Bifunctional bridging capping layer enables 24.5%efficiency of perovskite solar cells with polymer-based hole transport materials

Developing a bridge capping layer between perovskite and hole transport layer materials(HTMs)in the n-i-p perovskite solar cells(pero-SCs)is an effective approach to modify the morphology of HTMs and passivate the perovskite ***,we select the quinoxaline-based bifunctional passivation agent,quinoxalin-6-yl-methylamine hydrochloride(Qx MACl),as the bridging layer,and a D-A copolymer PBQ12 containing the same quinoxaline unit as an HTM for the n-i-p *** to theπ-πstacking among the common quinoxaline units in the bridge layer and HTM,Qx MACl induces theπ-πstacking of the PBQ12 film and improves the film morphology of HTMs with better ***,Qx MACl can effectively passivate the perovskite surface,and PBQ12 possesses appropriate energy levels and high hole *** pero-SCs based on FAPbI_(3)with PBQ12/Qx MACl treatment showed a higher power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 24.05%and outstanding stability,maintaining 95.4%and 92.1%of its initial PCE after 750 h of storage and after over 800 h of thermal annealing at 85℃,*** further enhance the PCE of the PBQ12/Qx MACl-based devices,we developed a non-metal ion dopant for the PBQ12 *** trace doping of PBQ12 HTM by the non-metal ion dopant,the PCE of the PBQ12/Qx MACl-based devices reached 25.24%(the calibrated PCE of 24.55%by the National Institute of Metrology,china).

Effects of bamboo invasion on forest structures and diameter–height allometries

Forest structure is fundamental in determining ecosystem function,yet the impact of bamboo invasion on these structural characteristics remains *** investigated 219 invasion transects at 41 sites across the distribution areas of Moso bamboo(Phyllostachys edulis)in china to explore the effects of bamboo invasion on forest structural attributes and diameter–height allometries by comparing paired plots of bamboo,mixed bamboo-tree,and non-bamboo forests along the *** found that bamboo invasion decreased the mean and maximum diameter at breast height,maximum height,and total basal area,but increased the mean height,stem density,and scaling exponent for *** also had a higher scaling exponent than tree,particularly in mixed forests,suggesting a greater allocation of biomass to height *** invasion intensity increased,bamboo allometry became more plastic and decreased significantly,whereas tree allometry was indirectly promoted by increasing stem ***,a humid climate may favour the scaling exponents for both bamboo and tree,with only minor contributions from topsoil moisture and nitrogen *** inherent superiority of diameter–height allometry allows bamboo to outcompete tree and contributes to its invasive *** findings provide a theoretical basis for understanding the causes and consequences of bamboo invasion.

Experimental study on the buckling of composite cylinders with reinforced circular hole under hydrostatic pressure

In this paper,a type of reinforcing structure for composite shell with single and through hole is *** experimental tests for the composite shells without hole,with single hole and reinforced structure,with through hole and reinforced structure subjected to hydrostatic pressure were carried out by the designed experimental test *** mechanical responses of the composite shells under hydrostatic pressure are obtained by the high-speed camera and strain *** results show that the entire deformation process of the shell can be divided into three:uniform compression,"buckling mode formation"and ***"buckling mode formation"process is captured and reported for the first *** the composite shell with single hole,the proposed reinforcing structure has a significant reinforcement effect on the shell and the buckling capacity of the shell is not weaker than the complete composite *** the composite shell with through hole,sealing effect can be achieved by the proposed reinforcing structure,but the buckling capacity of the shell after reinforcement can only reach 77%of the original buckling capacity.

Formamidinium lead bromide(FAPbBr_(3))perovskite nanocrystals(NCs)are promising for display and lighting due to their ultra-pure green ***,the thermal quenching will exacerbate their performance degradation in practical applications,which is a common issue for halide ***,we reported the heat-resistant FAPbBr_(3)NCs prepared by a ligand-engineered room-temperature synthesis *** aromatic amine,specificallyβ-phenylethylamine(PEA)or 3-fluorophenylethylamine(3-F-PEA),was incoporated as the short-chain ligand to expedite the crystallization rate and control the size distribution of FAPbBr_(3)*** this ligand engineering approach,we synthesized high quality FAPbBr_(3)NCs with uniform grain size and reduced long-chain alkyl ligands,resulting in substantially suppressed thermal quenching and enhanced carrier transportation in the perovskite NCs *** notably,more than 90%of the room temperature PL intensity in the 3-F-PEA modified FAPbBr_(3)NCs film was preserved at 380 ***,we fabricated ultra-pure green EL devices with a room temperature external quantum efficiency(EQE)as high as 21.9%at the luminance of above 1,000 cd m^(-2),and demonstrated less than 10%loss in EQE at 343 *** study introduces a novel room temperature method to synthesize efficient FAPbBr_(3)NCs with exceptional thermal stability,paving the way for advanced optoelectronic device applications.

Decentralized Federated Learning Algorithm Under Adversary Eavesdropping

In this paper, we study the decentralized federated learning problem, which involves the collaborative training of a global model among multiple devices while ensuring data *** classical federated learning, the communication channel between the devices poses a potential risk of compromising private information. To reduce the risk of adversary eavesdropping in the communication channel, we propose TRADE(transmit difference weight) concept. This concept replaces the decentralized federated learning algorithm's transmitted weight parameters with differential weight parameters, enhancing the privacy data against eavesdropping. Subsequently, by integrating the TRADE concept with the primal-dual stochastic gradient descent(SGD)algorithm, we propose a decentralized TRADE primal-dual SGD algorithm. We demonstrate that our proposed algorithm's convergence properties are the same as those of the primal-dual SGD algorithm while providing enhanced privacy protection. We validate the algorithm's performance on fault diagnosis task using the Case Western Reserve University dataset, and image classification tasks using the CIFAR-10 and CIFAR-100 datasets,revealing model accuracy comparable to centralized federated learning. Additionally, the experiments confirm the algorithm's privacy protection capability.

Antenna Selection Method for Distributed Dual-Function Radar Communication in MIMO System

Distributed dual-function radar system is an emerging trend in next-generation wireless systems, offering the possibility of improved parameter estimation for target localization as well as improved communication performance. With sufficient resource allocation, the achievable minimum estimated mean square error(MSE) and maximum total communication rate of localization may exceed the intended performance metrics of the system, which may consume an excessive number of antennas as well as antenna costs. In order to avoid resource wastage, this paper proposes a distributed dual-function radar communication multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) system capable of performing radar and communication tasks simultaneously. The distributed system achieves the desired MSE performance metrics and communication performance metrics by efficiently selecting a subset of antennas, and minimizing the number of transmitting antennas and receiving antennas used in the system as well as the cost. In this paper, the problem is modeled as a knapsack problem where the objective is to obtain the maximal MSE performance and the maximal total communication rate performance at the lowest cost, for which we design a heuristic antenna selection algorithm. The designed algorithm is effective in reducing the time complexity as well as reducing the cost of antenna, and minimizing the number of antennas required.

Complex BSRs and differential gas hydrate accumulations in the northern South china Sea

Different types of bottom simulating reflectors (BSRs)， along complex morphologies of gas hydrates， have been revealed in the northern South china Sea. They occur in different tectonic-sedimentary settings. Fracture-filling and pore-filling gas hydrates are widely discovered above different types of BSRs by drillings and indicated by chimney-like or high amplitude reflections on seismic profiles. The existence of structure II gas hydrates， the coexistence of gas hydrates and free gas， the recently active gas hydrate systems， and the extensive distributed shallow gas are all due to the supply of thermogenic gas and relatively high flux of fluid migration. The pathways， such as faults， fractures， thrust faults， diapir and gas chimneys， which are formed by magmatism， intrusive structures， overpressure， or compressional tectonic forces， play important roles in vertical fluid migrations， particularly in areas where multi-stages mass transport deposits distributed. The differences in the tectonic-sedimentary settings are suggested to account for the shifts of the BSRs in the northern South china Sea. The tectonic activities control the development of fluid migration pathways， and the reservoir plays a crucial role in the accumulation of various types of gas hydrate. A comprehensive understanding of these differences in gas hydrate occurrences and their key geological controls can contribute to the exploration for gas hydrates in the future.
