Under Arctic warming,near-surface energy transfers have significantly changed,but few studies have focused on energy exchange over Arctic glacier due to limitations in available *** this study,the atmospheric energy exchange processes over the Arctic glacier surface were analyzed by using observational data obtained in summer 2.19 in comparison with those over the Arctic tundra *** energy budget over the glacier greatly differed from that over the tundra,characterized by less net shortwave radiation and downward sensible heat flux,due to the high albedo and icy *** of the incoming solar radiation was injected into the glacier in summer,leading to snow ice *** the observation period,strong daily variations in near-surface heat transfer occurred over the Arctic glacier,with the maximum downward and upward heat fluxes occurring on 2.and 6 July 2.19,*** analyses suggested that the maximum downward heat flux is mainly caused by the strong local thermal contrast above the glacier surface,while the maximum upward heat transfer cannot be explained by the classical turbulent heat transfer theory,possibly caused by countergradient heat *** results indicated that the near-surface energy exchange processes over Arctic glacier may be strongly related to local forcings,but a more in-depth investigation will be needed in the future when more observational data become available.

Manganese-based oxide electrode materials suffer from severe Jahn-Teller(J-T)distortion,leading to severe cycle instability in sodium ion ***,it is difficult to adjust the electron at d orbitals exactly to a low spin state to eliminate orbital degeneracy and suppress J-T distortion *** article constructed concentration-controllable Mn/O coupled vacancy and amorphous network in Mn_(3)O_(4) and coated it with nitrogen-doped carbon aerogel(Mn_(3-x)O_(4-y)@NCA).The existence of Mn/O vacancies has been confirmed by scanning transmission electron microscopy(STEM)and positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy(PALS).Atomic absorption spectroscopy(AAS)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)determine the most optimal ratio of Mn/O vacancies for sodium ion storage is 1:*** functional theory(DFT)calculations prove that Mn/O coupled vacancies with the ratio of 1:2.ould exactly induce a low spin states and a d~4 electron configuration of Mn,suppressing the J-T distortion *** abundant amorphous regions can shorten the transport distance of sodium ions,increase the electrochemically active sites and improve the pseudocapacitance *** the synergetic effect of Mn/O coupled vacancies and amorphous regions,Mn_(3-x)O_(4-y)@NCA exhibits an energy density of 37.5 W h kg^(-1)and an ultra-high power density of 563 W kg^(-1)in an asymmetric *** sodium-ion batteries,it demonstrates high reversible capacity and exceptional cycling *** research presents a new method to improve the Na^(+)storage performance in manganese-based oxide,which is expected to be generalized to other structural distortion.

＂Continuous＂ tight gas reservoirs are those reservoirs which develop in widespread tight sandstones with a continuous distribution of natural gas. In this paper, we summarize the geological features of the source rocks and ＂＇continuous＂ tight gas reservoirs in the Xujiahe Formation of the middle- south transition region, Sichuan Basin. The source rocks of the Xul Member and reservoir rocks of the Xu2.Member are thick （Xul Member： 40 m, Xu2.Member： 12. m） and are distributed continuously in this study area. The results of drilled wells show that the widespread sandstone reservoirs of the Xu2.Member are charged with natural gas. Therefore, the natural gas reservoirs of the Xu2.Member in the middle-south transition region are ＂continuous＂ tight gas reservoirs. The accumulation of ＂continuous＂ tight gas reservoirs is controlled by an adequate driving force of the pressure differences between source rocks and reservoirs, which is demonstrated by a ＂one-dimensional＂ physical simulation experiment. In this simulation, the natural gas of＂continuous＂ tight gas reservoirs moves tbrward with no preferential petroleum migration pathways （PPMP）, and the natural gas saturation of＂continuous＂ tight gas reservoirs is higher than that of conventional reservoirs.

Dissipative Kerr solitons(DKS) have long been suffering from poor power conversion efficiency when driven by continuous-wave lasers. By deriving the critical coupling condition of a multimode nonlinear optics system in a generalized theoretical framework,two efficiency limitations of the conventional pump method of DKS are revealed: the effective coupling rate is too small and is also power-dependent. A general approach is provided to resolve this challenge by introducing two types of nonlinear couplers to couple the soliton cavity and CW input through nonlinear processes. The collective coupler opens multiple coupling channels and the self-adaptive coupler builds a power-independent effective external coupling rate to the DKS for approaching the generalized critical coupling condition, which promises near-unity power conversion efficiencies. For instance, a conversion efficiency exceeding 90% is predicted for aluminum nitride microrings with a nonlinear coupler utilizing second-harmonic generation. The mechanism applies to various nonlinear processes, including Raman and Brillouin scattering, and thus paves the way for micro-solitons toward practical applications.

Water-saving irrigation strategies can successfully alleviate methane emissions from rice fields,but significantly stimulate nitrous oxide(N_(2.O)emissions because of variations in soil oxygen level and redox ***,the relationship linking soil N_(2.O emissions to nitrogen functional genes during various fertilization treatments in water-saving paddy fields has rarely been ***,the mitigation potential of organic fertilizer substitution on N_(2.O emissions and the microbial mechanism in rice fields must be further *** study examined how soil N_(2.O emissions were affected by related functional microorganisms(ammonia-oxidizing archaea(AOA),ammonia-oxidizing bacteria(AOB),nirS,nirK and nosZ)to various fertilization treatments in a rice field in southeast China over two *** this study,three fertilization regimes were applied to rice cultivation:a no nitrogen(N)(Control),an inorganic N(Ni),and an inorganic N with partial N substitution with organic manure(N_(i)+N_(o)).Over two rice-growing seasons,cumulative N_(2.O emissions averaged 0.47,4.62.and 4.08 kg ha^(−1)for the Control,Ni and N_(i)+N_(o)treatments,*** comparison to the Ni treatment,the N_(i)+N_(o)fertilization regime considerably reduced soil N_(2.O emissions by 11.6%while maintaining rice yield,with a lower N_(2.O emission factor(EF)from fertilizer N of 0.95%.Nitrogen fertilization considerably raised the AOB,nirS,nirK and nosZ gene abundances,in comparison to the Control ***,the substitution of organic manure for inorganic N fertilizer significantly decreased AOB and nirS gene abundances and increased nosZ gene *** AOB responded to N fertilization more sensitively than the *** N_(2.O emissions significantly correlated positively with AOB and nirS gene abundances while having a negative correlation with nosZ gene abundance and the nosZ/nirS ratio across N-fertilized *** summary,we conclude that organic manure substi

Doxorubicin(DOX)is a commonly administered chemotherapy drug for treating hematological malignancies and solid tumors;however,its clinical application is limited by significant ***(Cyn)is a flavonoid glycoside distributed in honeysuckle,with confirmed potential biological functions in regulating inflammation,pyroptosis,and oxidative ***,the effects of Cyn were evaluated in a DOX-induced cardiotoxicity(DIC)mouse model,which was established by intraperitoneal injections of DOX(5 mg/kg)once a week for three *** mice in the treatment group received dexrazoxane,MCC950,and Cyn every two *** biochemistry,histopathology,immunohistochemistry,reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR),and western blotting were conducted to investigate the cardioprotective effects and potential mechanisms of Cyn *** results demonstrated the significant benefits of Cyn treatment in mitigating DIC;it could effectively alleviate oxidative stress to a certain extent,maintain the equilibrium of cell apoptosis,and enhance the cardiac function of *** effects were realized via regulating the transcription levels of pyroptosis-related genes,such as nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain-like receptor protein 3(NLRP3),caspase-1,and gasdermin D(GSDMD).Mechanistically,for DOX-induced myocardial injury,Cyn could significantly modulate the expression of pivotal genes,including adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase(AMPK),peroxisome proliferator-activated receptorγcoactivator-1α(PGC-1α),sirtuin 3(SIRT3),and nuclear factor erythroid 2.related factor 2.Nrf2..We attribute it to the mediation of AMPK/SIRT3/Nrf2.pathway,which plays a central role in preventing DOX-induced cardiomyocyte *** conclusion,the present study confirms the therapeutic potential of Cyn in DIC by regulating the AMPK/SIRT3/Nrf2.pathway.

T-cell-based immunotherapy is gaining momentum in cancer treatment;however,our comprehension of the transcriptional regulation governing T cell antitumor activity remains *** objective of this study was to explore the function of interferon regulatory factor 4(IRF4)in antitumor CD8^(+)T cells using the TRAMP-C1 prostate cancer and B16F10 melanoma *** achieve this,we generated an Irf4^(GFP-DTR) mouse strain and discovered that CD8^(+)tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes(TILs)expressing high levels of *** exhibited a more differentiated PD-1high cell *** administering diphtheria toxin to tumor-bearing Irf4^(GFP-DTR) mice,we partially depleted ***^(+)TILs and observed an accelerated tumor *** specifically explore the function of IRF4 in antitumor CD8^(+)T cells,we conducted 3 adoptive cell therapy(ACT)***,depleting ***^(+)CD8^(+)TILs derived from ACT significantly accelerated tumor growth,emphasizing their crucial role in controlling tumor ***,deleting the Irf4 gene in antitumor CD8^(+)T cells used for ACT led to a reduction in the frequency and effector differentiation of CD8^(+)TILs,completely abolishing the antitumor effects of ***,we performed a temporal deletion of the Irf4 gene in antitumor CD8^(+)T cells during ACT,starting from 2. days after tumor implantation,which significantly compromised tumor ***,sustained expression of IRF4 is essential for maintaining CD8^(+)T cell immunity in the melanoma model,and these findings carry noteworthy implications for the advancement of more potent immunotherapies for solid tumors.
