Finite-time stability of a class of fractional-order neural networks is investigated in this paper. By Laplace transform, the generalized Gronwa11 inequality and estimates of Mittag-Leffier functions, sufficient conditions are pre- sented to ensure the finite-time stability of such neural models with the Caputo fractionM derivatives. Furthermore, results about asymptotical stability of fractional-order neural models are also obtained.

In catalysis,tuning the structural composition of the metal alloy is known as an efficient way to optimize the catalytic *** work presents the synthesis of compositional segregated six-armed PtCu nanostars via a facile solvothermal method and their distinct composition-structure-dependent performances in electrooxidation *** alloy is shown to have a unique six arms with a Cu-rich dodecahedral core,mainly composed of {110} facets and exhibit superior catalytic activity toward alcohols electrooxidation compared to the hollow counterpart where Cu was selectively *** functional theory (DFT) calculations suggest that the formation of hydroxyl intermediate (OH^*) is crucial to detoxify CO poisoning during the electrooxidation *** addition of Cu is found to effectively adjust the d band location of the alloy catalyst and thus enhance the formation of ^*OH intermediate from water splitting,which decreases the coverage of ^*CO *** work demonstrates that the unique compositional anisotropy in alloy catalyst may boost their applications in electrocatalysis and provides a methodology for the design of this type catalyst.

Although intermolecular aggregation-induced emission(AIE)has been extensively studied in nanocluster science,it remains challenging to activate AIE via intracluster aggregation(i.e.,the aggregation at the single-molecular level).Here,an intracluster AIE system based on the Pt_(1)Ag_(24)(SR)18 nanocluster has been ***,triggered by the addition of free thiol ligands,the Ag_(2)(SR)_(3)surface motif structures of Pt_(1)Ag_(24)(SR)18 are aggregated to nanocluster poles.

Whitham–Broer–Kaup(WBK) equations in the shallow water small-amplitude regime is hereby under investigation. Nonlocal symmetry and Bcklund transformation are presented via the truncated Painlevé *** residual symmetry is localised to Lie point symmetry by the properly enlarged system. The finite symmetry transformation of the prolonged system is computed. Based on the CTE method, WBK equations are linearized and new analytic interaction solutions between solitary waves and cnoidal waves are given with the aid of solutions for the linear equation.

We investigate the effects of pure Dzyaloshinskii Moriya （DM） interaction with magnetic field on entanglement in intrinsic decoherence, assuming that the system is initially in four Bell states ｜φ±〉 = （｜00） ± ｜11〉）/√2 and ｜ψ±〉 = （｜01） ±｜10〉）/√2, respectively. It is found that if the system is initially in the state p1（0） = ｜φ＋〉〈φ＋1, the entanglement can obtain its maximum when the DM interaction vector D is in the plane of XOZ and magnetic field B = By with the infinite time t, moreover the entanglement is independent of By and t when By is perpendicular to D. In addition, we obtain similar results when the system is initially in the states p2（0） = ｜φ-〉〈φ-｜ or p3 （0） = ｜ψ＋〉〈ψ＋1. However, we find that if the system is initially in the state P4 （0） = ｜ψ-〉〈ψ-l, the entanglement can obtain its maximum for infinite t, when the DM vector is in the plane ofYOZ, XOZ, or XOY, with the magnetic field parallel to X, Y, or Z axis, respectively. Moreover, when the axial B is perpendicular to D for the initial state p4（O）, the negativity oscillates with time t and reaches a stable value, the larger the value of B is, the greater the stable value is, and the shorter the oscillation time of the negativity is. Thus we can adjust the direction and value of the external magnetic field to obtain the maximal entanglement, and avoid the adverse effects of external environment in some initial state. This is feasible within the cun＇ent experimental technology.

Quantum correlations in a family of bipartite separable qubit-qutrit quantum-classical correlated states are investigated by using two popular measures,i.e.,the original quantum discord(OQD)method by Ollivier and Zurek[***.88(2001)017901]and the measurement-induced disturbance(MID)method by Luo[***.A 77(2008)022301].It is found that both of them are functions of a parameter partially characterizing the concerned states,however,quantum correlations evaluated via the convenient MID method are somewhat overestimated.

Three-dimensional （3D） hierarchical Co3O4 microcrystal with radial dendritic morphologies was prepared through hydrothermal reactions followed by subsequent annealing treatment. Structural and morphological characterizations were performed by X-ray diffraction, scan-ning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. The gas sensing properties of the as-obtained microcrystal were investigated at 110 oC, which revealed that the 3D hierarchical porous Co3O4 microcrystal exhibited high sensitivity to ammonia, as well as a short response time of 10 s. The response characteristic indicates that the sensor has a good stability and reversibility. Detections of toxic and flammable gases, such as ethanol, acetone and benzene were also carried out at a relative low temperature. The results indicate that such hierarchical Co3O4 microcrystal would be a potential material in the field of gas sensing.
