The performance of photovoltaic (PV) systems is influenced by various factors, including atmospheric conditions, geographical locations, and spatial and temporal characteristics. Consequently, the optimization of PV systems relies heavily on the global maximum power point tracking (GMPPT) methods. In this paper, we adopt virtual reality (VR) technology to visualize PV entities and simulate their performances. The integration of VR technology introduces a novel spatial and temporal dimension to the shading pattern recognition (SPR) of PV systems, thereby enhancing their descriptive capabilities. Furthermore, we introduce an interactive GMPPT (IGMPPT) method based on VR technology. This method leverages interactive search techniques to narrow down search regions, thereby enhancing the search efficiency. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed IGMPPT in representing the spatial and temporal characteristics of PV systems and improving the efficiency of GMPPT.

Cyanobacterial harmful algal blooms(CyanoHABs)in inland waters are now among the most pressing environmental issues worldwide,especially in *** remote sensing has limitations in monitoring CyanoHABs in small water bodies due to spatial and temporal resolution *** literature and news media have the potential to supplement satellite remote sensing in monitoring CyanoHABs,they have currently not received sufficient *** this study,we combined information on the distributions of CyanoHABs from literature and media for the first time to comprehensively assess the spatiotemporal variation in CyanoHABs in *** collected,cleaned,validated,and organized data from literature and media on CyanoHABs in China,resulting in the establishment of a comprehensive database on CyanoHABs in China's inland waters(ChinaCyanoDB)covering 198 water bodies,525 records for *** majority of water bodies with CyanoHABs(CyanoWaters)are located in the eastern China,mainly concentrated in the middle and lower Yangtze region,with a clear upward trend in their number over the last four *** ChinaCyanoDB and analytical results can provide valuable data support for monitoring and managing CyanoHABs in China while the database construction method may also be applied to other countries and regions.

Classical simulations of quantum circuits are limited in both space and time when the qubit count is above 50, the realm where quantum supremacy reigns. However, recently, for the low depth circuit with more than 50 qubits, there are several methods of simulation proposed by teams at Google and IBM. Here,we present a scheme of simulation which can extract a large amount of measurement outcomes within a short time, achieving a 64-qubit simulation of a universal random circuit of depth 22 using a 128-node cluster, and 56-and 42-qubit circuits on a single PC. We also estimate that a 72-qubit circuit of depth 23 can be simulated in about 16 h on a supercomputer identical to that used by the IBM team. Moreover, the simulation processes are exceedingly separable, hence parallelizable, involving just a few inter-process communications. Our work enables simulating more qubits with less hardware burden and provides a new perspective for classical simulations.

Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370 disappeared on 8 March 2014, while flying from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. A flaperon from the flight was found on Reunion Island in July 2015. Two more confirmed pieces of debris were found in Mauritius and Tanzania, and 19 unconfirmed items were found off Mozambique, South Africa, and Madagascar. Drift buoys originating from the designated underwater search area arrived in Reunion Island, Mauritius, and Tanzania. Some of these buoys took a similarly long time as did real debris to reach these destinations, following a heading northeast and then west. For the present study, a maritime object drift prediction model was developed. ＂High resolution surface currents, Stokes drift, and winds＂ were processed, and a series of model experiments were constructed. The predicted trajectories of the modeled objects were similar to the observed trajectories of the drift buoys. Many modeled objects drifted northward then westward, ending up in Reunion Island, Mauritius, and Tanzania with probabilities of 5%0, 5%0, and 19%o, respectively. At the end of the simulation, most objects were located near 10~S in the western Indian Ocean. There were significant differences between experiments with different leeway factors, possibly because of the influence of southeast trade winds. The north part of the underwater search area is most likely to be the crash site, because the predicted trajectories of objects originating here are consistent with the many pieces of debris found along the east coast of Africa and the absence of such findings on the west coast of Australia.

AstroSat Observations of the Be/X-Ray Binary XTE J1946+274 During 2018 and 2021 Outbursts

We present the timing and spectral studies of the Be/X-ray binary XTE J1946+274 during its 2018 and 2021 giant outbursts using observations with the SXT and LAXPC instruments on the AstroSat *** the 1998 and 2010 outbursts,where a giant outburst was followed by several low intensity periodic outbursts,the 2018 and 2021 outbursts were single *** X-ray pulsations are detected over a broad energy band covering 0.5–80 keV from the compact *** construct the spin evolution history of the pulsar over two decades and find that the pulsar spins-up during the outbursts but switches to spin-down state in the quiescent periods between the *** resolved pulse profiles generated in several bands in 0.5–80 keV show that the pulse shape varies with the *** energy spectrum of the pulsar is determined for the 2018 and 2021 *** best fit spectral models require presence of cyclotron resonant scattering feature at about 43 keV in the energy spectra of both the *** find indication of possible reversal in the correlation between the cyclotron line energy and luminosity which needs to be ascertained from future *** the best fit spectra the X-ray luminosity of XTE J1946+274 is inferred to be 2.7×10^(37) erg s^(-1) for the 2018 observations and 2.3×10^(37) erg s^(-1) for the 2021 *** discuss possible mechanisms which can drive outbursts in this transient Be X-ray binary.
