Ionic liquids(ILs)hold great promise as highperformance electrolyte material due to their unique advantages including nonvolatility,high thermal stability and high ionic ***,the IL-based electrolytes always suffer from serious ion aggregation and high viscosity at low temperatures,leading to significantly decline in ionic ***,hydrogen-bonded organic framework-ionic liquid composite quasi-solid electrolyte(high temperature treatment(HT)-HOF-IL CQSE)was prepared through confining the IL electrolytes(ILEs)into the pore of HOF lamellar *** weak hydrogen bonding interactions within HOF nanosheets,together with the generated interactions between ILE and HOF,enable uniform and continuous distribution of ILE in HOF lamellar *** effectively inhibits the ion migration of ILE,which meanwhile serves as Li+transfer sites,affording high ionic conductivity of 5.7×10^(-5)S·cm-1 at-60 ℃,with high lithium-ion transference number of 0.69,whereas ILEs usually lose ionic conduction ability at such low *** assembled Li symmetrical cell can stably cycle at 0.2 mA·cm^(-2)and^(-2)0 ℃ for more than 1500 *** LiFePO_(4)|HT-HOF-IL CQSE|Li cell shows excellent cycling performance at 0.5 C at a wide temperature range of^(-2)0 to 60 ℃.This work may pave a new avenue for the development of high-performance IL-based composite electrolytes.

Lithium-sulfur （Li-S） batteries are widely deemed to be one of the most potential candidates for future secondary batteries because of their remarkable energy ***,notorious polysulfide shuttling and retarded sulfur reaction kinetics pose significant obstacles to the further application of Li-S *** rationally designed highly active electrocatalysts can facilitate polysulfide conversion,the universal and scalable synthesis strategies need to be ***,a universal synthetic strategy to construct a series of three-dimensional （3D） porous graphene-iron （3DGr-Fe） based electrocatalysts involving 3DGr-FeP,3DGr-Fe3C,and 3DGr-Fe3Se4is exploited for manipulating the Li-S redox *** has been observed that the implementation of a 3D porous Gr architecture leads to the well-designed conductive networks,while the uniformly dispersed iron nanoparticles introduce an abundance of active sites,fostering the lithium polysulfide conversion,thereby bolstering the overall electrochemical *** Li-S battery with the 3DGr-Fe based electrocatalyst exhibits remarkable capacity retention of 94.8%upon 100 times at 0.2 ***,the soft-packaged Li-S pouch cell based on such a 3DGr-Fe electrocatalyst delivers superior capacity of 1060.71 mA h g-1and guarantees for the continuous 30 min work of fan *** investigation gives comprehensive insights into the design,synthesis,and mechanism of 3DGr-Fe based electrocatalysts with high activity toward efficient and durable Li-S batteries.

Study of oxidization of coal–pitch by O_3

For the purpose of obtaining small molecular and oxygen-containing aromatic compounds, taking a toluene-extracted coal pitch as the research object, the oxidation of coal-pitch by ozone （03） in formic acid was studied. The coal-pitch sample and the oxidized pitch residue were characterized by elementary analysis and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy （FTIR）, while the small molecular products were analyzed by a gas chromatography-mass spectrometer （GC-MS）. The results show that the highest oxygen content of oxidized coal pitch had been acquired at a reaction temperature of 50℃C, an 03 flow rate of 6300 mg/h and a reaction time of 4 h. Quite a lot of hydroxyls and carbonyls were introduced into the structure of the oxidized coal-pitch, while the small molecules produced mainly involve nonpolar aro- matic compounds, aromatic anhydride and quinone compounds. It is speculated that the mechanism is direct electrophilic oxidation in which the molecules of 03 directly attack the aromatic ring at its carbon atoms with high electron density, and then generate hydroxyl or carbonyl until the aromatic ring cracks. This study shows that 03 can make the fused aromatic ring of coal-pitch become oxidized and depoly- merized, and hence the ozonization of coal-pitch can be a potential method for obtaining oxygen- containing aromatic compounds.

Electroactive anticorrosion coatings are specialized surface treatments that prevent or minimize corrosion. Thestudy employs strategic thermodynamic equilibriumcalculations to pioneer a novel factor in corrosion protection.A first-time proposal, the total acidity (TA) potential of the hydrogen (pH) concept significantly shapes medicalmagnesium alloys. These coatings are meticulously designed for robust corrosion resistance, blending theoreticalinsights and practical applications to enhance our grasp of corrosion prevention mechanisms and establisha systematic approach to coating design. The groundbreaking significance of this study lies in its innovativeintegration of the TA/pH concept,which encompasses the TA/pH ratio of the chemical environment. This approachsurpasses convention by acknowledging the intricate interplay between the acidity and pH levels within thecoating formulation, thereby optimizing metal-phosphate-based conversion coatings and transforming corrosionmitigation strategies. To authenticate the TA/pH concept, the study comprehensively compares its findings withexisting research, rigorously validating the theoretical framework and reinforcing the correlates among TA/pHvalues and observed corrosion resistance in the coatings. The influence of mutations that occur naturally inthe detergent solution on persistent phosphorus changes is shown by empirical confirmation, which improvescorrosion resistance. This realization advances the field ofmaterials and the field’s knowledge of coated generation,particularly anticorrosion converter layers.

To obtain the adjustable photonic crystals (PCs), we numerically investigate one-dimensional (1D) PCs with alternating VO2 and SiO2 layers through transfer matrix method. The dispersion relation agrees well with the transmittance obtained by the finite element calculation. Tunable band gaps are achieved with the thermal stimuli of VO2, which has two crystal structures. The monoclinic crystal structure VO2 (R) at low temperature exhibits insulating property, and the high temperature square rutile structure VO2 (M) presents metal state. Concretely, the bandwidth is getting narrower and red shift occurs with the higher temperature in VO2 (R)/SiO2 PCs structure. Based on the phase change characteristics of VO2, we can flexibly adjust the original structure as VO2 (R)/VO2 (M)/SiO2. By increasing the phase ratio of VO2 (R) to VO2 (M), the band gap width gradually becomes wider and blue shift occurs. The discrete layers of gradient composites on the dispersion of 1D PCs are also investigated, which enhances the feasibility in practical operation. Thus, our proposed thermal modulation PCs structure paves a new way to realize thermal tunable optical filters and sensors.

The perovskite La0.8Sr0.2Ga0.83Mg0.17O2.815 (LSGM) fuel cell electrolyte was prepared by a polymeric method using poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA). The LSGM precursor powder was examined by thermogravimetric and differential thermal analysis (TG/DTA) and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. It was found that thermal decomposition of the LSGM precursor powder occurs in a number of different stages, and complete decomposition of the precursor is obtained at 1000 degrees C X-ray diffraction (XRD) showed that calcined powder contains three secondary phases, namely La4Ga2O9, LaSrGa3O7, and LaSrGaO4, even after calcination at 1100 degrees C Furthermore, the fraction of secondary phases decreases with increasing calcination temperature. Single phase perovskite LSGM pellets with a relative density of 97% were obtained after sintering at 1450 degrees C for 10 h. It was therefore shown that the powder prepared by the simple PVA method is fine, highly reactive, and sinterable. The electrical properties of LSGM pellets were characterised by impedance spectroscopy. The conductivity of the LSGM pellets sintered at 1450 degrees C for 10 h was 8.24x10(-2) S/cm at 800 degrees C.

Electrospun nanofibers with highly efficient photothermal/electrothermal performance are extremely popular because of their great potential in wearable ***,the lack of necessary wearable properties such as high mechanical strength and quick response of electrospun micro/nanofibers seriously affects their practical *** this work,a technical route combining electrospinning and surface modification technology is *** 3-triethoxysilylpropylamine-polyacrylonitrile@copper sulfide(K-PAN@CuS)composite fabric was achieved by modifying the original electrospinning PAN fiber and subsequently loading CuS *** results show that the break strength of the K-PAN@CuS fabric was increased by 10 times compared to that of the original PAN@CuS ***,the saturated temperature of the K-PAN@CuS fabric heater could reach 116℃within 15 s at a relatively low voltage of 3 V and 120.3℃within 10 s under an infrared therapy lamp(100 W).In addition,due to its excellent conductivity,such a unique structural design enables the fiber to be closely attached to the human skin and helps to monitor human *** K-PAN@CuS fabric shows great potential in wearable heaters,hyperthermia,all-weather thermal management,and in vitro physical therapy.

A travel ing magnetic field, a power ultrasonic field, and a compound field were used separately during the horizontal continuous casting process of Al-1wt.%Si al oy. The samples obtained were characterized using an optical microscope, a scanning electron microscope, a tensile testing machine, and an electron probe microscopic analyzer to test the microstructures, properties, and element distribution of the samples. The results show that the application of a single ifeld can enhance the mechanical properties and reduce the segregation of Si element in Al-1wt.%Si alloy to some extent. The application of a compound field can obtain the best reifnement and homogeneity of the Si element in the al oy, leading to the highest increase of tensile strength and elongation among the three applied ifelds. The mechanism of the action of external ifelds on the reifnement of microstructures and homogeneity of the Si element is discussed and the compound ifeld is considered to be an effective method to achieve high quality Al alloys.

Ellipsoidal particles flowing in the hopper were simulated by using the discrete element method （DEM）, and described by the multi-element method. The contact detection algorithm and equations for ellipsoidal particle motion in hopper were developed. And the simulation results were confirmed by experiment. Additionally, the mass flow rate, pressure distribution and velocity distribu- tion of two kinds of particles were examined. The results show that the mass flow rate of ellipsoidal particles is smaller than that of spherical particles. There is a maximum value of pressure drop at the top of the junction. Besides, the pressure drop decreases with the discharging time increasing. The velocity of spherical particle is larger than that of ellipsoidal.

The consensus protocol is one of the core technologies in blockchain,which plays a crucial role in ensuring the block generation rate,consistency,and safety of the blockchain *** systems mainly adopt the Byzantine Fault Tolerance(BFT)protocol,which often suffers fromslow consensus speed and high communication consumption to prevent Byzantine nodes from disrupting the *** this paper,this paper proposes a new dual-mode consensus protocol based on node identity *** divides the consensus process into two subprotocols:Check_BFT and Fast_*** Check_BFT,the replicas authenticate the primary’s identity by monitoring its ***,assume that the systemis in a pessimistic environment,Check_BFT protocol detects whether the current environment is safe and whether the primary is an honest node;Enter the fast consensus stage after confirming the environmental safety,and implement Fast_BFT *** is assumed that there are 3f+1 nodes in *** more than 2f+1 nodes identify that the primary is honest,it will enter the Fast_BFT *** Fast_BFT,the primary is allowed to handle transactions alone,and the replicas can only receive the messages sent by the *** experimental results show that the CF-BFT protocol significantly reduces the communication overhead and improves the throughput and scalability of the consensus *** with the SAZyzz protocol,the throughput is increased by 3 times in the best case and 60%in the worst case.
