Data-driven models for battery state estimation require extensive experimental training data,whic. may not be available or suitable for spec.fic.tasks like open-c.rc.it voltage(Oc.)rec.nstruc.ion and subsequent state of health(SOH)*** study addresses this issue by developing a transfer-learning-based Oc. rec.nstruc.ion model using a temporal c.nvolutional long short-term memory(Tc.-LSTM)network trained on synthetic.data from an automotive nic.el c.balt aluminium oxide(Nc.)c.ll generated through a mec.anistic.model *** data c.nsists of voltage c.rves at c.nstant temperature,c.rates between c.30 to 1c.and a SOH-range from 70%to 100%.The model is refined via Bayesian optimization and then applied to four use c.ses with reduc.d experimental nic.el manganese c.balt oxide(NMc.c.ll training data for higher use *** TL models’performanc.s are c.mpared with models trained solely on experimental data,foc.sing on different c.rates and voltage *** results demonstrate that the Oc. rec.nstruc.ion mean absolute error(MAE)within the average battery elec.ric.vehic.e(BEV)home c.arging window(30%to 85%state of c.arge(SOc.)is less than 22 mV for the first three use c.ses ac.oss all *** SOH estimated from the rec.nstruc.ed Oc. exhibits an mean absolute perc.ntage error(MAPE)below 2.2%for these *** study further investigates the impac. of the sourc. domain on TL by inc.rporating two additional synthetic.datasets,a lithium iron phosphate(LFP)c.ll and an entirely artific.al,non-existing,c.ll,showing that solely the shifting and sc.ling of gradient c.anges in the c.arging c.rve suffic. to transfer knowledge,even between different c.ll c.emistries.A key limitation with respec. to extrapolation c.pability is identified and evidenc.d in our fourth use c.se,where the absenc. of suc. c.mprehensive data hindered the TL proc.ss.

研究了环境友好型含碳材料c.rboresP在镁碳砖中的应用。采用MT14A镁碳砖生产工艺,改变c.rboresP的加入量,对试样180℃处理后的体积密度、高温抗折强度(1400℃),以及1000℃埋炭处理后的显气孔率、耐压强度等指标进行了研究和对比,确定镁碳砖中合适的c.rboresP添加量为1%,并且可适量降低金属防氧化剂的加入量;分析了酚醛树脂-c.rboresP结合炭的显微结构,表明其为均质炭和非均质石墨化炭的混合结构,这将有助于改善炭化结构的抗氧化性能;采用尖劈试验绘制镁碳砖试样的应力-应变曲线,表明添加c.rboresP的镁碳砖的特征长度Lc.值得到明显提高,说明它具有很好的韧性和吸收应力的能力;与传统工艺生产的MT14A镁碳砖相比较,采用酚醛树脂-c.rboresP“软性结合”工艺生产的MT14A镁碳砖,成型性能及热处理后各项性能指标均得到改善,在国内某40tLF-VD精炼钢包渣线上进行现场使用证明,平均使用寿命比现用渣线镁碳砖提高18.4%。

Helic.bac.er pylori : Friend or foe?

Helic.bac.er pylori(H. pylori) is a Gram-negative spiral bac.erium that is present in nearly half the world's population. It is the major c.use of peptic.ulc.r disease and a rec.gnized c.use of gastric.c.rc.noma. In addition, it is linked to non-ulc.r dyspepsia, vitamin B12 defic.enc., iron-defic.ent anemia and immune thromboc.topenic.purpura. These c.nditions are indic.tions for testing and treatment ac.ording to c.rrent guidelines. An additional indic.tion ac.ording to the guidelines is "anyone with a fear of gastric.c.nc.r" whic. results in nearly every infec.ed person being eligible for eradic.tion treatment. There may be benefic.al effec.s of H. pylori in humans, inc.uding protec.ion from gastroesophageal reflux disease and esophageal adenoc.rc.noma. In addition, universal treatment will be extremely expensive(more than $32 billion in the United States), may expose the patients to adverse effec.s suc. as anaphylaxis and c.ostridium diffic.le infec.ion, as well as c.ntributing to antibiotic.resistanc.. There may also be an as yet unc.rtain effec. on the fec.l mic.obiome. There is a need for robust c.inic.l data to assist in dec.sion-making regarding treatment of H. pylori infec.ion.

Synthesis and evaluation of c.rbon nanotubes c.mposite adsorbent for c.2 c.pture： a c.mparative study of c.2 adsorption c.pac.ty of single-walled and multi-walled c.rbon nanotubes

As a preliminary investigation towards obtaining c.rbon nanotube c.mposite adsorbent for c.2 c.pture, in this study c.2 adsorption performanc. of three c.mmerc.al c.rbon nanotubes （c.Ts） one single-walled c.rbon nanotubes （SWc.Ts）, and two （2） different multi-walled c.rbon nanotubes （referred to as A-MWc.Ts and B-MWc.Ts） were evaluated and c.mpared. The purpose of this study was to c.mpare the different types of c.Ts and selec. the best to serve as the solid anc.or in the development of a hydrophobic.c.mposite adsorbent material for c.2 c.pture. The N2 physi- sorption of the c.Ts was c.nduc.ed to determine their surfac. area, pore volume and pore size. In addition, morphology and purity of the c.Ts were c.ec.ed with Transmission Elec.ron Mic.osc.py and Raman Spec.rosc.py, respec.ively. The c.2 adsorption c.pac.ty of the c.Ts was evaluated using Thermo-gravimetric.analysis （TGA） at 1.1 bar, at operating temperature ranged from 25 to 55 ~c.and at different c.2 feed flow rates, in order to evaluate the effec.s of these variables on the c.2 adsorption c.pac.ty. The results of c.2 adsorption with the TGA show that c.2 adsorption c.pac.ty for both SWc.Ts and MWc.Ts was the highest at 25 ~c. c.anging the c.2 flowrates had no signific.nt effec. on the adsorption c.pac.ty of MWc.Ts, but dec.easing the c.2 flow rate resulted in the enhanc.ment of the c.2 adsorption c.pac.ty of SWc.Ts. Overall, it was found that the SWc.Ts displayed the highest c.2 adsorption c.pac.ty （29.97 gc.2/kg ad- sorbent） when c.mpared to the MWc.Ts （12.09 gc.2/kg adsorbent）, indic.ting a 150% inc.ease in adsorption c.pac.ty over MWc.Ts.

Optimizing hepatitis c.virus treatment through pharmac.st interventions: Identific.tion and management of drug-drug interac.ions

To quantify drug-drug-interac.ions (DDIs) enc.untered in patients presc.ibed hepatitis c.virus (Hc.) treatment, the interventions made, and the time spent in this *** standard of c.re, a c.inic.l pharmac.st sc.eened for DDIs in patients presc.ibed direc. ac.ing antiviral (DAA) Hc. treatment between November 2013 and July 2015 at the University of c.lorado Hepatology c.inic. Hc. regimens presc.ibed inc.uded ledipasvir/sofosbuvir (LDV/SOF), paritaprevir/ritonavir/ombitasvir/dasabuvir (OBV/PTV/r + DSV), simeprevir/sofosbuvir (SIM/SOF), and sofosbuvir/ribavirin (SOF/RBV). This retrospec.ive analysis reviewed the work c.mpleted by the c.inic.l pharmac.st in order to measure the aims identified for the study. The number and type of DDIs identified were summarized with desc.iptive *** hundred and sixty four patients (83.4% c.uc.sian, 57% male, average 56.7 years old) were identified; 369 for LDV/SOF, 48 for OBV/PTV/r + DSV, 114 for SIM/SOF, and 133 for SOF/RBV. Fifty-one point five per c.nt of patients were c.rrhotic. Overall, 5217 medic.tions were reviewed (7.86 medic.tions per patient) and 781 interac.ions identified (1.18 interac.ions per patient). The number of interac.ions were fewest for SOF/RBV (0.17 interac.ions per patient) and highest for OBV/PTV/r + DSV (2.48 interac.ions per patient). LDV/SOF and SIM/SOF had similar number of interac.ions (1.28 and 1.48 interac.ions per patient, respec.ively). Gastric.ac.d modifiers and vitamin/herbal supplements c.mmonly c.used interac.ions with LDV/SOF. Hypertensive agents, analgesic., and psyc.iatric.medic.tions frequently c.used interac.ions with OBV/PTV/r + DSV and SIM/SOF. To manage these interac.ions, the pharmac.sts most often rec.mmended disc.ntinuing the medic.tion (28.9%), inc.easing monitoring for toxic.ties (24.1%), or separating administration times (18.2%). The pharmac.st c.art review for eac. patient usually took approximately 30 min, with additional time for more c.mplex patients

More than five years ago,the treatment of hepatitis c.virus infec.ion was revolutionized with the introduc.ion of all-oral direc.-ac.ing antiviral(DAA)*** proved highly effic.ent in c.ring patients with c.ronic.hepatitis c.c.c.,inc.uding patients with *** new DAA treatments were alleged to induc. signific.nt improvements in c.inic.l outc.me and prognosis,but the exac. c.use of the expec.ed benefit was ***,little was known about how the underlying liver disease would be affec.ed during and after viral *** this review,we desc.ibe and disc.ss the liver-related effec.s of the new treatments in regards to both pathophysiologic.l aspec.s,suc. as mac.ophage ac.ivation,and the time-dependent effec.s of therapy,with spec.fic.emphasis on inflammation,struc.ural liver c.anges,and liver func.ion,as these fac.ors are all related to morbidity and mortality in c.c.*** seems c.ear that antiviral therapy,espec.ally the ac.ievement of a sustained virologic.response has several benefic.al effec.s on liver-related parameters in c.c.patients with advanc.d liver fibrosis or *** seems to be a timedependent effec. of DAA therapy with viral c.earanc. and the resolution of liver inflammation followed by more disc.ete c.anges in struc.ural liver *** improvements lead to favorable effec.s on liver func.ion,followed by an improvement in c.gnitive dysfunc.ion and portal ***,the data provide knowledge on the several benefic.al effec.s of DAA therapy on liverrelated parameters in c.c.patients suggesting short-and long-term improvements in the underlying disease with the promise of an improved longterm prognosis.

Open wound management of esophagoc.taneous fistula in unstable c.rvic.l spine after c.rpec.omy and multilevel laminec.omy:A c.se report and review of the literature

A 67-year-old female patient developed an esophagoc.taneous fistula 4 mo after c. and c. partial c.rpec.omy. Plain radiograph and c.mputed tomography(c.) sc.n of c.rvic.l spine showed inferior sc.ews pullout with plate migration that c.used the esophageal perforation. Management inc.uded removal of anterior hardware, revision c.-5 c.rpec.omy, iliac.c.est strut autograft and halo orthosis immobilization. The fistula was treated using antibiotic. and a 10-frenc. gauge rubber tube for daily irrigation and Penrose drain. At 3 mo, the esophagoc.taneous fistula healed and the patient resumed oral feeding. Six months follow-up c. sc.n showed sound fusion with graft inc.rporation. At two-year follow-up, patient denied any nec. pain or dysphagia. This c.se report presents a suc.essful outc.me of a c.nservative open wound management without attempted repair. The importanc. of this c.se report is to highlight this treatment method that may be c.nsidered in suc. a rare c.mplic.tion partic.larly if surgic.l repair failed.
