Intra-tumor heterogeneity is now arguably one of the most-studied topics in tumor biology,as it represents a major obstacle to effective cancer *** tumor cells are highly diverse at genetic,epigenetic,and phenotypic levels,intra-tumor heterogeneity can be assumed as an important contributing factor to the nullification of chemotherapeutic effects,and recurrence of the *** on the role of heterogeneous subpopulations of cancer cells with varying cell-cycle dynamics and behavior during cancer progression and treatment;herein,we aim to establish a comprehensive definition for adaptation of neoplastic cells against *** discuss two parallel and yet distinct subpopulations of tumor cells that play pivotal roles in reducing the effects of chemotherapy:"resistant"and"tolerant"***,this review also highlights the impact of the quiescent phase of the cell cycle as a survival mechanism for cancer *** understanding the mechanisms under-lying the quiescence,it provides an insightful perspective on cancer stem cells(CsCs)and their dual and intertwined functions based on their cell cycle state in response to ***-over,CSCs,epithelial-mesenchymal transformed cells,circulating tumor cells(CTCs),and disseminated tumor cells(DTCs),which are mostly in a quiescent state of the cell cycle are proved to have multiple biological links and can be implicated in our viewpoint of cell cycle heterogeneity in ***,increasing our knowledge of cell cycle heterogeneity is a key to identifying new therapeutic solutions,and this emerging concept may provide us with new opportunities to prevent the dreadful cancer recurrence.

研究标准热处理对扩散焊IN-738LC高温合金显微组织和力学性能的影响。对连接样品进行全固溶退火、部分固溶退火和时效处理3个不同的热处理。结果表明,在1120℃下焊接5 min,会导致不完全等温凝固,在焊缝处形成富Ni、Cr的硼化物共晶相。当保温时间延长到45 min时,接头中发生完全等温凝固,形成镍的先共晶固溶体γ相。等温凝固和非等温凝固样品的标准热处理能完全消除扩散影响区的硼化物相,并在等温凝固区形成γ’析出相。然而,在非等温凝固样品的接头区观察到不连续的再凝固产物。等温凝固样品经标准热处理后,剪切强度最高(约801 MPa),为基材剪切强度的99%。

Effect of fiber hybridization on energy absorption and synergy in concrete

In the present study,steel and polypropylene(PP)fibers have been utilized with the intent of obtaining hybrid fiber-reinforced concrete(HFRC)with desirable mechanical *** attempt has been made to scrutinize the properties of HFRC with the main concentration being on energy absorption characteristics of concrete and the efficacy of fiber hybridization in producing ***,a total of 180 specimens,representing 20 different mixtures have been cast and evaluated through compressive,split tensile,and flexural *** relevant flexural toughness of the specimens was calculated using ASTM C1018,ASTM Cl 609,JSCE,and PCS methods,and the effectiveness of these methods was evaluated based on the experimental *** was observed that steel fibers are more effective in the improvement of flexural toughness in the presence ofPP ***,synergy associated with the combination of fibers at different stages of deflection of the beam specimens was observed and analyzed.

Spatial optimization of soil and water conservation practices using coupled SWAT model and evolutionary algorithm

Soil and water conservation practices have been extensively used in effective watershed *** impact of each conservation practice is site specific and dependent on the implementation site in the *** order to select cost effective placement of conservation practices with high impact,a large number of spatial combinations is needed to be *** this study,an optimization model framework is presented to find cost effective solutions for sediment yield and runoff control in the Fariman dam watershed in the Northeast of *** was accomplished by integrating soil and water assessment tool(SWAT)for simulation of watershed hydrology and multi objective genetic algorithm(NSGA-II)for spatial optimization of soil and water conservation *** optimized solutions provided a trade-off between the two objective *** final Pareto-optimal shows that the impact of soil and water conservation practices on sediment yield is more than stream *** trade-offs between the objective functions show that the implementation of the median cost can lead to a significant decrease of 22.1%in the amount of sediment yield,and 10%in stream ***,percent change achieved through median cost is very close to percent reduction with the highest *** of low cost solution show that the vegetative practices are a suitable economic scenario for soil and water *** introduced framework can be adapted as a suitable tool for selecting cost effective conservation practices in different regions.

Dietary sources and levels of selenium supplements affect growth performance,carcass yield,meat quality and tissue selenium deposition in broilers

This study examined the effects of sources and levels of selenium(Se)on performance,carcass parts yield,meat quality and tissue Se concentration in broilers.A total of 960 one-day-old male broilers were divided into 8 treatments in a 4 x 2 factorial *** were penned in groups of 20 with6 pens per *** sources were sodium selenite(SS),Se enriched yeast(SY),DLselenomethionine(SM)and nano-selenium(NS)and dietary supplemental Se levels were 0.1 and0.3 mg/kg *** average daily gain(ADG),average daily feed intake(ADFI),feed:gain ratio,mortality,and carcass parts yield were not affected by dietary *** level of 0.3 mg/kg Se decreased lightness and increased yellowness of the breast and thighs(P<0.001).Nano-selenium improved yellowness,redness and meat quality(P<0.05).The interactive effects of sources and the levels of Se affected Se retention(P<0.001).Inorganic Se showed poor retention compared to other sources of Se;and NS showed equal retention with the organic *** consideration to meat quality responses,NS had a more signific:ant positive effect compared to SS as an inorganic source of ***,NS and organic sources of Se resulted in better meat quality compared with the inorganic ***,the highest Se retention percentage was achieved by supplementation of NS followed by organic sources at0.1 mg/kg compared to SS.

Life Cycle Assessment modeling of milk production in Iran

Livestock units are known as one of the most influential sectors in the environment ***,the aim of this study was to investigate the environmental impacts of milk production in Guilan province of Iran through Life Cycle Assessment(LCA)*** primary data were collected from 45 units of milk production through a field survey with the help of a structured *** reliability was assessed using Cronbach’s alpha coefficient and was estimated an acceptable value of *** consumption of resources and emissions were allocated to a functional unit(FU)of one ton of *** of emissions in five impact categories of global warming,acidification,eutrophication,photochemical oxidation and depletion of resources were *** results showed that the characterization index for these impact categories were 1831 kg CO2 eq,7.97 kg SO2 eq,3.42 kg PO4^-3 eq,0.21 kg C2H4 eq and 838.39 MJ,*** indices for these impact categories were calculated as 0.24,0.28,0.076,0.017 and 0.046,*** index(EcoX)and resources depletion index(RDI)were obtained 0.61 and 0.04,*** this study,the highest potential for environmental impacts of production revealed for acidification and followed by global warming impact category.

Mechanochemical leaching of chalcopyrite concentrate by sulfuric acid

This study aimed to introduce a new cost-effective methodology for increasing the leaching efficiency of chalcopyrite concentrates at ambient temperature and pressure. Mechanical activation was employed during the leaching（mechanochemical leaching） of chalcopyrite concentrates in a sulfuric acid medium at room temperature and atmospheric pressure. High energy ball milling process was used during the leaching to provide the mechanochemical leaching condition, and atomic absorption spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry were used to determine the leaching behavior of chalcopyrite. Moreover, X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy were used to characterize the chalcopyrite powder before and after leaching. The results demonstrated that mechanochemical leaching was effective; the extraction of copper increased significantly and continuously. Although the leaching efficiency of chalcopyrite was very low at ambient temperature, the percentages of copper dissolved in the presence of hydrogen peroxide（H2O2） and ferric sulfate（Fe2（SO4）3） after 20 h of mechanochemical leaching reached 28% and 33%, respectively. Given the efficiency of the developed method and the facts that it does not require the use of an autoclave and can be conducted at room temperature and atmospheric pressure, it represents an economical and easy-to-use method for the leaching industry.

Sensitivity analysis of energy inputs and economic evaluation of pomegranate production in Iran

The aim of this research was to investigate the energy use and costs of pomegranate production in Behshahr city(Mazandaran province)of *** required data were gathered by questionnaire and face to face interviews with 83 pomegranate ***-Douglas model and sensitivity analysis were employed for energy flows modeling of the production *** total energy inputs and energy output of production were determined to be 11195.06 and 13276.56 MJ ha1,and two inputs of diesel fuel and chemical fertilizers with the shares of 45.81 and 23.47%,were the highest energy consumers for pomegranate *** use efficiency,energy productivity and net energy were 1.18,2081.50 MJ ha1 and 0.62 kg MJ1,*** results of Cobb-Douglas model showed that the effect of the energy inputs including human labor,biocides,chemical fertilizers,farmyard manure,electricity and water for irrigation on pomegranates yield were positive,while the effects of diesel fuel and agricultural machinery were negative on the pomegranate *** sensitivity analysis results of energy inputs showed that with the increase of one MJ in the energy input of water for irrigation and chemical fertilizers,the yield was increased to 3.12 and 1.42 kg,*** with the increase of one MJ in diesel fuel and agricultural machinery inputs,the yield was decreased to 0.67 and 0.47 kg,*** fuel as the most used energy input in the production accounted for 0.85%of variable costs and the benefit to cost ratio was determined to be 5.57.

Spatial variability of soil water erosion:Comparing empirical and intelligent techniques

Soil water erosion(SWE)is an important global hazard that affects food availability through soil degradation,a reduction in crop yield,and agricultural land abandonment.A map of soil erosion susceptibility is a first and vital step in land management and soil *** machine learning(ML)algorithms optimized using the Grey Wolf Optimizer(GWO)metaheuristic algorithm can be used to accurately map SWE *** optimized algorithms include Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN and CNN-GWO),Support Vector Machine(SVM and SVM-GWO),and Group Method of Data Handling(GMDH and GMDH-GWO).Results obtained using these algorithms can be compared with the well-known Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation(RUSLE)empirical model and Extreme Gradient Boosting(XGBoost)ML tree-based *** apply these methods together with the frequency ratio(FR)model and the Information Gain Ratio(IGR)to determine the relationship between historical SWE data and controlling geo-environmental factors at 116 sites in the Noor-Rood watershed in northern *** SWE geo-environmental factors are classified in topographical,hydro-climatic,land cover,and geological *** next divided the SWE sites into two datasets,one for model training(70%of the samples=81 locations)and the other for model validation(30%of the samples=35 locations).Finally the model-generated maps were evaluated using the Area under the Receiver Operating Characteristic(AU-ROC)*** results show that elevation and rainfall erosivity have the greatest influence on SWE,while soil texture and hydrology are less *** CNN-GWO model(AU-ROC=0.85)outperformed other models,specifically,and in order,SVR-GWO=GMDH-GWO(AUC=0.82),CNN=GMDH(AUC=0.81),SVR=XGBoost(AUC=0.80),and *** on the RUSLE model,soil loss in the Noor-Rood watershed ranges from 0 to 2644 t ha^(-1)yr^(-1).

Use of quince seed mucilage edible films containing natural preservatives to enhance physico-chemical quality of rainbow trout fillets during cold storage

In this study quality changes of rainbow trout fillet wrapped with quince seed mucilage QSM film incorporated with 0–2%(V/V)thyme or oregano essential oil,as natural preservatives,during storage of 18 d at 4◦C were *** control and wrapped fillet samples were analyzed for texture,lipid oxidation,and color *** 6 d of storage,a significantly increasing trend was observed for lipid oxidation in control *** values(PV)varied for all treatments and remained lower than 8 meq/kg throughout the storage time(18 d).The lowest PV was obtained in fillets wrapped with QSM film containing 2%oregano essential *** to control samples,fillet samples wrapped with QSM films presented a significant reduction in pH after 12 d(P<0.05).L*and b*color parameters were increased while parameter a*was decreased linearly for all treatments during the storage time.
