This article considers delay dependent decentralized H∞ filtering for a class of uncertain interconnected systems, where the uncertainties are assumed to be time varying and satisfy the norm-bounded conditions. First, combining the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional approach and the delay integral inequality of matrices, a sufficient condition of the existence of the robust decentralized H∞ filter is derived, which makes the error systems asymptotically stable and satisfies the H∞ norm of the transfer function from noise input to error output less than the specified up-bound on the basis of the form of uncertainties. Then, the above sufficient condition is transformed to a system of easily solvable LMIs via a series of equivalent transformation. Finally, the numerical simulation shows the efficiency of the main results.

In this study,we systematically investigate the proton radioactivity half-lives of 33 spherical nuclei based on the relationship between Skyrme parameters and the macroscopic quantities of nuclear matter.Using the two-potential approach with the spherical Skyrme-Hartree-Fock model,the correlation between proton radioactivity half-life and the macroscopic quantities is analyzed.Moreover,we obtain a new Skyrme parameter set by fitting the two most weighted macroscopic quantities.Compared with the Skyrme parameters MSLO and the theoretical model of proton radioactivity UDLP,the theoretical proton radioactivity half-life calculated using the new Skyrme parameter set can better reproduce the experimental data.

To determine the optimal or near optimal parameters of PID controller with incomplete derivation, a novel design method based on differential evolution （DE） algorithm is presented. The controller is called DE-PID controller. To overcome the disadvantages of the integral performance criteria in the frequency domain such as IAE, ISE, and ITSE, a new performance criterion in the time domain is proposed. The optimization procedures employing the DE algorithm to search the optimal or near optimal PID controller parameters of a control system are demonstrated in detail. Three typical control systems are chosen to test and evaluate the adaptation and robustness of the proposed DE-PID controller. The simulation results show that the proposed approach has superior features of easy implementation, stable convergence characteristic, and good computational efficiency. Compared with the ZN, GA, and ASA, the proposed design method is indeed more efficient and robust in improving the step response of a control system.

Defects in the endothelial cell barrier accompany diverse malfunctions of the central nervous system such as neurodegenerative diseases,stroke,traumatic brain injury,and systemic diseases such as sepsis,viral and bacterial infections,and cancer.Compromised endothelial sealing leads to leaking blood vessels,followed by vasogenic edema.Brain edema as the most common complication caused by stroke and traumatic brain injury is the leading cause of death.Brain microvascular endothelial cells,together with astrocytes,pericytes,microglia,and neurons form a selective barrier,the so-called blood-brain barrier,which regulates the movement of molecules inside and outside of the brain.Mechanisms that regulate blood-brain barrier permeability in health and disease are complex and not fully understood.Several newly discovered molecules that are involved in the regulation of cellular processes in brain microvascular endothelial cells have been described in the literature in recent years.One of these molecules that are highly expressed in brain microvascular endothelial cells is protocadherin gamma C3.In this review,we discuss recent evidence that protocadherin gamma C3 is a newly identified key player involved in the regulation of vascular barrier function.

A pot experiment was conducted to study the effect of an anionic surfactant linear alkylbenzene sulfonate(LAS) application on cadmium(Cd)fractions in soils and Cd distribution in different tissues of soybean(Glycine max)plants as well as soil pH.Soil samples were treated with three levels of Cd(0,5,and 10 mg kg^(-1))and five levels of LAS(0,5, 15,50,and 100 mg L^(-1)).Results indicated that compared to the control soils(no Cd and no LAS treatment),soil pH increased and available Cd decreased in the soil treated with external Cd and watered with LAS solutions.Meanwhile, soil exchangeable Cd and Cd bound to carbonates decreased;Cd bound to amorphous iron and manganese oxides and Cd bound to organic matter increased.In addition,LAS application could reduce enrichment of Cd in soybean plants, resulting in decreased Cd in the soybean plants.Thus,suitable LAS application could decrease bioavailability and mobility of soil Cd.

Impact of pre-oxidation on the formation of byproducts in algae-laden water disinfection:Insights from fluorescent and molecular weight

Pre-oxidation has been reported to be an effective way to remove algal cells in water, but the released algal organic matter (AOM) could be oxidized and lead to the increment in disinfection by-product (DBP) formation. The relationship between pre-oxidation and AOM-derived DBP formation needs to be approached more precisely. This study compared the impact of four pre-oxidants, ozone (O), chlorine dioxide (ClO), potassium permanganate(KMnO) and sodium hypochlorite (NaClO), on the formation of nitrogenous (N-) and carbonaceous (C-) DBPs in AOM chlorination. The characterization (fluorescent properties,molecular weight distribution and amino acids concentration) on AOM samples showed that the characterization properties variations after pre-oxidation were highly dependent on the oxidizing ability of oxidants. The disinfection experiments showed that Oincreased DBP formation most significantly, which was consistent with the result of characterization properties variations. Then canonical correspondent analysis (CCA) and Pearson’s correlation analysis were conducted based on the characterization data and DBP formation. CCA indicated that C-DBPs formation was highly dependent on fluorescent data. The formation of haloacetic acids (HAAs) had a positive correlation with aromatic protein-like component while trichloromethane (TCM) had a positive correlation with fulvic acid-like component.Pearson’s correlation analysis showed that low molecular weight fractions were favorable to form N-DBPs. Therefore, characterization data could provide the advantages in the control of DBP formation, which further revealed that KMnOand ClOwere better options for removing algal cells as well as limiting DBP formation.

In the minimum degree vertex deletion problem,we are given a graph,a distinguished vertex in the graph,and an integer κ,and the question is whether we can delete at most κ vertices from the graph so that the distinguished vertex has the unique minimum degree.The maximum degree vertex deletion problem is defined analogously but here we want the distinguished vertex to have the unique maximum degree.It is known that both problems areΨ-hard and fixed-parameter intractable with respect to some natural parameters.In this paper,we study the(parameterized)complexity of these two problems restricted to split graphs,p-degenerate graphs,and planar graphs.Our study provides a comprehensive complexity landscape of the two problems restricted to these special graphs.

开发具有宽温度范围、无枝晶生长和耐腐蚀的电解质对于水系金属锌电池的实际应用至关重要.本研究开发了一种γ-戊内酯共溶剂,以扩大水系电解质的工作温度范围并稳定锌金属阳极的界面.这种弱溶剂作为强氢键配体和“稀释剂”,高效地打破了自由水分子之间的氢键,从而提高了电解液的温度耐受性和化学稳定性.同时,γ-戊内酯也可以吸附在阳极表面从而促进锌的成核和调节锌的生长织构,实现无枝晶的锌沉积.这种优化后的电解质可以使对称电池的寿命达到2160 h,并可以在-50~80℃的宽温度范围内稳定运行.相应的ZnⅡ活性炭电容器和ZnⅡ聚苯胺电池在8100和1600次循环后,容量保持率分别为92.5%和85%.这种弱溶剂调控氢键和锌离子的溶剂鞘的机制为先进的水系电解质的设计提供了新的见解.

Zinc metal anodes face several challenges,including the uncontrolled formation of dendrites,hydrogen evolution,and corrosion,which seriously hinder their application in practice.To address the above problems such as dendrite formation and corrosion,we present a simple and applicable immersion method that enables in situ formation of a zinc phytate(PAZ)coating on the surface of commercial Zn flakes via a substitution reaction.This protective coating mitigates corrosion of zinc flakes by the electrolyte,reduces the interfacial impedance,and accelerates the migration kinetics of zinc ions.Besides,this method can preferentially expose the(002)crystal plane with strong atomic bonding,which not only improves the corrosion resistance of the zinc flake,but can also guide the parallel deposition of zinc ions along the(002)crystal plane and reduce the formation of dendrites.Benefiting from the above advantages,the PAZ@Zn‖Cu half-cell has shown over 900 cycles with average coulombic efficiency(CE)of99.81%at 4 mA cm^(-2).Besides,the PAZ@Zn‖PAZ@Zn symmetric cell operate stably for>1000 h at5 mA cm^(-2)and>340 h at 10 mA cm^(-2).Furthermore,we demonstrated that this in situ chemical treatment enables the formation of a robust,well-bound protective coating.This method provides insights for advancing the commercialization of zinc anodes and other metal anodes.
