Effect of Huanglian Jiedu Decoction on the Behavior of Zebrafish with Alzheimer's Disease

[Objectives]To study the effect of Huanglian Jiedu Decoction on the behavior of zebrafish with Alzheimer's disease caused by AlCl 3.[Methods]Each portion of Huanglian Jiedu Decoction was prepared according to the proportion of Coptis chinensis∶Phellodendron chinense Rupr.∶Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi∶Gardenia jasminoides Ellis=63 g∶42 g∶42 g∶63 *** that,each portion of Huanglian Jiedu Decoction was soaked in 6.3 L water for 30 min and boiled twice at 100℃.The extracts were combined twice and filtered,then concentrated to 308 g/L and put into refrigerator for later *** training,zebrafishes were put into T-maze to adapt for 2 d,and then behavioral training was carried out for 7 *** video recording,the behavior of zebrafish was analyzed by Smart 3.0,and qualified zebrafishes were selected for follow-up *** 60 successfully trained zebrafishes were randomly divided into control group,model group,positive group,low-dose group,medium-dose group and high-dose group of Huanglian Jiedu *** for the control group,all the other groups were exposed to 100μg/L AlCl 3 for 7 *** that,video was recorded,and behavioral analysis was carried out with behavioral record and analysis software Smart *** then the zebrafishes in the other four groups except the model group were treated with Huperzine A(4μg/L)and Huanglian Jiedu Decoction(154,308,616 mg/L)for 6 d,*** that,it was recorded and the behavior of each group was analyzed.[Results]There was a significant difference in the time spent in the left area and the percentage of time in the left area between the control group and the model group(P<0.001).The time spent in the left area and the percentage of time in the left area in the model group and positive group,low,medium and high dose groups of Huanglian Jiedu Decoction decreased significantly(P<0.05,P<0.01,P<0.001).The swimming distance in the left area and the percentage of swimming distance in the left area in the mode

The Mechanism by Which Pereskia aculeata *** Ferroptosis and Interferes with Colon Cancer Based on Network Pharmacology

[Objectives]The paper was to investigate the mechanism by which Pereskia aculeata *** ferroptosis and interferes with colon cancer using network pharmacology.[Methods]The effect of *** on HCT116 cells was observed by examining cell *** intersection of ***,colon cancer,and ferroptosis targets was determined using the Venny 2.1.0 online *** database was used to perform GO and KEGG enrichment ***_v3.10.0 was used for network mapping and PPI analysis.[Results]The observation of cell morphology indicated that *** suppressed the growth of HCT116 *** and KEGG analysis identified 67 genes involved in potential pathways,including the MAPK signaling pathway and Apoptosis,18 of which were located on the MAPK *** conducting PPI visualization analysis and ranking based on Degree values,we identified TP53,TNF,EGFR,MAPK14,and AKT1 as the top five targets with the highest Degree values.[Conclusions]*** may activate the p53 gene through the MAPK signaling pathway,inducing ferroptosis and ultimately resulting in tumor cell death.

BACKGROUND Cervical spine pyogenic infection(CSPI)is a rare and challenging form of spinal infection that is typically caused by pyogenic bacteria and primarily affects the cervical vertebral bodies and surrounding *** its nonspecific symptoms,such as fever and neck pain,early diagnosis is crucial to prevent severe complications,including spinal cord *** report a previously unreported case of acute CSPI arising from chronic paronychia,exploring its diagnostic and therapeutic challenges through a review of the current *** SUMMARY The presented case involved a 15-year-old man with CSPI caused by Staphylococcus aureus,which led to complications including bacteremia and a paronychiaassociated *** pyogenic infection was initially diagnosed by typical symptoms and blood *** improved after antibiotic treatment while developing progressive limbs *** days after admission,the patient underwent anterior cervical debridement+autogenous iliac bone graft fusion+plate internal fixation and received 12 weeks of antibiotic treatment after the ***-examination 3 years postoperatively showed that the patient had stable cervical fixation,no significant neck pain or upper limb abnormalities,and normal urinary *** Early imaging findings,laboratory markers,and timely antibiotic treatment are crucial for CSPI management,preventing complications and facilitating recovery.

The Idea of Treating Numbness of Lower Limbs after Stroke with Zhuang Medical Meridian Therapy by Regulating Shaoyang Meridian Tendons

Based on the understanding of lower limb numbness after stroke in Zhuang medicine, this study makes diagnosis and treatment of lower limb numbness after stroke from the clinical differentiation and treatment ideas of "numbness due to Shaoyang (lesser Yang)" through Zhuang medicine Meridian Tendon Therapy. The triple therapy of meridian tendon Tuina+acupuncture+cupping originally created by Zhuang medicine and head bloodletting by Zhuang medicine were used to improve the numbness symptoms of patients. This provides a new thinking mode for acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of lower limb numbness after stroke.

Growth and Diet Utilization Efficiencies of Overwinter Juvenile Mud Crabs Fed with Different Diets

[Objectives]To study the utilization efficiency of different diets for juvenile Scylla paramamosain.[Methods]Low-value fish,shrimp,clam and clamworm were fed to overwintering young mud crabs,and the performance of the feed was evaluated by growth,feed utilization and energy allocation.[Results]Shrimp-fed mud crabs showed the best growth performance,while fish-fed mud crabs showed the worst growth performance and converted the least protein and energy for ***-fed mud crabs molted more frequently,and the dry matter mass and energy of Exuviation were significantly higher than those of fish-fed mud *** shrimp-fed crabs also had significantly higher food intake than those fish-fed *** order of feed conversion efficiency(FCE)of fish-fed mud crabs was Polychaete>clam>shrimp>fish,while the order of FCE calculated with FCE-P and FCE-E was Polychaete>clam>shrimp>***-fed mud crabs had the least energy intake and the least energy for growth,molting,excretion,metabolism,and *** the four treatments,the mud crabs fed on Polychaete had the largest proportion of energy used for growth,while the mud crabs fed on fish had the largest proportion of energy used for *** proportion of energy consumed by mud crabs fed on Polychaete was the smallest,which may be the main reason for the higher FCE-P and FCE-E of mud crabs fed on Polychaete.[Conclusions]The results of this experiment showed that the utilization of low-value fish by mud crabs was the worst,suggesting that fish should not be used as control or reference food when studying the formula feed of mud crabs.
