Clinical efficacy and safety of erlotinib combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of advanced pancreatic cancer:A meta-analysis

BACKGROUND Advanced pancreatic cancer is resistant to chemotherapeutic drugs,resulting in limited treatment efficacy and poor *** administration of the chemotherapeutic gemcitabine and erlotinib is considered a potential first-line treatment for advanced pancreatic ***,their comparative benefits and potential risks remain *** To assess the clinical efficacy and safety of erlotinib combined with other chemotherapy regimens for the treatment of advanced pancreatic *** Literature on the clinical efficacy and safety of erlotinib combined with chemotherapy for advanced pancreatic cancer was retrieved through an online *** retrieved literature was subjected to a methodological qualitative assessment and was analyzed using the RevMan 5.3 *** randomized controlled trials involving 2444 patients with advanced pancreatic cancer were included in the *** Compared with chemotherapeutic treatment,erlotinib combined with chemotherapy significantly prolonged the progression-free survival time of pancreatic cancer patients[hazard ratio(HR)=0.78,95%CI:0.66-0.92,P=0.003].Meanwhile,the overall survival(HR=0.99,95%CI:0.72-1.37,and P=0.95)and disease control rate(OR=0.93,95%CI:0.45-0.91,P=0.84)were not significantly *** terms of safety,the erlotinib and chemotherapy combination was associated with a significantly higher risk of diarrhea(OR=3.59,95%CI:1.63-7.90,P<0.05)and rash(OR=3.63,95%CI:1.64-8.01,P<0.05)compared with single-agent ***,the risk of vomiting(OR=1.27,95%CI:0.62-2.59,P=0.51),regurgitation/anorexia(OR=1.61,95%CI:0.25-10.31,P=0.62),and infection(OR=0.72,95%CI:0.28-1.87,P=0.50)were not significant in either *** Compared with a single chemotherapeutic modality,erlotinib combined with gemcitabine can prolong progression-free survival in pancreatic cancer,but does not improve survival benefit or disease control rate,and can increase the risk of diarrhea and rash.

Effect of constructing twin tunnels under a building supported by pile foundations in the Sydney central business district

Shape Control,Crystalline Conversion and Pseudocapacitance Properties of Mn3O4:Effects of Yb3+Doping

We report a facile method for the synthesis of manganese oxide（Mn3O4） nanorods via the direct reaction of MnCl2 and H2 O2 by doping Yb3＋ ions at room temperature and air atmosphere. The Mn3O4：Yb3＋ samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction（XRD）, scanning electron microscopy（SEM）, cyclic voltammetry（CVs）, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy（EIS）, and charging-discharging test（CD）. The results show that trace Yb3＋ doping（6 at%） could effectively induce crystalline transformation of Mn3O4 from cubic system（space group Fd-3 m） to tetragonal system（space group I41/amd） and incite the morphology changing from irregular particles to uniform nanorods. When Yb3＋ doping amount is 3%, the capacitance of Mn3O4 reaches the maximum, 246 F/g, which is related to the morphology change and the corresponding decrease of impedance.

Synthesis and luminescence properties of Mn^(3+),Bi^(3+) co-doped Y_6W0_(12) for blue phosphor

Mn^3＋ and Bi^3＋ co-doped Y6WO12 samples with hexagonal structure were synthesized via an improved salt pyrogenation method at a temperature region of 700-1100 ℃ for 3 h. In Y6WO12, Mn^3＋, substituting y^3＋, occupies a seven-coordination site and its energy levels are treated in near Oh symmetry. The samples doped by Mn^3＋ alone emit the most intensive blue light at 420 nm under excitation at 247 nm due to charge transition （CT）. The mechanism of sensitization of Bi^3＋ for Y6WO12：Mn^3＋ was also analyzed by taking account of metal-to-metal chargetransfer （MMCT） from Bi^3＋ to Mn^3＋. As a consequence, the phosphor Y6WO12：Mn^3＋/Bi^3＋ can emit blue light under radiation of 370 nm, and the emission intensity is enhanced about five times by the sensitizer Bi^3＋. The optimal doping concentration of Bi^3＋ is determined as 1 at% for the emission at 420 nm in Y6WO12：0.5 at% Mn^3＋ phosphors.

记述采自中国广西壮族自治区邕江和郁江鳅属Cobitis1新种,南方鳅Cobitis australis ***.。通过扩增其线粒体细胞色素b基因,与已知鳅属和益秀朝鲜鳅属Iksookimia物种进行遗传距离比较,并构建系统发育树,结合形态分析,确认其为1新种。南方鳅与本属其它种类的区别主要为:噶氏斑纹分界不明显(Gambetta's pigmentation pattern),斑纹具两性异形。雄性背部斑纹不规则,约17～20个,背鳍后斑纹融合为马鞍形;雌性背部斑纹约13个,背鳍前斑纹在体侧延伸为三角形。体侧中线11～13个不规则的"V"形或倒三角形斑纹,雄性头后4～5个小斑纹,雌性1～2个小斑纹。背部和体侧中线之间为形状和大小不规则的斑纹,雄性多于20个,该处斑纹与背部和体侧中线斑纹有融合;雌性少于20个,无融合。背鳍和尾鳍各具有4～5列点状条纹;雄性胸鳍第1根分枝鳍条基部的骨质突起(laminacir cularis)指状,第1根分支鳍条延长,胸鳍似旗状;体鳞较大,延长,卵圆形,鳞焦略大,基位;颏叶不发达,末端钝圆;须短,其长等于或略小于眼径。新种体色斑纹与益秀朝鲜鳅属种类相似,新种与益秀朝鲜鳅Iksookimia koreensis(Kim,1975)和斑纹益秀朝鲜鳅Iksookimia pumila(Kim et Lee,1987)的主要区别是,前者背鳍和尾鳍各具4～5条斑纹,背部斑纹和体侧中线斑纹不相连,体侧中线11～13个宽而短的倒三角形斑纹;益秀朝鲜鳅背鳍和尾鳍各具有3～4列条纹,体侧中线下13～14个窄而长的倒三角形斑纹;斑纹益秀朝鲜鳅背鳍和尾鳍各具有2～3列条纹,背部斑纹和体侧中线斑纹相连,两列斑纹之间斑块少于10个,体侧中线9～10个宽而长的条状或倒三角形斑纹。新种与盈德益秀朝鲜鳅Iksookimia yongdokensis Kimet Park,1997、休氏益秀朝鲜鳅Iksookimia hugowolfeldi Nalbant,1993和长身益秀朝鲜鳅Iksookimia longicor pus(Kim,Choi and Nalbant,1976)的主要区别是,前者骨质突起指状,后者骨质突起圆盘状。

Under-forest Breeding Pattern and the Practice Form

Through the development in recent years, China's under-forest breeding pattern can be divided into four kinds of practice form of under-forest breeding pattern (the pattern of breeding driven by leading enterprises; the pattern of breeding driven by intermediary economic organizations; the pattern of breeding driven by the professional wholesale market; the pattern of breeding driven by the modern animal husbandry demonstration areas), according to difference in the main body participating in signing the operation contract in breeding pattern. In the production practice of under-forest breeding pattern, the most widely used and successful pattern is the pattern of breeding driven by leading enterprises and its derivative forms.

Near-field terahertz nonlinear optics with blue light

The coupling of terahertz optical techniques to scattering-type scanning near-field microscopy(s-SNOM)has recently emerged as a valuable new paradigm for probing the properties of semiconductors and other materials on the *** have demonstrated a family of related techniques,including terahertz nanoscopy(elastic scattering,based on linear optics),time-resolved methods,and nanoscale terahertz emission ***,as with nearly all examples of s-SNOM since the technique’s inception in the mid-1990s,the wavelength of the optical source coupled to the near-field tip is long,usually at energies of 2.5 eV or *** in coupling of shorter wavelengths(i.e.,blue light)to the nanotip has greatly inhibited the study of nanoscale phenomena in wide bandgap materials such as Si and ***,we describe the first experimental demonstration of s-SNOM using blue *** femtosecond pulses at 410 nm,we generate terahertz pulses directly from bulk silicon,spatially resolved with nanoscale resolution,and show that these signals provide spectroscopic information that cannot be obtained using near-infrared *** develop a new theoretical framework to account for this nonlinear interaction,which enables accurate extraction of material *** work establishes a new realm of possibilities for the study of technologically relevant wide-bandgap materials using s-SNOM methods.
