** its kilometer-square array(KM2A),we optimized the selection criteria for very high and ultrahigh energyγ-rays using data collected from August 2021 to August 2022,resulting in an improvement in significance of the detection in the Crab Nebula of approximately 15%,compared with that of previous *** the implementation of these new selection criteria,the angular resolution was also significantly improved by approximately 10%at tens of *** aspects of the full KM2A array performance,such as the pointing error,were also calibrated using the Crab *** resulting energy spectrum of the Crab Nebula in the energy range of 10-1000 TeV are well fitted by a log-parabola model,which is consistent with the previous results from LHAASO and other experiments.

Millimeter-wave transmission combined with Orbital Angular Momentum(OAM)has the advantage of reducing the loss of beam power and increasing the system ***,to fulfill this advantage,the antennas at the transmitter and receiver must be parallel and coaxial;otherwise,the accuracy of mode detection at the receiver can be seriously *** this paper,we design an OAM millimeter-wave communication system for overcoming the above ***,the first contribution is that the power distribution between different OAM modes and the capacity of the system with different mode sets are analytically derived for performance *** second contribution lies in that a novel mode selection scheme is proposed to reduce the total interference between different *** results show that system performance is less affected by the offset when the mode set with smaller modes or larger intervals is selected.

Failure mechanism and infrared radiation characteristic of hard siltstone induced by stratification effect

The deformation in sedimentary rock induced by train loads has potential threat to the safe operation of tunnels. This study investigated the influence of stratification structure on the infrared radiation and temporal damage mechanism of hard siltstone. The uniaxial compression tests, coupled with acoustic emission(AE) and infrared radiation temperature(IRT) were conducted on siltstones with different stratification effects. The results revealed that the stratigraphic structure significantly affects the stress-strain response and strength degradation characteristics. The mechanical parameters exhibit anisotropy characteristics, and the stratification effect exhibits a negative correlation with the cracking stress and peak stress. The failure modes caused by the stratification effect show remarkable anisotropic features, including splitting failure(Ⅰ: 0°-22.50°, Ⅱ: 90°), composite failure(45°), and shearing failure(67.50°). The AE temporal sequences demonstrate a stepwise response characteristic to the loading stress level. The AE intensity indicates that the stress sensitivity of shearing failure and composite failure is generally greater than that of splitting failure. The IRT field has spatiotemporal migration and progressive dissimilation with stress loading and its dissimilation degree increases under higher stress levels. The stronger the stratification effect, the greater the dissimilation degree of the IRT field. The abnormal characteristic points of average infrared radiation temperature(AIRT) variance at local stress drop and peak stress can be used as early and late precursors to identify fracture instability. Theoretical analysis shows that the competitive relationship between compaction strengthening and fracturing damage intensifies the dissimilation of the infrared thermal field for an increasing stress level. The present study provides a theoretical reference for disaster warnings in hard sedimentary rock mass.

Binder-induced ultrafast ■-intercalation toward a high-voltage,high-power and long-cycling zinc–graphite dual-ion battery

Metallic zinc is an ideal anode material owing to its high theoretical capacity (819 mAh·g-1),ecofriendliness,low cost and high safety,which have driven fast development of Zn-ion batteries （ZIBs）.However,the practical application of current ZIBs is significantly restricted by irregular dendrite growth of zinc anode and the low working voltage （usuallyhigh-voltage Zn-based dualion battery （DIB）,which is constructed by a graphite cathode,a Zn anode,and 3 M LiPF6in the ethyl methyl carbonate （EMC） *** the corrosion interaction of Li+ions,Zn2+can be easily dissolved from Zn anode into the electrolyte to enable dendrite-free Zn2+plating/stripping at the ***,an aqueous carboxymethyl cellulose （CMC） binder is employed to generate a robust cathode electrolyte interface （CEI） layer on the graphite cathode,which renders ultrafast PF6--de-/intercalation into *** resultant Zn–graphite DIB operates stably at a high cut off voltage of 3.2 V,corresponding to an average output voltage of 2.2 *** 9000cycles at 5C,the high capacity retention of 95.9% can be achieved with～100%Coulomb *** on the mass of cathode material,our Zn–graphite battery exhibits ultrafast rate capability （60 C,a discharge time of 44 s） and high energy/power densities (208 Wh·kg-1at 214 W·kg-1;142 Wh·kg-1at 8692 W·kg-1),which holds great promise for large-scale energy storage.

Energy recovery from low-strength wastewater through anaerobic methanogenesis is constrained by limited substrate *** development of efficient methanogenic communities is critical but *** we develop a strategy to acclimate methanogenic communities using conductive carrier(CC),electrical stress(ES),and Acid Orange 7(AO7)in a modified *** synergistic integration of CC,ES,and AO7 precipitated a remarkable 72-fold surge in methane production rate compared to the *** increase was attributed to an altered methanogenic community function,independent of the continuous presence of AO7 and ***7 acted as an external electron acceptor,accelerating acetogenesis from fermentation intermediates,restructuring the bacterial community,and enriching electroactive bacteria(EAB).Meanwhile,CC and ES orchestrated the assembly of the archaeal community and promoted electrotrophic methanogens,enhancing acetotrophic methanogenesis electron flow via a mechanism distinct from direct electrochemical *** collective application of CC,ES,and AO7 effectively mitigated electron flow impediments in low-strength wastewater methanogenesis,achieving an additional 34%electron recovery from the *** study proposes a new method of amending anaerobic digestion systems with conductive materials to advance wastewater treatment,sustainability,and energy self-sufficiency.

Fear extinction is a biological process in which learned fear behavior diminishes without anticipated reinforcement,allowing the organism to re-adapt to ever-changing *** on the behavioral hypothesis that extinction is new learning and forms an extinction memory,this new memory is more readily forgettable than the original fear *** brain’s cellular and synaptic traces underpinning this inherently fragile yet reinforceable extinction memory remain *** questions are about the whereabouts of the engram neurons that emerged during extinction learning and how they constitute a dynamically evolving functional construct that works in concert to store and express the extinction *** this review,we discuss recent advances in the engram circuits and their neural connectivity plasticity for fear extinction,aiming to establish a conceptual framework for understanding the dynamic competition between fear and extinction memories in adaptive control of conditioned fear responses.

In order to explore an efficient and green method to deal with nitrobenzene(NB)pollutant,reduced graphene oxide(r GO)as an electron shuttle was applied to enhance the extracellular electron transfer(EET)process of Geobacter sulfurreducens,which was a typical electrochemically active bacteria(EAB).In this study,r GO biosynthesis was achieved via the reduction of graphene oxide(GO)by *** PCA within 3 ***,the r GOPCA combining system completely reduced 50-200μmol/L of NB to aniline as end product within one *** characterization revealed that PCA cells were partly wrapped by rGO,and therefore the distance of electron transfer between strain PCA and r GO material was ***,the ID/IGof GO,r GO,and r GO-PCA combining system were 0.990,1.293 and 1.31,***,highest currents were observed in r GO-PCA-NB as 12.950μA/-12.560μA at -408 m V/156 m V,attributing to the faster electron transfer efficiency in EET ***,the NB reduction was mainly due to:(I)direct EET process from *** PCA to NB;(II)r GO served as electron shuttle and accelerated electron transfer to NB,which was the main degradation ***,the biosynthesis of r GO via GO reduction by Geobacter promoted the NB removal process,which provided a facile strategy to alleviate the problematic nitroaromatic pollution in the environment.

Combinatorial reasoning-based abnormal sensor recognition method for subsea production control system

The subsea production system is a vital equipment for offshore oil and gas production. The control system is one of the most important parts of it. Collecting and processing the signals of subsea sensors is the only way to judge whether the subsea production control system is normal. However, subsea sensors degrade rapidly due to harsh working environments and long service time. This leads to frequent false alarm incidents. A combinatorial reasoning-based abnormal sensor recognition method for subsea production control system is proposed. A combinatorial algorithm is proposed to group sensors. The long short-term memory network(LSTM) is used to establish a single inference model. A counting-based judging method is proposed to identify abnormal sensors. Field data from an offshore platform in the South china Sea is used to demonstrate the effect of the proposed method. The results show that the proposed method can identify the abnormal sensors effectively.

Leakages from subsea oil and gas equipment cause substantial economic losses and damage to marine ecosystem,so it is essential to locate the source of the ***,due to the complexity and variability of the marine environment,the signals collected by hydrophone contain a variety of noises,which makes it challenging to extract useful signals for *** solve this problem,a hydrophone denoising algorithm is proposed based on variational modal decomposition(VMD)with grey wolf ***,the average envelope entropy is used as the fitness function of the grey wolf optimizer to find the optimal solution for the parameters K andα.Afterward,the VMD algorithm decomposes the original signal parameters to obtain the intrinsic mode functions(IMFs).Subsequently,the number of interrelationships between each IMF and the original signal was calculated,the threshold value was set,and the noise signal was removed to calculate the time difference using the valid signal obtained by ***,the arrival time difference is used to locate the origin of the *** localization accuracy of the method in finding leaks is investigated experimentally by constructing a simulated leak test rig,and the effectiveness and feasibility of the method are verified.
