Control of multidrug-resistant planktonic Acinetobacter baumannii:biocidal efficacy study by atmospheric-pressure air plasma

In this research,an atmospheric-pressure air plasma is used to inactivate the multidrug-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii in *** efficacy of the air plasma on bacterial deactivation and the cytobiological variations after the plasma treatment are *** to colony forming units,nearly all the bacteria（6-log） are inactivated after 10 min of air plasma ***,7% of the bacteria enter a viable but non-culturable state detected by the resazurin based assay during the same period of plasma ***,86% of the bacteria lose their membrane integrity in the light of SYTO 9/PI staining *** morphological changes in the cells are examined by scanning electron microscopy and bacteria with morphological changes are rare after plasma exposure in the *** concentrations of the long-living RS,such as H2O2,NO3^- and O3,in liquid induced by plasma treatment are measured,and they increase with plasma treatment *** changes of the intracellular ROS may be related to cell death,which may be attributed to oxidative stress and other damage effects induced by RS plasma generated in *** rapid and effective bacteria inactivation may stem from the RS in the liquid generated by plasma and air plasmas may become a valuable therapy in the treatment of infected wounds.

Degradation and mineralization of ciprofloxacin by gas–liquid discharge non-thermal plasma

A typical quinolones antibiotic ciprofloxacin(CIP) in aqueous solution was degraded by a gas–liquid discharge non-thermal plasma system. The discharge plasma power and the emission intensity of the excited reactive species(RS) generated in the gas phase were detected by the oscilloscope and the optical emission spectroscopy. The effects of various parameters on CIP degradation, i.e. input powers, initial concentrations addition of radical scavengers and p H values were investigated. With the increase of discharge power, the degradation efficiency increased but the energy efficiency significantly reduced. The degradation efficiency also reduced under high concentration of initial CIP conditions due to the competitive reactions between the plasma-induced RS with the degradation intermediates of CIP. Different radical scavengers(isopropanol and CCl_4) on ·OH and H· were added into the reaction system and the oxidation effects of ·OH radicals have been proved with high degradation capacity on ***, the long-term degradation effect on CIP in the plasma-treated aqueous solution proved that the long-lived RS(H_2O_2 and O_3, etc) might play key roles on the stay effect through multiple aqueous reactions leading to production of ·OH. The degradation intermediates were determined by the method of electrospray ionization(+)-mass spectroscopy, and the possible degradation mechanism were presented.

Upregulated IRF9 promotes cell apoptosis of hyperlipidemia acute pancreatitis with heart injury by regulating SIRT1

本文旨在探讨每天灌胃omega-3鱼油对慢性铅暴露（0.2%醋酸铅）导致的大鼠海马齿状回（dentate gyrus,DG）区突触可塑性损伤有无保护作用。将新生Wistar大鼠分为4组：正常对照组、铅组、正常＋鱼油组、铅＋鱼油组,染铅方式为饮用0.2%醋酸铅水,鱼油按0.4mL/100g体重采用灌胃方式给药,至大鼠80~90d时,4组大鼠进行海马DG区的场电位记录,记录兴奋性突触后电位（excitatory postsynaptic potential,EPSP）、群峰电位（population spike,PS）的长时程增强（long-term potentiation,LTP）。结果显示：出生后的铅暴露损伤了大鼠海马DG区的LTP;鱼油对正常对照组的LTP无显著影响,而对染铅大鼠LTP的损伤有明显的修复作用。以上结果提示omega-3鱼油可能对慢性铅暴露导致的LTP损害具有一定的保护作用。

Synthesis, Characterization, Optical and Electrochemical Properties of Fulleropyrrolidines Containing Trifluoromethyl Group

Four novel [60]fullerene pyrrolidines containing trifluoromethyl （--CF3） group have been synthesized via 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction, which have been characterized by UV-Vis spectroscopy, fourier transform in- frared spectroscopy, matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization-time of flight mass spectroscopy, and IH, 13C, 19F nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer （IH NMR, 13C NMR, 19F NMR）. Their optical and electrochemical prop- erties have been studied, and the results show that those fulleropyrrolidines containing --CF3 group have good fluo- rescence and electrochemical properties. Compared with C60, they have negative shifts in varying degrees for half-wave potentials, and may have potential applications for photovoltaic conversion materials since their lowest unoccupied molecular orbital （LUMO） levels are close to that of [6,6]-phenyl-C6：butyric acid methyl ester.

目的:探讨中国人群男性2型糖尿病患者中β3肾上腺素受体基因Trp64Arg多态性与高尿酸血症的相关性。方法:196名高尿酸血症的2型糖尿病患者和196名正常尿酸水平的2型糖尿病患者进行基因分型。检测体重指数、腰臀比、收缩压、舒张压、血尿酸、肌酐、尿素氮、甘油三酯、低密度脂蛋白胆固醇脂、高密度脂蛋白胆固醇脂、空腹血糖和餐后血糖的水平。结果:高尿酸血症组中,携带不同β3肾上腺素受体Trp64Arg基因型的2型糖尿病患者其尿酸水平有统计学差异,且呈基因剂量效应[CC组(599.53±113.70)vsCT组(529.78±81.10)vs TT组(507.33±74.27),P<0.01]。在该研究中,Trp64Arg TC+CC基因型患者的血尿酸水平亦显著高于TT基因型组[(557.95±99.91)vs(503.47±69.40)μmol/L,P<0.01]。结论:β3肾上腺素受体基因Trp64Arg多态性与2型糖尿病合并高尿酸血症的具有相关性。

LIMIT CYCLES FOR A CLASS OF NONPOLYNOMIAL PLANAR VECTOR FIELDS (II)

In this paper, the problem of limit cycles for a class of nonpolynomial planar vector felds is investigated. First, based on Liapunov method theory, we obtain some sufcient conditions for determining the origin as the critical point of such nonpolynomial planar vector felds to be the focus or center. Then, using Dulac criterion, we establish some sufcient conditions for the nonexistence of limit cycles of this nonpolynomial planar vector felds. And then, according to Hopf bifurcation theory, we analyze some sufcient conditions for bifurcating limit cycles from the origin. Finally, by transforming the nonpolynomial planar vector felds into the generalized Li′enard planar vector felds, we discuss the existence, uniqueness and stability of limit cycles for the former and latter planar vector felds. Some examples are also given to illustrate the efectiveness of our theoretical results.

GRK2 overexpression inhibits IGF1-induced proliferation and migration of human hepatocellular carcinoma cells by down-regulating EGR1

OBJECTIVE To investigate the role and mechanism of G protein-coupled receptor kinase 2(GRK2)involving in hepatocel ular carcinoma(HCC)*** Cel Counting Kit 8 and tumor colony formation assay were designed to detect HCC cell proliferation,wound healing assay was to detect HCC *** correlation between GRK2 and early growth response-1(EGR1)were detected by RT-PCR and real-time PCR ***-immunoprecipitation and Western blot assay were adopted to detect the relationship between GRK2and insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor(IGF-1R)signaling *** In this study we find that GRK2plays an inhibition role in IGF1-induced HCC cell proliferation and *** of GRK2 causes a decrease in EGR1 expression,while knockdown of GRK2 leads to the dramatically increase in EGR1 expression in the treatment of *** co-immunoprecipitation and Western blot assay,we confirm that GRK2can interact with IGF-1R and inhibiting IGF1-induced activation of IGF1R signaling *** EGR1attenuates GRK2 overexpression-caused inhibition of cell proliferation,tumor colony number and migrationactivity,while overexpressing of EGR1 restores the antiproliferative and migratory effect by GRK2 overexpression in HCCLM3 *** Taken together,these results suggest that GRK2 may inhibit IGF1-induced HCC cell growth and migration through down-regulation of EGR1 and indicate that enforced GRK2 may offer a potential therapeutic approach against HCC.
