MXene,as a rising star among two-dimensional(2D)electromagnetic wave materials,faces urgent challenges in addressing its self-stacking issue and regulating its ***,a micro-macro collaborative design strategy was proposed to regulate heterogeneous interface engineering in MXene-based ***-based cotton was introduced as three dimensional(3D)framework for constructing a porous structure,TiO_(2) was in-situ generated and nitrogen atom was doped on Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene to regulate its dielectric properties,a 3D N-doped carbon fiber/MXene/TiO_(2)(CMT)nano-aerogel was successful *** synergistic effects of diverse components and structural designs,porous frameworks and TiO_(2) lattice contraction can significantly adjust the density of the conductive network and create abundant heterogeneous interfaces,as well as the lattice defects induced by nitrogen atom doping can enhance polarization loss,ultimately leading to the excellent microwave absorption performance of 3D N-CMT *** optimized N-CMT 30%aerogel exhibited a minimum reflection loss(RLmin)of−72.56 dB and an effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)of 6.92 GHz at 2.23 ***,when the thickness was adjusted from 1 to 5 mm,the EAB of the N-CMT 30%aerogel reached 13.94 GHz,achieving coverage of 98% of the C-band and the entire X and Ku ***,the attenuation capabilities of the N-CMT aerogel were further confirmed through RCS simulations,whose RCS reduction value reaches up to 19.969 dB·m^(2).These results demonstrate that 3D N-CMT nano-aerogel relying on interface engineering design exhibits significant potential in the field of electromagnetic protection,providing an important reference for future efficient absorbers.

High-performance MXene-based polymer nanocomposites are well-suited for various industrial applications owing to their excellent mechanical,thermal,and other ***,the fabrication of flame-retardant polymer/MXene nanocom-posites remains challenging owing to the limited flame-retardant properties of MXene *** study prepared a novel MXene@Ag@PA hybrid material via radiation modification and complexation *** material was used to further enhance the key properties of ethylene-vinyl acetate(EVA),such as its mechanical properties,thermal conductivity,flame retardancy,and electromagnetic *** addition of two parts of this hybrid material increased the thermal conduc-tivity of EVA by 44.2%and reduced its peak exothermic rate during combustion by 30.1%compared with pure *** material also significantly reduced smoke production and increased the residue *** the X-band,the electromagnetic shielding effectiveness of the EVA composites reached 20 ***,the MXene@Ag@PA hybrid material could be used to further enhance the mechanical properties of EVA composites under electron-beam ***,this study contributes to the development of MXene-based EVA advanced materials that are fire-safe,have high strength,and exhibit good electromagnetic shielding performance for various applications.

As environmental concerns grow, there is a global shift from traditional fossil energy. Hydrogen fuel cells are gaining attention, but high material costs limit their adoption in large scale. The oxygen reduction reaction at the cathode of fuel cell, which dominates the electrochemical kinetics, relies mainly on platinum-group-metal(PGM) catalysts, hence research is focused on minimizing PGM or developing non-PGM catalysts. Porous materials possess unique physicochemical properties, and have shown great potential in advancing catalyst technology in fuel cells. This review summarizes the recent fundamental and technological advances of porous catalysts for oxygen reduction reactions including PGM and non-PGM catalysts, discusses the mechanisms underlying the enhanced catalytic activity through structural design and surface modification. It also highlights the comprehensive impact of porous materials in oxygen reduction reactions and membrane electrode assemblies,the main challenges, and provides perspectives on research of porous catalyst.

BACKGROUND External factors in ulcerative colitis(UC)exacerbate colonic epithelial permea-bility and inflammatory *** 1(KRT1)is crucial in regulating these alterations,but its specific role in the progression of UC remains to be fully *** To explore the role and mechanisms of KRT1 in the regulation of colonic epithelial permeability and inflammation in *** A KRT1 antibody concentration gradient test,along with a dextran sulfate sodium(DSS)-induced animal model,was implemented to investigate the role of KRT1 in modulating the activation of the kallikrein kinin system(KKS)and the cleavage of bradykinin(BK)/high molecular weight kininogen(HK)in *** Treatment with KRT1 antibody in Caco-2 cells suppressed cell proliferation,induced apoptosis,reduced HK expression,and increased BK *** further downregulated intestinal barrier proteins,including occludin,zonula occludens-1,and claudin,and negatively impacted the coagulation factor *** changes led to enhanced activation of BK and HK cleavage,thereby intensifying KKS-mediated inflammation in *** the DSS-induced mouse model,administration of KRT1 antibody mitigated colonic injury,increased colon length,alleviated weight loss,and suppressed inflammatory cytokines such as interleukin(IL)-1,IL-6,tumor necrosis factor-α.It also facilitated repair of the intestinal barrier,reducing DSS-induced *** KRT1 inhibits BK expression,suppresses inflammatory cytokines,and enhances markers of intestinal barrier function,thus ameliorating colonic damage and maintaining barrier ***1 is a viable therapeutic target for UC.

Hydroxychloroquine(HCQ)is widely used in the treatment of autoimmune disorders such as systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE)and rheumatoid arthritis,and in recent years it has also been used in diseases such as cancer,neurodegenerative diseases,metabolic diseases,and microbial infections.(1)Due to the complex pharmacokinetic characteristics of HCQ,overdose or long-term use of the drug will lead to accumulation in the tissue of organism,and severe HCQ-related retinal toxicity may occur.A cohort study in America showes that after 10 and 15 years of HCQ use,the incidence of HCQ retinopathy will be 2.5%and 8.6%,respectively.(2)The clinical manifestations of HCQ retinopathy are various,mainly photoreceptor and retinal pigment epithelium(RPE)defects,some combined with cystoid macular edema(CME),and ireversible central vision loss.

Specialized pro-resolving lipid mediators including maresin 1 mediate resolution but the levels of these are reduced in Alzheimer's disease brain, suggesting that they constitute a novel target for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease to prevent/stop inflammation and combat disease pathology. Therefore, it is important to clarify whether they counteract the expression of genes and proteins induced by amyloid-β. With this objective, we analyzed the relevance of human monocyte–derived microglia for in vitro modeling of neuroinflammation and its resolution in the context of Alzheimer's disease and investigated the pro-resolving bioactivity of maresin 1 on amyloid-β42–induced Alzheimer's disease–like inflammation. Analysis of RNA-sequencing data and secreted proteins in supernatants from the monocyte-derived microglia showed that the monocyte-derived microglia resembled Alzheimer's disease–like neuroinflammation in human brain microglia after incubation with amyloid-β42. Maresin 1 restored homeostasis by down-regulating inflammatory pathway related gene expression induced by amyloid-β42 in monocyte-derived microglia, protection of maresin 1 against the effects of amyloid-β42 is mediated by a re-balancing of inflammatory transcriptional networks in which modulation of gene transcription in the nuclear factor-kappa B pathway plays a major part. We pinpointed molecular targets that are associated with both neuroinflammation in Alzheimer's disease and therapeutic targets by maresin 1. In conclusion, monocyte-derived microglia represent a relevant in vitro microglial model for studies on Alzheimer's disease-like inflammation and drug response for individual patients. Maresin 1 ameliorates amyloid-β42–induced changes in several genes of importance in Alzheimer's disease, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target for Alzheimer's disease.
