Continuous-wave operation of 1550 nm low-threshold triple-lattice photonic-crystal surface-emitting lasers

Benefitting from narrow beam divergence,photonic crystal surface-emitting lasers are expected to play an essential role in the ever-growing fields of optical communication and light detection and *** operating with 1.55μm wavelengths have attracted particular attention due to their minimum fiber loss and high eye-safe ***,high interband absorption significantly decreases their performance at this 1.55μm ***,stronger optical feedback is needed to reduce their threshold and thus improve the output *** this goal,photonic-crystal resonators with deep holes and high dielectric contrast are often ***,the relevant techniques for high-contrast photonic crystals inevitably complicate fabrication and reduce the final *** this paper,we demonstrate the first continuous-wave operation of 1.55μm photonic-crystal surface-emitting lasers by using a‘triple-lattice photonic-crystal resonator’,which superimposes three lattice point groups to increase the strength of in-plane optical *** this geometry,the in-plane 180°coupling can be enhanced threefold compared to the normal single-lattice *** theoretical and experimental investigations demonstrate the much lower threshold current density of this structure compared to‘single-lattice’and‘double-lattice’photonic-crystal resonators,verifying our design *** findings provide a new strategy for photonic crystal laser miniaturization,which is crucial for realizing their use in future high-speed applications.

A Sharding Scheme Based on Graph Partitioning Algorithm for Public Blockchain

Blockchain technology,with its attributes of decentralization,immutability,and traceability,has emerged as a powerful catalyst for enhancing traditional industries in terms of optimizing business ***,transaction performance and scalability has become the main challenges hindering the widespread adoption of *** to its inability to meet the demands of high-frequency trading,blockchain cannot be adopted in many *** improve the transaction capacity,researchers have proposed some on-chain scaling technologies,including lightning networks,directed acyclic graph technology,state channels,and shardingmechanisms,inwhich sharding emerges as a potential scaling ***,excessive cross-shard transactions and uneven shard workloads prevent the sharding mechanism from achieving the expected *** paper proposes a graphbased sharding scheme for public blockchain to efficiently balance the transaction *** crossshard transactions and evening-out workloads among shards,the scheme reduces transaction confirmation latency and enhances the transaction capacity of the ***,the scheme can achieve a high-frequency transaction as well as a better blockchain *** results show that the scheme effectively reduces the cross-shard transaction ratio to a range of 35%-56%and significantly decreases the transaction confirmation latency to 6 s in a blockchain with no more than 25 shards.

Explainable artificial intelligence models for mineral prospectivity mapping

Mineral prospectivity mapping(MPM) is designed to reduce the exploration search space by combining and analyzing geological prospecting big data. Such geological big data are too large and complex for humans to effectively handle and interpret. Artificial intelligence(AI) algorithms, which are powerful tools for mining nonlinear mineralization patterns in big data obtained from mineral exploration, have demonstrated excellent performance in MPM. However, AI-driven MPM faces several challenges, including difficult interpretability, poor generalizability, and physical inconsistencies. In this study, based on previous studies, we devised a novel workflow that aims to constructing more transparent and explainable artificial intelligence(XAI) models for MPM by embedding domain knowledge throughout the AI-driven MPM, from input data to model design and model output. This newly proposed approach provides strong geological and conceptual leads that guide the entire AI-driven MPM model training process, thereby improving model interpretability and performance. Overall, the development of XAI models for MPM is capable of embedding prior and expert knowledge throughout the modeling process, presenting a valuable and promising area for future research designed to improve MPM.

Leucogranite mapping via convolutional recurrent neural networks and geochemical survey data in the Himalayan orogen

Geochemical survey data analysis is recognized as an implemented and feasible way for lithological mapping to assist mineral *** respect to available approaches,recent methodological advances have focused on deep learning algorithms which provide access to learn and extract information directly from geochemical survey data through multi-level networks and outputting end-to-end ***,this study developed a lithological mapping framework with the joint application of a convolutional neural network(CNN)and a long short-term memory(LSTM).The CNN-LSTM model is dominant in correlation extraction from CNN layers and coupling interaction learning from LSTM *** hybrid approach was demonstrated by mapping leucogranites in the Himalayan orogen based on stream sediment geochemical survey data,where the targeted leucogranite was expected to be potential resources of rare metals such as Li,Be,and W *** comparative case studies were carried out from both visual and quantitative perspectives to illustrate the superiority of the proposed model.A guided spatial distribution map of leucogranites in the Himalayan orogen,divided into high-,moderate-,and low-potential areas,was delineated by the success rate curve,which further improves the efficiency for identifying unmapped leucogranites through geological *** light of these results,this study provides an alternative solution for lithologic mapping using geochemical survey data at a regional scale and reduces the risk for decision making associated with mineral exploration.

针对管道渗漏诱发的地面塌陷问题,采用级配均匀的福建标准砂,研究管道不同渗漏位置对水土流失发展规律的影响.利用离散元与有限差分耦合(DEM-FDM)的方法在细观层面对管道渗漏进行模拟,探究管道不同渗漏位置对地层应力以及渗流侵蚀发展的影响,分析渗漏前后管道所受水、土压力的变化以及土拱的发展情况.试验及数据模拟研究结果表明:1)管道渗漏会经历初步渗漏、渗漏发展、渗漏收敛3个阶段.2)管道腰部发生渗漏会对地层造成更大的扰动并受到更为强烈的渗流侵蚀作用,诱发更为严重的地面塌陷.3)管道发生渗漏后,管道表面渗漏处受到的土压力会减小,而管道表面渗漏处周围所受到的土压力会增加,但其受到的水土合力基本保持不变.4)管道不同位置发生渗漏时,管道表面土压力的发展是不同的:顶部发生渗漏,管道表面渗漏处周围土压力逐渐减小;腰部发生渗漏,管道表面不同位置处的土压力则分别展现出增加、减小以及不变3种趋势.

基于熔盐堆尾气提取99Mo同位素的生产方法引起了广泛的关注，但目前的工作局限于评估堆芯中99Mo的产量，对于其在整个回路中的迁移行为的关注不足。本文建立了一个熔盐堆中的贵金属迁移模型，并基于8 MW熔盐实验堆（Molten-Salt Reactor Experiment,MSRE）进行了贵金属分布验证，而后对MSRE尾气中99Mo粗产品的产量、比活度及运行状态的变化对生产的稳定性的影响进行了分析。结果表明，尾气中的99Mo有较高含量和比活度，移除率增加的工况对99Mo的比活度的影响是有益的，空泡比例及氧化还原电势变化的工况对99Mo的比活度影响不大，该方法可作为一种潜在的99Mo生产备选方案。

新疆家蚕抗菌肽(CecropinXJ,CEC)可抑制宫颈癌细胞生长,但缺乏靶向性,难以将药物精确地输送到肿瘤部位。纳米药物递送系统是解决这一问题的有效策略。本研究基于金属有机框架ZIF⁃8制备了一种新型叶酸官能化FA⁃ZIF⁃8@CEC纳米颗粒作为宫颈癌靶向药物递送系统。红外光谱、紫外⁃可见吸收光谱、核磁氢谱、X射线衍射(X⁃ray diffraction,XRD)、扫描电镜(scanning electron microscopy,SEM)、透射电镜(transmission electron microscopy,TEM)等表征结果证明成功制备了FA⁃ZIF⁃8@CEC纳米颗粒。MTT结果显示,与游离CEC和ZIF⁃8@CEC相比,FA⁃ZIF⁃8@CEC在HeLa细胞中表现出更好的抗宫颈癌效果。本研究结果说明叶酸官能化的FA⁃ZIF⁃8@CEC纳米药物在宫颈癌靶向治疗中具有一定的应用前景。

Collaborative Caching in Vehicular Edge Network Assisted by Cell-Free Massive MIMO

The 6G mobile communications demand lower content delivery latency and higher quality of service for vehicular edge network. With the popularity of content-centric networks, mobile users are paying more and more attention to the delay and reliability of fetching cached content. For reducing communication costs, increasing network capacity and improving the content delivery, we propose a collaborative caching scheme based on deep reinforcement learning for vehicular edge network assisted by cell-free massive multiple-input multipleoutput(MIMO) system, in which the macro base station is considered as the central processor unit, and the roadside units are treated as roadside access points(RSAPs).The proposed scheme can effectively cache contents in edge nodes, i.e., RSAPs and vehicles with caching capability. We jointly consider the mobility of vehicles and the content request preferences of users, then we use deep Qnetworks algorithm to optimize the caching *** results show that the proposed scheme can significantly reduce the content delivery average latency and increase the content cache hit ratio.
