The development of ion-assisted aerosol lithography （IAAL） has enabled fabrication of complex three- dimensional nanoparticle （NP） structures on conducting substrates. In this work, the applicability of the IAAL technique was investigated on non-conducting substrates. The NP structure growth process on a non-conducting substrate was found to self-terminate and the structures subsequently repel incoming charged NPs and scatter them away. Electric field calculations supported the experimental findings and confirmed that the electric field distortions owing to charge build-up within the structures prevented additional NP deposition thereon. To regulate the charge build-up without compromising the number of NPs available for assembly, a corona discharger and an ion trap were implemented. By varying the number of ions available in the assembly process, an optimum level of ion injection was found that allowed for a prolonged （〉120 rain） assembly of NP structures on non-conducting substrates without the unwanted scattering of NPs.

An Extended Kalman Filter（EKF） is commonly used to fuse raw Global Navigation Satellite System（GNSS） measurements and Inertial Navigation System（INS） derived measurements. However, the Conventional EKF（CEKF） suffers the problem for which the uncertainty of the statistical properties to dynamic and measurement models will degrade the *** this research, an Adaptive Interacting Multiple Model（AIMM） filter is developed to enhance performance. The soft-switching property of Interacting Multiple Model（IMM） algorithm allows the adaptation between two levels of process noise, namely lower and upper bounds of the process noise. In particular, the Sage adaptive filtering is applied to adapt the measurement covariance on line. In addition, a classified measurement update strategy is utilized, which updates the pseudorange and Doppler observations sequentially. A field experiment was conducted to validate the proposed algorithm, the pseudorange and Doppler observations from Global Positioning System（GPS） and Bei Dou Navigation Satellite System（BDS） were post-processed in differential *** results indicate that decimeter-level positioning accuracy is achievable with AIMM for GPS/INS and GPS/BDS/INS configurations, and the position accuracy is improved by 35.8%, 34.3% and 33.9% for north, east and height components, respectively, compared to the CEKF counterpartfor GPS/BDS/INS. Degraded performance for BDS/INS is obtained due to the lower precision of BDS pseudorange observations.

The effect of ultraviolet-ozone(UVO)irradiation on amorphous(am)SnO_(2) and its impact on the photoconversion efficiency of MAPbI3-based perovskite solar cells were investigated in *** treatment was found to increase the amount of chemisorbed oxygen on the am-SnO_(2) surface,reducing the surface energy and contact *** changes in the am-SnO_(2) surface lowered the Gibbs free energy for the densification of perovskite films and facilitated the formation of homogeneous perovskite *** addition,the Fermi energy of the UVO-treated am-SnO_(2) shifted upwards to achieve an ideal band offset for MAPbI3,which was verified by theoretical calculations based on the density functional *** achieved a champion efficiency of 19.01% with a statistical reproducibility of 17.01±1.34% owing to improved perovskite film densification and enhanced charge transport/extraction,which is considerably higher than the 13.78±2.15% of the ***,UVO-treated,am-SnO_(2)-based devices showed improved stability and less hysteresis,which is encouraging for the future application of up-scaled perovskite solar cells.

A facile and green preparation of high surface area activated carbons with mixed microporosity and mesoporosity from durian shell waste is reported in this *** pore structure and surface chemistry of the parent carbon were modified by the combination of ultrasonication and microwave irradiation *** effects of temperature and time in the ultrasonication treatment and power output and time in the microwave irradiation were studied. The electrochemical performance of carbon electrodes for supercapacitors was tested by cyclic voltammeter(CV) and galvanostatic *** results show that the capacitive energy storage of electrodes is critically dependent on the microporosity and surface chemistry of activated *** highest electrode capacitance in this work was 103.6 F/g that prepared from activated carbon modified at an ultrasonication temperature of 323.15 K for 10 min and microwave power output of 900 W for 10 min.

Tetrahedral amorphous carbon(ta‐C)has emerged as an excellent coating material for improving the reliability of application components under high normal ***,we present the results of our investigations regarding the mechanical and tribological properties of a 2‐μm‐thick multilayer ta‐C coating on high‐speed steel *** composed of alternating soft and hard layers are fabricated using filtered a cathodic vacuum arc with alternating substrate bias voltages(0 and 100 V or 0 and 150 V).The thickness ratio is discovered to be 1:3 for the sp2‐rich and sp3‐rich *** results show that the hardness and elastic modulus of the multilayer ta‐C coatings increase with the sp3 content of the hard *** hardness reached approximately 37 GPa,whereas an improved toughness and a higher adhesion strength(>29 N)are *** friction performance(μ=0.07)of the multilayer coating is similar to that of the single layer ta‐C thick coating,but the wear rate(0.13×10^(–6) mm^(3)/(N∙m))improved under a high load of 30 *** further demonstrate the importance of the multilayer structure in suppressing crack propagation and increasing the resistance to plastic deformation(H3/E2)ratio.

Although dense interconnection datacenter networks(DCNs)(e.g.,Fat Tree) provide multiple paths and high bisection bandwidth for each server pair,the widely used single-path Transmission Control Protocol(TCP)and equal-cost multipath(ECMP) transport protocols cannot achieve high resource utilization due to poor resource excavation and *** this paper,we present LESSOR,a performance-oriented multipath forwarding scheme to improve DCNs' resource *** adopting an Open Flow-based centralized control mechanism,LESSOR computes near-optimal transmission path and bandwidth provision for each flow according to the global network view while maintaining nearly real-time network view with the performance-oriented flow observing *** and comprehensive simulations show that LESSOR can efficiently improve the network throughput,which is higher than ECMP by 4.9%–38.3% under different *** also provides 2%–27.7% improvement of throughput compared with ***,LESSOR decreases the average flow completion time significantly.

In photoelectrochemical （PEC） water splitting, charge separation and collection by the electric field in the photoactive material are the most important factors for improved conversion efficiency. Hence, ferroelectric oxides, in which electrons are the majority carriers, are considered promising photoanode materials because their high built-in potential, provided by their spontaneous polarization, can signifi＇canfly enhance the separation and drift of photogenerated carriers. In this regard, the PEC properties of BiFeO3 thin-film photoanodes with different crystallographic orientations and consequent ferroelectric domain structures are investigated. As the crystallographic orientation changes from （001）pc via （ll0）pc to （lll）p~, the ferroelastic domains in epitaxial BiFeO3 thin films become mono-variant and the spontaneous polarization levels increase to 110 btC/cm2. Consequent136 the photocurrent density at 0 V vs. Ag/AgC1 increases approximately 5.3-fold and the onset potential decreases by 0.180 V in the downward polarization state. It is further demonstrated that ferroelectric switching in the （lll）pc BiFeO3 thin-film photoanode leads to an approximate change of 8,000% in the photocurrent density and a 0.330 V shift in the onset potential. This study strongly suggests that domain-engineered ferroelectric materials can be used as effective charge separation and collection layers for efficient solar water-splitting photoanodes.
