This work aims to prepare chitosan(CS)-based coated layers,CS(10 wt%nanosilver/90 wt%CS,10 wt%biotin/90 wt%CS,and 5 wt%nanosilver–5 wt%biotin)/90 wt%CS coatings are prepared,onto pure Ti *** surface morphology of the novel CS composite coating was studied using field emission scanning electron microscopy,atomic force microscopy(AFM),Fourier transforms infrared(FTIR)and wettability *** show that the addition of(biotin,nanosilver)5 Vol.%improves the properties of composite *** different particles’scale size aid in improving the combinations in the alginate,producing a dual effect on film *** surface roughness decreased in the chitosan-based biocomposite with preferable homogeneity and crack-free coating layers,as confirmed by *** increase in surface roughness ensured substitution,which enhanced the surface *** high wettability of the CS-based coating layers was due to the presence of nanoparticles,and the composite coatings with CS,nanosilver,or biotin had excellent wettability because of the good hydrophilic nature of the CS matrix combined with reinforced *** FTIR results showed that peaks of the blending of CS plus nanoparticles,CS plus biotin,or CS plus nanosilver plus biotin were excellent matching with no changes in the structure of the matrix.

Monopiles are the most common foundation form of offshore wind turbines,which bear the vertical load,lateral load and bending *** remains uncertain whether the applied vertical load increases the lateral deflection of the *** paper investigated the influence of vertical load on the behaviour of monopiles installed in the sand under combined load using three-dimensional numerical *** commercial software PLAXIS was used for simulations in this *** were modelled as a structure incorporating linear elastic material behaviour and soil was modelled using the Hardening-Soil(HS)constitutive *** monopiles under vertical load,lateral load and combined vertical and lateral loads were respectively studied taking into account the sequence of load application and pile slenderness ratio(L/D;L and D are the length and diameter of the pile).Results suggest that the sequence of load application plays a major role in how vertical load affects the deflection behaviour of the ***,when L/D ratios obtained by lengthening the pile while keeping its diameter constant are 3,5 and 8,the relationships between lateral load and the deflection behaviour of the pile under the effect of vertical load demonstrate a similar ***,the cause of increased lateral capacity of the pile under the action of applied vertical load in the common practical application case and in the VPL case was analyzed by studying the variation law of soil stress along the pile *** confirm that the confining effect of vertical load increases means effective stress of the soil around the pile,thus increasing soil stiffness and pile capacity.

Poly（4-vinyl pyridine） supported nanoparticle of copper（Ⅰ） iodide is reported as a green and recyclable catalyst for the regioselective synthesis of 1,4-disubstituted-1H-1,2,3-triazoles from benzyl halides,sodium azide and terminal alkynes in water. This catalyst can be recovered by simple filtration and recycled up to 8 consecutive runs without any loss of its efficiency.

HIsarna is a promising ironmaking technology to reduce CO2 *** of phase transformation is essential for reaction analysis of the cyclone reactor of the HIsarna *** addition,data of density and volume of the ore particles are necessary for estimation of the residence time of the particles in the cyclone *** transformation of iron ore particles was experimentally studied in a drop-tube furnace under simulated cyclone conditions and compared with thermodynamic *** the pre-reduction process inside the reactor,the mineralogy of iron ore particles transforms sequentially from hematite to *** density changes of the particles during the melting and reduction can be predicted based on the phase composition and ***,density models in the studies were evaluated with reported experimental data of *** a result,a more reliable density model was developed to calculate the density of the formed slag containing mainly FeO–*** density and volume of the partially reduced ore particles or melt droplets were estimated based on this *** results show that the density of the ore particles decreases by 15.1%at most along the progressive reduction ***,the model results also indicate that heating,melting and reduction of the ore could lead to 6.63%–9.37%swelling of the particles,which is mostly contributed by thermal *** would result in corresponding variation in velocity of the ore particles or melt droplets during the flight inside the reactor.

This paper is ***,the effect of non-linear thermophysical property variation was presented using supercritical carbon dioxide(SCO_(2))around the thermodynamic pivotal *** second part exhibits an experimental examination of the heat transfer(HT)behaviour of SCO_(2) in a helical tube with a hydraulic diameter of 2 mm at different mass fluxes(MF),heat fluxes(HF),and pressures(P).The experiments were carried out based on various pressures,mass fluxes,and heat fluxes for both ***_(2) was cooled in a 2 mm diameter serpentine tube made of copper *** experimental results showed that HT degradation could happen under the circumstances of a change in HF and MF and have significant effects on fluid inflow and HT ***,buoyancy plays an essential and influential role in the HT *** increasing the pressure value,the HT parameters decrease when the pressure reaches 8 MPa,and the flotation value is more significant,which means a decrease in the HT ***,under the system circumstances,the HT value decreases with the increase in heat flux and pressure and increases with the increment in MF.

We report results of a large computational ＇alloy by design＇ study, in which the ＇chemical composition-mechanical strength＇ space is explored for austenitic, ferritic and martensitic creep resistant steels. The approach used allows simultaneously optimization of alloy composition and processing parameters based on the integration of thermodynamic, thermo-kinetics and a genetic algorithm optimization route. The nature of the optimisation depends on both the intended matrix（ferritic, martensitic or austenitic） and the desired precipitation family. The models are validated by analysing reported strengths of existing steels. All newly designed alloys are predicted to outperform existing high end reference grades.

This paper discusses the design and software-in-theloop implementation of adaptive formation controllers for fixedwing unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs) with parametric uncertainty in their structure, namely uncertain mass and inertia. In fact, when aiming at autonomous flight, such parameters cannot assumed to be known as they might vary during the mission(*** on the payload). Modeling and autopilot design for such autonomous fixed-wing UAVs are presented. The modeling is implemented in Matlab, while the autopilot is based on ArduPilot, a popular open-source autopilot suite. Specifically, the ArduP ilot functionalities are emulated in Matlab according to the Ardupilot documentation and code, which allows us to perform software-in-the-loop simulations of teams of UAVs embedded with actual autopilot protocols. An overview of realtime path planning, trajectory tracking and formation control resulting from the proposed platform is given. The software-inthe-loop simulations show the capability of achieving different UAV formations while handling uncertain mass and inertia.

Whilst much attention has been given to models that describe wave, tide and sediment transport processes in sufficient detail to determine the local changes in bed level over a relatively detailed representation of the bathymetry, far less attention has been given to models that consider the problem at a much larger scale （e.g. that of geomorphological elements such as a tidal flat and tidal channel）. Such aggregated or lumped models tend not to represent the processes in detail but rather capture the behaviour at the scale of interest. One such model developed using the concept of an equilibrium concentration is the Aggregated Scale Morphological Interaction between Tidal basin and Adjacent coast （ASMITA）. In a companion paper （Part 1）, we detail the original model and provide some new insights into the concepts of equilibrium, and horizontal and vertical exchange that are key components of this modelling approach. In this paper, we summarise a range of developments that have been undertaken to extend the original model concept, to illustrate the flexibility and power of the conceptual framework. However, adding detail progressively moves the model in the direction of the more detailed process-based models and we give some consideration to the boundary between the two.
