Scientific curriculum evaluation methods are critical for achieving talent training *** Sydney Accord,one of the three major engineering education certification agreements,focuses on the training of“engineering technologists.”Its logical system and three core principles align well with the connotation development of professional construction in China’s higher vocational colleges,offering significant insights for promoting reform and development in engineering education in Chinese colleges and *** incorporating the core principles,elements,and graduate quality defined in the Sydney Accord and focusing on the evaluation of curriculum achievement against“graduation requirements,”the quality of vocational education can be enhanced,making it an important direction for future teaching reforms in vocational education.

Maximizing sow reproductive performance is vital for ensuring healthy piglet supply,feed efficiency,and profitability,which requires understanding factors such as nutrition,disease control,genetics,herd management,and their *** is well documented that most reproductive issues in sows stem from extreme fluctuations in body reserves[1].Thus,optimizing reproduction should prioritize regulating body reserves and making continuous nutritional adjustments throughout a sow’s life[1,2].However,the traditional one-size-fits-all feeding strategy may not meet individual sow needs under varying *** feeding strategy leads to nutrient under-or over-feeding,which may result in a lack of performance and health issues on the one hand,and economic loss and negative environmental effects on the other.

Structure optimization by heuristic algorithm in a coarse-grained off-lattice model

A heuristic algorithm is presented for a three-dimensional off-lattice AB model consisting of hydrophobic （A） and hydrophilic （B） residues in Fibonacci sequences. By incorporating extra energy contributions into the original potential function, we convert the constrained optimization problem of AB model into an unconstrained optimization problem which can be solved by the gradient method. After the gradient minimization leads to the basins of the local energy minima, the heuristic off-trap strategy and subsequent neighborhood search mechanism axe then proposed to get out of local minima and search for the lower-energy configurations. Furthermore, in order to improve the efficiency of the proposed algorithm, we apply the improved version called the new PERM with importance sampling （nPERMis） of the chain-growth algorithm, pruned-enriched-Rosenbluth method （PERM）, to face-centered-cubic （FCC）-lattice to produce the initial configurations. The numerical results show that the proposed methods are very promising for finding the ground states of proteins. In several cases, we found the ground state energies are lower than the best values reported in the present literature.

Synthesis and Characterization of a Novel Bamboo Shaving Geopolymer Composite

Geopolymers are inorganic aluminosilicate materials,which have been a great research interest as a material for sustainable ***,they possess relatively low toughness properties similar to brittle *** limitation may be altered by fiber reinforcement to improve their strength and *** research describes the synthesis of bamboo shaving(BS)reinforced geopolymer composites and the characterization of their mechanical *** effect of BS content(0–2 wt.%)on the physical and mechanical properties and microstructure of metakaolin based geopolymer paste were *** workability,setting time,bulk density,apparent porosity,thermal conductivity,compressive strength,flexural strength,scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and X-ray diffraction(XRD)of geopolymer paste were *** results showed that the workability,setting time,density,and thermal conductivity decreased with the increasing of BS *** BS content was proportional to the apparent porosity and a good linear relation was found between apparent porosity and BS *** highest mechanical properties were achieved at an optimum BS content of 1.0 wt.%.The results of microstructural analysis revealed that BS act as inforcing phase in matrix,reducing cracks and making a dense geopolymer,which leads to favorable adhesion of the composites and produces a geopolymer composite with better mechanical properties than that of pure ***,when the BS content exceeded 1.0 wt.%,interfacial bonding between BS and geopolymer matrix became *** analysis showed that BS has little effect on the mineral composition of metakaolin-based geopolymer and no new phase is formed.

A Robust Discontinuous Galerkin Method for Solving Convection-diffusion Problems

In this paper, a new DG method was designed to solve the model problem of the one-dimensional singularly-perturbed convection-diffusion equation. With some special chosen numerical traces, the existence and uniqueness of the DG solution is provided. The superconvergent points inside each element are observed. Particularly, the 2p ＋ 1-order superconvergence and even uniform superconvergence under layer-adapted mesh are observed numerically.

A branched core-shell nanosphere composed of an anatase TiO_(2)(a-TiO_(2)) core and a TiO_(2)nanobranch shell with gradient-doped N(a-TiO_(2)@N-TiO_(2)) is synthesized by a simple in situ doping method, in which mixed crystal anatase-rutile TiO_(2)(ar-TiO_(2)) nanosphere is first prepared by oxidizing Ti using H_(2)O_(2), and then is etched by NH_(3)·H_(2)O to form(NH_(4))2TiO_(3)nanobranches, which is converted into a-TiO_(2)@N-TiO_(2)following an ambient annealing process. The diameter of a-TiO_(2)core is ~500 nm, and the thickness of NTiO_(2)branched shell is ~100 nm with gradually increased N concentration from the bottom to the ***-thin amorphous coating layers on the branches are also observed. The morphology of the composites could be further tuned by the amount of NH_(3)·H_(2)O, and its effect on the photocatalytic performance is also investigated. The optimized a-TiO_(2)@N-TiO_(2)shows an outstanding hydrogen evolution rate of 308.1 μmol g^(-1)h^(-1)under air mass(AM) 1.5 illumination, and also exhibits highly active in photocatalytic degradation of various refractory organic pollutants, including organic dyes, phenols, antibiotics,and personal care products, with removal ratios higher than 96% after 2 h operation. This can be due to the gradient-doped N-TiO_(2)nanobranches, which not only provide bending band structure and defect level derived from the N impurities and O vacancies, resulting the formation of n-n+heterojunctions to improve the charge separation, but also enhance the charge transfer at the liquid-solid interface due to the numerous nanobranches and amorphous coating layers.

Elevated Temperature Properties of Bamboo Shaving Reinforced Geopolymer Composites

Geopolymer is a new alternative cement binder to produce *** the present study,a novel geopolymer composites containing bamboo shaving(0–2 wt.%)were fabricated and exposed to the temperatures of 200℃,400℃,600℃and 800℃.Physical properties,micro-structure,and mechanical strengths of the geopolymer composites were evaluated before and after heating in order to understand their thermal properties,which are essential for the use as building *** the temperature rises,the drying shrinkage and apparent porosity of the composites increase,while the compressive and bending strengths *** the temperature range of 200℃–800℃,the residual compressive strength rates of the geopolymer composite containning 2 wt.%bamboo shaving were respective 73.8%,61.47%,56.16%,and 29.56%,meanwhile,the residual flexural strength rates were respective 46.69%,8.68%,2.52%,and 2.33%.Correspondingly,the residual compressive strength rates of pure geopolymer were respective 72.81%,61.99%,54.55%,and 14.64%;the residual flexural strength rates were 48.87%,5.69%,3.22%,and 2.47%,*** electron microscope(SEM),optical microscope,and X-ray diffractometry(XRD)were applied to find the microscopic *** strength loss in the geopolymer composites was mainly because of the thermal degradation of bamboo shaving and shrinkage of geopolymer *** shaving has great potential as reinforcer in developing low-cost geopolymer composites and may be used for applications up to 400℃.

The purpose of the research is to assess the sound absorption performance(SAP)of acoustic metamaterials made of double-layer Nomex honeycomb structures in which a micro-orifice corresponds to a honeycomb *** this purpose,the influences of structural parameters on the SAP of acoustic metamaterials were investigated by using experimental testing and a validated theoretical *** addition,the sandwich structure was optimized by the genetic *** research shows that the panel thickness and micro-orifice diameter mainly affect the second resonant frequency and second peak sound absorption coefficient(SAC)of the *** unit cell size is found to influence the first and second resonant frequencies and two peaks of the *** extremely low side-length of the honeycomb core decreases the SAP of the structure for low-frequency noise ***,the sandwich structure presents a better SAP when the diameter of micro-orifices on the front micro-perforated panel(MPP)exceeds that of the back *** sandwich structure shows better noise reduction performance after the optimization aiming at the noise frequency outside trains.
