Magnetostrictive properties and detection efficiency of TbDyFe/FeCo composite materials for nondestructive testing

In order to develop a highly sensitive material for nondestructive testing(NDT),(Tb_(0.3) Dy_(0.7))Fe_(1.95) thin films were deposited on FeCo substrates at room temperature by magnetron sputtering and *** magnetostrictive properties and the detection efficiency of the composite films were *** demonstrate that the detection efficiency roughly shows regular consistency with the magnetostrictive strain of the TbDyFe films. Heat treatment has a great effect on the crystalline state and the magnetostrictive strain of the composite materials. The as-deposited(Tb_(0.3) Dy_(0.7))Fe_(1.95) films are amorphous, and the saturation magnetostriction(ls) is only 90 ppm. However, the nanostructured crystalline REFe2 is partially separated out in amorphous matrix after annealing at 600C for 1 h, and the ls increases to 265 ppm. Simultaneously, the detection efficiency of the composite materials is obviously improved compared to that of the as-deposited films. The detection signal of traditional FeCo strip is0.4 V at the excitation power of 1.0 P and frequency of 128 kHz and that of the strip increases significantly by depositing one layer of(Tb_(0.3) Dy_(0.7))Fe_(1.95) film. The detection signal of the composite material annealed at 600C is the best, even reaching saturation value of 2.5 V(1.0 P, 128 kHz). The results may provide us with a method for preparing new materials for NDT.

This study explores the epitaxial relationship and electrical properties of α-Ga_(2)O_(3) thin films deposited on a-plane, mplane, and r-plane sapphire substrates. We characterize the thin films by X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy, and elucidate thin film epitaxial relationships with the underlying sapphire substrates. The oxygen vacancy concentration of α-Ga_(2)O_(3) thin films on m-plane and r-plane sapphire substrates are higher than α-Ga_(2)O_(3) thin film on a-plane sapphire substrates. All three thin films have a high transmission of over 80% in the visible and near-ultraviolet regions, and their optical bandgaps stay around 5.02–5.16 eV. Hall measurements show that the α-Ga_(2)O_(3) thin film grown on r-plane sapphire has the highest conductivity of 2.71 S/cm, which is at least 90 times higher than the film on a-plane sapphire. A similar orientation-dependence is seen in their activation energy as revealed by temperature-dependent conductivity measurements, with 0.266, 0.079, and 0.075eV for the film on a-, m-, r-plane, respectively. The origin of the distinct transport behavior of films on differently oriented substrates is suggested to relate with the distinct evolution of oxygen vacancies at differently oriented substrates. This study provides insights for the substrate selection when growing α-Ga_(2)O_(3) films with tunable transport properties.

Hybrid Model Based on Wavelet Decomposition for Electricity Consumption Prediction

The effective supply of electricity is the basis of ensuring economic development and people's normal life. It is difficult to store electricity, as leading to the production and consumption must be completed simultaneously. Therefore, it is of great significance to accurately predict the demand for electricity consumption for the production planning of electricity and the normal operation of the society. In this paper, a hybrid model is constructed to predict the electricity consumption in China. The structural breaks test of monthly electricity consumption in China from January 2010 to December 2016 is carried out by using the structural breaks unit root test. Based on the existence of structura breaks, the electricity consumption data are decomposed into low-frequency and high-frequency components by wavelet model, and the separated low frequency signal and high frequency signal are predicted by autoregressive integrated moving average(ARIMA) and nonlinear autoregressive neural network(NAR), respectively. Therefore the wavelet-ARIMA-NAR hybrid model is constructed. In order to compare the effect of the hybrid model, the structural time series(STS) model is applied to predicting the electricity consumption. The results of prediction error test show that the hybrid model is more accurate for electricity consumption prediction.

K-ion batteries(KIBs)have attracted tremendous attention and seen significant development because of their low price,high operating voltage,and properties similar to those of Li-ion *** the field of development of full batteries,exploring high-performing and low-cost anode materials for K-ion storage is a crucial *** to their excellent cost effectiveness,abundant precursors,and environmental benignancy,hard carbons(HCs)are considered promising anode materials for *** a result,researchers have devoted much effort to quantify the properties and to understand the underlying mechanisms of HC-based *** this review,we mainly introduce the electrochemical reaction mechanism of HCs in KIBs,and summarize approaches to further improve the electrochemical performance in HC-based materials for K-ion *** addition,we also highlight some advanced in situ characterization methods for understanding the evolutionary process underlying the potassiation–depotassiation process,which is essential for the directional electrochemical performance optimization of ***,we raise some challenges in developing smart-structured HC anode materials for KIBs,and propose rational design principles and perspectives serving as the guidance for the targeted optimization of HC-based KIBs.

The harsh environment in the Tibetan plateau,the highest place in the world,poses thermoregulatory challenges and hypoxic stress to *** impacts of plateau environment on animal physiology and reproduction include external factors such as strong ultraviolet radiation and low temperature,and internal factors such as animal metabolites and gut ***,it remains unclear how plateau pika adapt to high altitudes through the combination of serum metabolites and gut *** this end,we captured 24 wild plateau pikas at the altitudes of 3400,3600,or 3800 m *** a Tibetan alpine *** the machine learning algorithms(random forest),we identified five biomarkers of serum metabolites indicative of the altitudes,that is,dihydrotestosterone,homo-l-arginine,alpha-ketoglutaric-acid,serotonin,and threonine,which were related to body weight,reproduction,and energy metabolism of *** metabolic biomarkers were positively correlated with Lachnospiraceae_Agathobacter,Ruminococcaceae,or Prevotellaceae_Prevotella,suggesting the close relationship between metabolites and gut *** identifying the metabolic biomarkers and gut microbiota analysis,we reveal the mechanisms of adaptation to high altitudes in plateau pika.

Empirical Analysis on the Relation Between Electronic Industry Development and Energy Consumption

Data from 1996 to 2012 is used to conduct co-integration test, VAR model and Granger causality test in order to examine the relation between China＇ s electronic industry added-value and energy consumption. The result of co-integration test illustrates the long-term equilibrium of the relationship between the electronic industry development and energy consumption. The dynamic analysis of VAR model shows that there is a positive response from the economic growth of the electronics industry to energy consumption, while the impact of energy consumption on economic growth is a slightly negative response. It has been proved that the electronic industry development and energy consumption are mutual Granger causality. According to these conclusions, some suggestions are proposed in the end, including accelerating the development of China＇ s electronic industry to promote high-teeh electronic products, improving energy efficiency, enhancing research efficacy, creasing the effort for energy development and implementing rational energy policies.

African swine fever(ASF)is a devastating infectious disease in swine that is severely threatening the global pig *** efficacious vaccine is urgently ***,we used the Chinese ASFV HLJ/18 as a backbone and generated a series of genedeleted *** virulence,immunogenicity,safety,and protective efficacy evaluation in specific-pathogen-free pigs,commercial pigs,and pregnant sows indicated that one virus,namely HLJ/18-7GD,which has seven genes deleted,is fully attenuated in pigs,cannot convert to the virulent strain,and provides complete protection of pigs against lethal ASFV *** study shows that HLJ/-18-7GD is a safe and effective vaccine against ASFV,and as such is expected to play an important role in controlling the spread of ASFV.
