AIM: To study the effect of copper transporting P-type ATPase in copper metabolism of hepatocyte and pathogenesis of Wilson disease (WD). METHODS: WD copper transporting properties in some organelles of the cultured hepatocytes were studied from WD patients and normal *** cultured hepatocytes were incubated in the media of copper 15 mg x L(-1) only, copper 15 mg x L(-1) with vincristine (agonist of P-type ATPase) 0.5mg x L(-1), or copper 15 mg x L(-1) with vanadate (antagonist of P-type ATPase) 18.39 mg x L(-1) separately. Microsome (endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi apparatus), lysosome, mitochondria, and cytosol were isolated by differential centrifugation. Copper contents in these organelles were measured with atomic absorption spectrophotometer, and the influence in copper transportion of these organelles by vanadate and vincristine were comparatively analyzed between WD patients and controls. WD copper transporting P-type ATPase was detected by SDS-PAGE in conjunction with Western blot in liver samples of WD patients and controls. RESULTS: The specific WD proteins (M(r)155,000 lanes) were expressed in human hepatocytes, including the control and WD patients. After incubation with medium containing copper for 2 h or 24 h, the microsome copper concentration in WD patients was obviously lower than that of controls, and the addition of vanadate or vincristine would change the copper transporting of microsomes obviously. When incubated with vincristine, levels of copper in microsome were significantly increased, while incubated with vanadate, the copper concentrations in microsome were obviously decreased. The results indicated that there were WD proteins, the copper transportion P-type ATPase in the microsome of hepatocytes. WD patients possessed abnormal copper transporting function of WD protein in the microsome, and the agonist might correct the defect of copper transportion by promoting the activity of copper transportion P-type ATPase. Aqueous Zn-iodine(Zn-I_(2))batteries have attracted extensive research interest as an emerging redox conversion energy storage system due to the low cost and high ***,the shuttling effects of polyiodides arising from incomplete redox conversion and inhomogeneous Zn plating on the Zn anode surface always hinder the commercial application of Zn-I_(2)*** this work,a two-birds-with-one-stone strategy is reported for long-life Zn-I_(2)*** on the strategy,the sulfonate-functionalized carbon fiber not only acts as the excellent iodine limiter to inhibit iodine species shuttling,but also as the uniform Zn plating guidance layer on the Zn anode surface to prevent the inhomogeneous deposition of Zn^(2+).Consequently,a superior cycling stability(a capacity of 124 mAh g^(-1)after 10,000 cycles at 5 A g^(-1))is *** calculations illustrate that sulfonate groups successfully induce charge redistribution on the carbon substrate,thereby strengthening the electronic interactions of the iodine species with the carbon *** charge-enriched sulfonate groups can guide the uniform deposition of Zn^(2+)through a strong Coulombic effect with Zn^(2+).This work gives a new perspective on the integrated design of cathodes and anodes for rechargeable batteries.

Background Bone morphogenetic proteins (BMPs), which be long to the transforming growth factor beta superfamily, are powerful regulators of cartilage and bone formation. This study investigated the biological change s of NIH3T3 cells incubated with secretive BMP2 that was induced by gene transfe ction through transwell. Methods Eukaryonic expression vector (pcDNA3.1-B2) was transf ered into NIH3T3 cells with Sofast TM,a positive compound transfection age nt. The positive cell clones were selected with G418. The cytoplasmic and extr acellular expressions of BMP2 were determined by immunohistochemical stain and e nzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. NIH3T3 cells were co-cultured with h BMP2 gene transfecting cells through transwell, and the ultrastruct ure, alkaline phosphatase activity and the expression of osteocalcin (the marker of osteogenetic differentiation) changes were observed. Results There were cytoplasmic and extracellular expressions of BMP2 in transfecting NIH3T3 cells. The ultrastructural changes, the high activ ity of alkaline phosphatase and the positive stain of osteocalcin suggested the osteogenetic differentiation tendency of NIH3T3 cells co-cultured with transfec ting NIH3T3 cells. Conclusion Secretive BMP2 that is induced by gene transfection could promote the osteogenetic differentiation of fibroblast cells.

Trace element(TE) and rare earth element(REE) contents in red soils from the Dongting Lake area of china.were determined to understanding the provenance and weathering characteristics of the red *** results showed similar REE distribution patterns among red soils from the Dongting Lake area,Xiashu loess from Zhenjiang,loess and Pliocene red soil from the Loess *** patterns implied a similar provenance from dust-storms,except for red soil R5 which formed by bedrock weathering and had significant light REE(LREE) enrichment and heavy REE(HREE) depletion due to longer weathering periods and higher intensity of *** element,especially the Rb/Sr and Li/Ba ratios,and REE,especially the LREE/HREE ratio and δEu could trace weathering *** Rb/Sr,Li/Ba,and LREE/HREE ratios and negative Eu anomalies were present in the red soils from the Dongting Lake *** weathering intensity was in the decreasing order of R5 in the Dongting Lake area > red soils from the Dongting Lake area(including reticulate red soil,weak reticulate red soil,and homogeneous red soil formed by dust storms) > Xiashu loess from Zhenjiang > loess-paleosol and Pliocene red soil from the Loess *** in the TE and REE contents of soil could be effectively used to study the provenance and the weathering intensity.

Task allocation is a key aspect of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)swarm collaborative *** an continuous increase of UAVs’scale and the complexity and uncertainty of tasks,existing methods have poor performance in computing efficiency,robustness,and realtime allocation,and there is a lack of theoretical analysis on the convergence and optimality of the *** paper presents a novel intelligent framework for distributed decision-making based on the evolutionary game theory to address task allocation for a UAV swarm system in uncertain scenarios.A task allocation model is designed with the local utility of an individual and the global utility of the ***,the paper analytically derives a potential function in the networked evolutionary potential game and proves that the optimal solution of the task allocation problem is a pure strategy Nash equilibrium of a finite strategy ***,a PayOff-based Time-Variant Log-linear Learning Algorithm(POTVLLA)is proposed,which includes a novel learning strategy based on payoffs for an individual and a time-dependent Boltzmann *** former aims to reduce the system’s computational burden and enhance the individual’s effectiveness,while the latter can ensure that the POTVLLA converges to the optimal Nash equilibrium with a probability of *** simulation results show that the approach is optimal,robust,scalable,and fast adaptable to environmental changes,even in some realistic situations where some UAVs or tasks are likely to be lost and increased,further validating the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed framework and algorithm.

The violent vibration of supersonic wings threatens aircraft *** paper proposes the strongly nonlinear acoustic metamaterial(NAM)method to mitigate aeroelastic vibration in supersonic wing *** employ the cantilever plate to simulate the practical behavior of a *** aeroelastic vibration model of the NAM cantilever plate is established based on the mode superposition method and a modified third-order piston *** aerodynamic properties are systematically studied using both the timedomain integration and frequency-domain harmonic balance *** presenting the flutter and post-flutter behaviors of the NAM wing,we emphasize more on the preflutter broadband vibration that is prevalent in *** results show that the NAM method can reduce the low-frequency and broadband pre-flutter steady vibration by 50%-90%,while the post-flutter vibration is reduced by over 95%,and the critical flutter velocity is also slightly *** clarified,the significant reduction arises from the bandgap,chaotic band,and nonlinear resonances of the NAM *** reduction effect is robust across a broad range of parameters,with optimal performance achieved with only 10%attached *** work offers a novel approach for reducing aeroelastic vibration in aircraft,and it expands the study of nonlinear acoustic/elastic metamaterials.
