New Evidence for Hydrothermal Sedimentary Genesis of the Ni-Mo Deposits in Black Rock Series of the Basal Cambrian, guizhou Province: Discovery of Coarse-Grained Limestones and its Geochemical Characteristics

The molybdenum-nickel deposits in Shuidong District of Nayong County （guizhou Province, Southwest China） are found mainly in black shale series of Lower Cambrian Niutitang Formation, which is another Mo-Ni-rich region besides Zunyi District （guizhou province）. Our systematic study on the Mo-Ni deposits in Tangjiaba of Nayong reveals that layered coarse-grained limestones, spherical beaded limestones concretions are hosted at the lower seam of the Mo-Ni deposits. Its strong negative carbon isotope anomaly （the carbon isotope value of the coarse-grained limestones varies from -2.148‰ to 8.223‰） is similar to that in the modern submarine black smoker chimney. The carbon in the coarse-grained limestones from black rock series of Nayong County might be deep source inorganic carbon. The seams, coarse-grained limestones, ore-bearing coarse-grained limestones and the roof and floor of the deposits are characterized by co-variation on the trace element spider diagram, showing good homology. The extraordinary enrichment of Ag, As and Sb resembles hydrothermal sedimentation. Pro-Earth＇s core elements Se is strongly enriched in Ni-Mo ore-bearing coarse-grained limestones. The ore-bearing rock series has an extremely low Th/U value （0.012-0.19）; in the logU-logTh Cartesian Coordinates, the samples of the roof and floor of the deposits and ore-bearing coarse-grained limestones are found in the East Pacific tise; and the samples of coarse-grained limestones are found between the paleo-hydrothermal dedimentary area and the East Pacific tise. The chondrite-normalized rare earth element patterns of the Ni-Mo deposits show LREE enrichment, Ce negative anomaly, and Eu negative anomaly （which is supposed to be influenced by the deep magmatic processes in an extensional environment） resembles the rare earth element distribution patterns of the fluid and its sediments in modern submarine hydrothermal system. We consider the conserved charge of static black holes with squashed horizons in the Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton theory via both the Abbott-Deser-Tekin （ADT） method and its off-shell generalization. We first make use of the original ADT method to compute the mass of the dilaton squashed black holes in terms of three different reference spacetimes, which are the asymptotic geometry, the flat background and the spacetime of the Kaluza- Klein monopole with boundary matched to the original metric, respectively. Each mass satisfies the first law of black hole thermodynamics, although the mass computed on the basis of the boundary matching the Kaluza- Klein monopole is different from that of the other two reference spacetimes. Then the mass of the black holes is evaluated through the off-shell generalized ADT method.

In this study, a classical spectral-finite difference scheme （SFDS） for the three-dimensional （3D） parabolic equation is reduced by using proper orthogonal decomposition （POD） and singular value decomposition （SVD）. First, the 3D parabolic equation is discretized in spatial variables by using spectral collocation method and the discrete scheme is transformed into matrix formulation by tensor product. Second~ the classical SFDS is obtained by difference discretization in time-direction. The ensemble of data are comprised with the first few transient solutions of the classical SFDS for the 3D parabolic equation and the POD bases of ensemble of data are generated by using POD technique and SVD. The unknown quantities of the classical SFDS are replaced with the linear combination of POD bases and a reduced- order extrapolation SFDS with lower dimensions and sufficiently high accuracy for the 3D parabolic equation is established. Third, the error estimates between the classical SFDS solutions and the reduced-order extrapolation SFDS solutions and the implementation for solving the reduced-order extrapolation SFDS are provided. Finally, a numerical example shows that the errors of numerical computations are consistent with the theoretical results. Moreover, it is shown that the reduced-order extrapolation SFDS is effective and feasible to find the numerical solutions for the 3D parabolic equation.

Ionization Energies and Dyson Orbials of Allyl Alcohol and Allyl Mercaptan Conformers

The conformers of allyl alcohol and allyl mercaptan were studied with B3LYP/aug-cc-pVTZ method. Their relative energies were calculated at MP3, MP4（SDQ）, and CCSD（T） levels. The most stable conformers for these two molecules are Gauche-gauche＇（Gg＇）. The theo-retical photoelectron spectra simulated with the calculated ionization energies demonstrate that there are at least four conformers in allyl alcohol and four conformers in allyl mercaptan in the gas-phase experiments. The Dyson orbitals of the highest occupied molecular orbital （HOMO） and the next HOMO （HOMO-1） of allyl mercaptan Ggt conformer show strongly mixing ns and πc=c characteristics, which may be due to the resonance and inductive effects between πc=c and ns in HOMO-1 and HOMO.

This paper calculates the five most stable conformers of serine with Hartree-Fock theory, density functional theory （B3LYP）, Moller-Plesset perturbation theory （MP4（SDQ）） and electron propagation theory with the 6-311＋＋G（2d,2p） basis set. The calculated vertical ionization energies for the valence molecular orbitals of each conformer are in agreement with the experimental data, indicating that a range of molecular conformations would coexist in an equilibrium sample. Information of the five outer valence molecular orbitals for each conformer is explored in coordinate and momentum spaces using dual space analysis to investigate the conformational processes, which are generated from the global minimum conformer Serl by rotation of C2-C3 （Ser4）, C1 C2 （Ser5） and C1-O2 （Set2 and Ser3）. Orbitals 28a, 27a and 26a are identified as the fingerprint orbitals for all the conformational processes.

The splitting of potential energy levels for ground state X^2∏g of O^x2 （x = ＋1,-1） under spin-orbit coupling （SOC） has been calculated by using the spin-orbit （SO） multi-configuration quasi-degenerate perturbation theory （SO-MCQDPT）. Their Murrell-Sorbie （M S） potential functions are gained, and then the spectroscopic constants for electronic states 2^∏1/2 and 2^∏3/2 are derived from the M S function. The vertical excitation energies for O^x2 （x = ＋1,-1） are v[O2＋1^（2∏3/2→X^2∏1/2）] =195.652cm^-1, and v[O2^-1（2^∏1/2 →X^2∏3/2）] =182.568cm^-1, respectively. All the spectroscopic data for electronic states 2^∏1/2 and 2^∏3/2 are given for the first time.

We investigated the removal of the organic dye rhodamine B in wastewater with recyclable AgBr/polypyrrole(PPy)*** PPy as an active base for electron transfer,and hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTAB)as both the soft-templating agent and the bromine source,a series of AgBr/PPy nano-photocatalysts containing various proportions of silver were prepared in a convenient one-step synthesis *** synthesized catalysts were characterized by TG analysis to reveal that,in comparison with pure PPy,the interaction between PPy and AgBr led to increased thermal *** combination of PPy and AgBr was observed through XRD and XPS *** the morphology study,the AgBr particles were found to be well dispersed in the PPy nanowire network from SEM *** the photodegradation experiments,up to 92%rhodamine B was degraded by the AgBr/PPy catalysts in the period of 1 hour under 254 nm UV *** catalysts could maintain 60%catalytic efficiency after 3 cycles in the recyclability test.

Geometric Scaling in New Combined Hadron-Electron Ring Accelerator Data

We study the geometric scaling in the new combined data of the hadron-electron ring accelerator by using the Golec-Biernat-Wfisthoff model. It is found that the description of the data is improved once the high accurate data are used to determine the model parameters. The value of xo extracted from the fit is larger than the one from the previous study, which indicates a larger saturation scale in the new combined data. This makes more data located in the saturation region, and our approach is more reliable. This study lets the saturation model confront such high precision new combined data, and tests geometric scaling with those data. We demonstrate that the data lie on the same curve, which shows the geometric scaling in the new combined data. This outcome seems to support that the gluon saturation would be a relevant mechanism to dominate the parton evolution process in deep inelastic scattering, due to the fact that the geometric scaling results from the gluon saturation mechanism.
