Inertial characteristics of non-cooperative targets are crucial for space capture and subsequent on-orbit servicing. Previous methods for identifying inertial parameters involve proximity operations, which are associated with the risk of collision with non-cooperative targets. This paper introduces a long-range, contactless method for identifying the inertial parameters of a noncooperative target during the pre-capture phase. Specifically, electrostatic interaction is used as an external excitation to alter the target's motion. A force estimation algorithm that uses measurements from visual and potential sensors is proposed to estimate the electrostatic interaction and eliminate the need for force sensors. Furthermore, a recursive estimation-identification framework is presented to concurrently estimate the coupled motion state, weak electrostatic interaction, and inertial parameters of the target. The simulation results show that the proposed method extends the identification distance to 170 times that of the previous method while maintaining high identification precision for all parameters.

The navigation system plays a pivotal role in guiding aircraft along designated routes, ensuring precise and punctual arrival at destinations. The integration of scene matching with an inertial navigation system enhances the capability of providing a dependable guarantee for successful accomplishment of flight missions. Nonetheless, assuring reliability in scene matching encounters significant challenges in areas characterized by repetitive or weak textures. To tackle these challenges, we propose a novel method to assess the reliability of scene matching based on the distinctive characteristics of correlation peaks. The proposed method leverages the fact that the similarity of the optimal matching result is significantly higher than that of the surrounding area, and three novel indicators (e.g., relative height, slope of a correlation peak, and ratio of a sub peak to the main peak) are determined to conjointly evaluate the reliability of scene matching. The proposed method entails matching a real-time image with a reference image to generate a correlation surface. A correlation peak is then obtained by extracting the portion of the correlation surface exhibiting a significant gradient. Additionally, the matching reliability is determined by considering the relative height, slope, and ratio of the peak collectively. Exhaustive experimental results with two sets of data demonstrate that the proposed method significantly outperforms traditional approaches in terms of precision, recall, and F1-score. These experiments also establish the efficacy of the proposed method in achieving reliable matching in challenging environments characterized by repetitive and weak textures. This enhancement holds the potential to significantly elevate scene-matching-based navigation. In the context of increasing dimensionality of design variables and the complexity of constraints, the efficacy of Surrogate-Based Optimization (SBO) is limited. The traditional linear and nonlinear dimensionality reduction algorithms are mainly to decompose the mathematical matrix composed of design variables or objective functions in various forms, the smoothness of the design space cannot be guaranteed in the process, and additional constraint functions need to be added in the optimization, which increases the calculation cost. This study presents a new parameterization method to improve both problems of SBO. The new parameterization is addressed by decoupling affine transformations (dilation, rotation, shearing, and translation) within the Grassmannian submanifold, which enables a separate representation of the physical information of the airfoil in a highdimensional space. Building upon this, Principal Geodesic Analysis (PGA) is employed to achieve geometric control, compress the design space, reduce the number of design variables, reduce the dimensions of design variables and enhance predictive performance during the surrogate optimization process. For comparison, a dimensionality reduction space is defined using 95% of the energy, and RAE 2822 for transonic conditions are used as demonstrations. This method significantly enhances the optimization efficiency of the surrogate model while effectively enabling geometric constraints. In three-dimensional problems, it enables simultaneous design of planar shapes for various components of the aircraft and high-order perturbation deformations. Optimization was applied to the ONERA M6 wing, achieving a lift-drag ratio of 18.09, representing a 27.25% improvement compared to the baseline configuration. In comparison to conventional surrogate model optimization methods, which only achieved a 17.97% improvement, this approach demonstrates its superiority. Regarding laminated structures, an electromechanically coupled Finite Element (FE) model based on Layerwise Third-Order Shear Deformation (LW-TOSD) theory is proposed for static and dynamic analysis. LW-TOSD ensures the continuity of in-plane displacements and transverse shear stresses. The current LW-TOSD can be applied to arbitrary multi-layer laminated structures with only seven Degrees of Freedom (DOFs) for each element node and eliminates the use of the shear correction factors. Moreover, a shear penalty stiffness matrix is constructed to satisfy artificial constraints to optimize the structural shear strain. A dynamic finite element model is obtained based on LW-TOSD using the Hamilton's principle. First, the accuracy of the current model is validated by comparing with literature and ABAQUS results. Then, this study carries out numerical investigations of piezolaminated structures for different width-to-thickness ratios, length-to-width ratios, penalty stiffness matrix, boundary conditions, electric fields and dynamics. In this paper, continuous time-varying stabilizing controllers for the type of general nonholonomic systems proposed and treated in part 1 are designed using the fully actuated system(FAS) approach. The key step is to differentiate the first scalar equation, and by control of the obtained second-order scalar system, a proportional plus integral feedback form for the first control variable is obtained. With the solution to this designed second-order scalar system, the rest equations in the nonholonomic system form an independent time-varying subsystem which is then handled by the FAS approach. The overall designed controller contains an almost arbitrarily chosen design parameter, and is proven to guarantee the uniformly and globally exponential stability of the closed-loop system. The proposed approach is simple and effective,and is demonstrated with a practical example of ship control.

Horizontal segregation has been a constraint to the development and application of super-high bed *** eliminate the horizontal segregation of super-high bed sintering,several typical sintering machines were sampled and analyzed,and theoretical calculation was made to compare the bed depth and their differences in different areas within the mixture ***,solutions were proposed and applied to a 265 m^(2) sintering *** results showed that the horizontal seg-regation of the 265 m^(2) sintering machine was dominated by particles larger than 8 mm with horizontal segregation degree of 0.48,while 360 and 550 m^(2) sintering machines were affected by 5-8 mm and 1-3 mm particles with horizontal segregation degree of 0.27 and 0.31,*** analysis indicated the different segregation distribution results from the matching of the bed depth of each area within the mixture ***,the horizontal segregation degree not larger than 0.06 was achieved by optimizing the time parameters and the division of three zones on the 265 m^(2) sintering machine.

Fluidization technology has been used in CO 2 capture processes, the successful design and operation of the heat exchangers involved in this process require much information on the bed-to-wall heat transfer of the sorbent particles in fluidized states. In this study, the bed-to-wall heat transfer coefficient ( h ) of a solid amine sorbent was measured by a heat transfer probe in a large-scale circulating fluidized bed cold model unit, where full spectrum of fluidization regimes can be realized. The corresponding hydrodynamic signals were also studied by pressure sensors and optical fiber probes to further explain the newly discovered phenomenon. The results show that in a dense bed, due to the counterbalanced effect of time fraction of packet and packet renewal frequency, h of the Geldart B particle reaches a peak within the bubbling fluidized regime, and the radial distribution of h are opposite in bubbling and turbulent fluidized regimes. In a fast fluidization regime, gas convection becomes the dominant factor affecting h when the solids holdup is low enough. Correlations were provided or recommended to guide the design of heat exchangers in the fluidized bed CO 2 capture processes. Ammonia(NH_(3))emission has caused serious environment issues and aroused worldwide *** emerging ionic liquid(IL)provides a greener way to efficiently capture NH_(3).This paper provides rigorous process simulation,optimization and assessment for a novel NH_(3)deep purification process using *** process was designed and investigated by simulation and optimization using ionic liquid[C_(4)im][NTF_(2)]as *** objective functions,total purification cost(TPC),total process CO_(2)emission(TPCOE)and thermal efficiency(ηeff)were employed to optimize the absorption *** simulation and optimization results indicate that at same purification standard and recovery rate,the novel process can achieve lower cost and CO_(2)emission compared to benchmark *** process optimization,the optimal functions can achieve 0.02726$/Nm~3(TPC),311.27 kg CO_(2)/hr(TP-COE),and 52.21%(ηeff)for enhanced ***,compared with conventional process,novel process could decrease over$3 million of purification cost and 10000 tons of CO_(2)emission during the life *** results provide a novel strategy and guidance for deep purification of NH_(3)capture.

Super-high bed sintering process is an important development direction of iron ore sintering for its lower emission and higher ***,there is a lack of deep understanding of the uneven quality of super-high bed sintering products,and the deterioration of reduction disintegration performance,the thickening of hearth layer and the reduction in energy-saving effect are perplexing enterprises and *** ascertain the problems of super-high bed sintering,ten sintering machines with the areas of 265,280,360,550 and 660 m^(2)and bed depth above 900 mm were sampled and *** results showed that problems were mainly shown in the unevenness of chemical composition,macrostructure,mechanical strength and metallurgical *** chemical composition exhibits severe segregation in both horizontal and vertical directions,with basicity segregation reaching as high as *** uneven macrostructure of sinter is reflected in a 10%difference in porosity and mechanical strength increase in 16%–19%along the vertical *** reducibility and reduction disintegration performance gradually deteriorate along the bed depth,with a difference of 10.5%in reducibility and 7.3%in RDI−0.5 mm(reduction disintegration index of sinter with size smaller than 0.5 mm).
