Study on trifluoromethanesulfonic acid-promoted synthesis of daidzein: Process optimization and reaction mechanism

Daidzein has been widely used in pharmaceuticals,nutraceuticals,cosmetics,feed additives,*** preparation process and related reaction mechanism need to be further investigated.A cost-effective process for synthesizing daidzein was developed in this *** this article,a two-step synthesis of daidzein(Friedel–Crafts acylation and[5+1]cyclization)was developed via the employment of trifluoromethanesulfonic acid(TfOH)as an effective promoting *** effect of reaction conditions such as solvent,the amount of TfOH,reaction temperature,and reactant ratio on the conversion rate and the yield of the reaction,respectively,was systematically investigated,and daidzein was obtained in 74.0%isolated yield under optimal *** to the facilitating effect of TfOH,the Friedel–Crafts acylation was completed within 10 min at 90℃ and the[5+1]cyclization was completed within 180 min at 25℃.In addition,a possible reaction mechanism for this process was *** results of the study may provide useful guidance for industrial production of daidzein on a large scale.

Copper possesses very strong chacophile properties, but under the conditions found in meteorites, its behavior is like that of siderophile elements. The Suizhou meteorite is a highly shocked L6 chondrite. Troilite and taenite are considered the main primary carrier of copper in this meteorite, and the post-shock thermal episode is considered the main reason that elemental Cu migrates from its original host phase and forms metallic grains. The Suizhou meteorite contains a few very thin shock melt veins. The occurrence and behavior of metallic copper in this meteorite were studied by optical microscopic examination, electron microprobe analyses, and high-resolution X-ray elemental intensity mapping. Our results show that metallic copper is abundant in the Suizhou chondritic rock. Metallic copper grains adjacent to small troilite grains inside FeNi metal are the most common occurrence, and those at the FeNi metal–troilite interface are the second most common *** metallic copper grains occurring at the interface of FeNi metal/troililte and silicate are rather rare. Metallic copper grains are not observed within the Suizhou shock veins,Instead, Cu in elemental form is transferred through shock metamorphism into FeNi metal + troilite intergrowths. Four different occurrence types of Cu in the FeNi metal + troilite intergrowths have been identified: the concentrations of Cu in the FeNi + FeS intergrowths for four occurrence types are rather close, we estimate it might be lower than 1 wt%.

Ce-encapsulated Beta zeolite was synthesized by a one-pot hydrothermal method with citric acid complexing Ce in the absence of Na *** citric acid can effectively prevent the deposition of Ce species during the hydrothermal synthesis of zeolites,leading to uniform distribution of Ce cluster in the framework of Beta ***,the sodium-free synthesis system resulted that the Brønsted acid sites were mainly located on the straight channels and external surface of Beta zeolites,improving the utilization of Brønsted acid *** addition,Ce encapsulated Beta zeolites showed enhanced activity and robust stability in the alkylation of benzene with 1-dodecene based on the synergistic effect between Ce species and Brønsted acid sites,which pave the way for its practical application in the production of alkylbenzene.

Self-templating synthesis of biomass-based porous carbon nanotubes for energy storage and catalytic degradation applications

Dwindling energy sources and a worsening environment are huge global problems,and biomass wastes are an under-exploited source of material for both energy and material ***,self-template decoction dregs of Ganoderma lucidum-derived porous carbon nanotubes(ST-DDLGCs)were synthesized via a facile and scalable strategy in response to these ***-DDLGCs exhibited a large surface area(1731.51 m^(2)g^(-1))and high pore volume(0.76 cm^(3)g^(-1)),due to the interlacing tubular structures of precursors and extra-hierarchical porous structures on tube *** the ST-DDLGC/PMS system,the degradation efficiency of capecitabine(CAP)reached~97.3%within 120 ***,ST-DDLGCs displayed high catalytic activity over a wide pH range of 3–9,and strong anti-interference to these typical and ubiquitous anions in wastewater and natural water bodies(i.e.,H_(2)PO_(4)^(-),NO_(3)^(-),Cl^(-) and HCO_(3)^(-)),in which a ^(1)O_(2)-dominated oxidation was identified and non-radical mechanisms were ***,ST-DDLGC-based coin-type symmetrical supercapacitors exhibited outstanding electrochemical performance,with specific capacitances of up to 328.1 F g^(-1)at 0.5 A g^(-1),and cycling stability of up to 98.6%after 10,000 cycles at a current density of 2 A g^(-1).The superior properties of ST-DDLGCs could be attributed to the unique porous tubular structure,which facilitated mass transfer and presented numerous active *** results highlight ST-DDLGCs as a potential candidate for constructing inexpensive and advanced environmentally functional materials and energy storage devices.

Here,we report the production of 3D-printed MoS_(2)/Ni electrodes(3D-MoS_(2)/Ni)with longterm stability and excellent performance by the selective laser melting(SLM)*** a cathode,the obtained 3D-MoS_(2)/Ni could maintain a degradation rate above 94.0%for forfenicol(FLO)when repeatedly used 50 times in *** also found that the removal rate of FLO by 3D-MoS_(2)/Ni was about 12 times higher than that of 3D-printed pure Ni(3D-Ni),attributed to the improved accessibility of H^(*).In addition,the electrochemical characterization results showed that the electrochemically active surface area of the 3D-MoS_(2)/Ni electrode is about 3-fold higher than that of the 3D-Ni electrode while the electrical resistance is 4 times *** on tert-butanol suppression,electron paramagnetic resonance and triple quadrupole mass spectrometer experiments,a“dual path”mechanism and possible degradation pathway for the dechlorination of FLO by 3D-MoS_(2)/Ni were ***,we also investigated the impacts of the cathode potential and the initial pH of the solution on the degradation of ***,this study reveals that the SLM 3D printing technique is a promising approach for the rapid fabrication of high-stability metal electrodes,which could have broad application in the control of water contaminants in the environmental field.
