In this paper,an experimental study of an air inflated membrane was carried out based on the China National Stadium (the Bird's Nest). After the 2008 Olympic Games,it was apparent that the future use of the Bird's Nest would be enhanced if rainfall could be prevented from entering the stadium. The installation of an air inflated membrane across the opening of the steel structure was proposed as a solution to this problem. To verify the scheme,a theoretical analysis and experimental study of an air inflated membrane was carried out. Experimental and computational models were developed,form-finding was carried out using both experimental and theoretical methods,and the results from the two approaches,including the deflection of the air inflated membrane and deformation of the support structure,were analyzed and compared. The force-transfer path and deformation of the air inflated membrane under loads was studied. Conclusions and suggestions are presented.

To enhance the high-temperature oxidation resistance and mechanical properties of a secondgeneration nickel-based superalloy,various concentrations of lanthanum(La)ranging from 5.0×10^(-5)wt.%to 3.4×10^(-4)wt.%are added to the *** microstructure of the nickel-based single crystal superalloy with trace of La was examined by means of SEM,EDS and *** show the addition of La decreases the segregation of elements and increases the amount ofγ/γ′eutectics of the as-cast alloy,and in the interdendritic region,the growth of eutectics is accompanied by the growth of strip clusters composed of Ni_(5)La and Ni_(3)*** the La content in the alloy increases,the proportion of Ni_(5)La in the cluster *** heat treatment,incipient melting occurs in the cluster regions,leading to an increase in microporosity compared to the original as-cast ***,the heat treatment alters the shape of the clusters from a strip morphology to an elliptical one,and it changes their composition from Ni_(5)La and Ni_(3)Ta to a combination of Ni_(5)La,Ni_(3)Ta,and MC carbides.

Both acceleration and pseudo-acceleration response spectra play important roles in structural seismic ***,only one of them is generally provided in most seismic ***,many studies have attempted to develop conversion models between the acceleration response spectrum(SA)and the pseudo-acceleration response spectrum(PSA).Our previous studies found that the relationship between SA and PSA is affected by magnitude,distance,and site ***,we developed an SA/PSA model incorporating these ***,this model is suitable for cases with small and moderate magnitudes and its accuracy is not good enough for cases with large *** paper aims to develop an efficient SA/PSA model by considering influences of magnitude,distance,and site class,which can be applied to cases not only with small or moderate magnitudes but also with large *** this purpose,regression analyses were conducted using 16,660 horizontal seismic records with a wider range of *** magnitude of these seismic records varies from 4 to 9 and the distances vary from 10 to 200 *** ground motions were recorded at 338 stations covering four site *** comparing them with existing models,it was found that the proposed model shows better accuracy for cases with any magnitudes,distances,and site classes considered in this study.

Background： Prolongation of the Tpeak-Tend （TpTe） interval as a measurement of transmural dispersion of repolarization （TDR） is an independent risk factor for chronic heart failure mortality, However, the cardiac resynchronization therapy＇s （CRT） effect on TDR is controversial. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate CRTs acute and chronic effects on repolarization dispersion. Furthermore, we aimed to investigate the relationship between TpTe changes and ventricular arrbythmia. Methods： The study group consisted of 101 patients treated with CRT-defibrillator （CRT-D）. According to whether TpTe was shortened, patients were grouped at immediate and l-year follow-up after CRT, respectively. The echocardiogram index and ventricular arrhythmia were observed and compared in these subgroups. Results： For all patients, TpTe slightly increased immediately after CRT-D implantation, and then decreased at the l -year follow-up （from 107 ± 23 to 110 ± 21 rns within 24 h, to 94 ± 24 ms at 1-year follow-up, F 19.366, P 〈 0.001）. No significant difference in the left ventricular reverse remodeling and ventricular tachycardia/ventricular fibrillation （VT/VF） episodes between the TpTe immediately shortened and TpTe immediately nonshortened groups. However, patients in the TpTe at l-year shorten had a higher rate of the lelt ventricular （LV） reverse remodeling （65% vs. 44%, Z2 = 4.495, P - 0.038） and less VT/VF episodes （log-rank test, X2 - 10.207, P = 0.001 ） compared with TpTe I-year nonshortened group. TpTe immediately alter CRT-D independently predicted VT/VF episodes at l-year follow-up （hazard ratio [HR], 1.030; P = 0.001 ）. Conclusions： Patients with TpTe shortened at l -year after CRT had a higher rate of LV reverse remodeling and less VT/VF episodes. The acute changes of TpTe after CRT have minimal value on mechanical reverse remodeling and ventricular arrhythmia.

Higher-order modes of the neutron diffusion/transport equation can be used to study the temporal behavior of nuclear reactors and can be applied in modal analysis, transient analysis, and online monitoring of the reactor core. Both the deterministic method and the Monte Carlo(MC) method can be used to solve the higher-order modes. However, MC method, compared to the deterministic method, faces challenges in terms of computational efficiency and α mode calculation stability, whereas the deterministic method encounters issues arising from homogenization-related geometric and energy spectra *** on the higher-order mode diffusion calculation code HARMONY, we developed a new higher-order mode calculation code, HARMONY2.0, which retains the functionality of computing λ and α higher-order modes from HARMONY1.0, but enhances the ability to treat complex geometries and arbitrary energy spectra using the MC-deterministic hybrid two-step strategy. In HARMONY2.0, the mesh homogenized multigroup constants were obtained using OpenMC in the first step,and higher-order modes were then calculated with the mesh homogenized core diffusion model using the implicitly restarted Arnoldi method(IRAM), which was also adopted in the HARMONY1.0 code. In addition, to improve the calculation efficiency, particularly in large higher-order modes, event-driven parallelization/domain decomposition methods are embedded in the HARMONY2.0 code to accelerate the inner iteration of λ∕α mode using OpenMP. Furthermore, the higher-order modes of complex geometric models, such as Hoogenboom and ATR reactors for λ mode and the MUSE-4 experiment facility for the prompt α mode, were computed using diffusion theory.

In light of the burgeoning energy technology sector and the ever-growing demand for lithium across diverse industrial domains,conventional lithium extraction methods have been proven inadequate due to their limited production capacity and high operational *** work introduces a novel approach to the manganese-titanium based composite HMTO（Mn:Ti=1:4） lithium ion-sieve（LIS） nanospheres,employing lithium acetate dihydrate,manganese carbonate and titanium dioxide P25 as the primary *** nanospheres exhibit relatively uniform spherical morphology,narrow size distribution,small average particle size（ca.55 nm）,large specific surface area(43.58 m2g-1) and high surface O2-content（59.01%）.When utilized as the adsorbents for Li+ions,the HMTO（Mn:Ti=1:4） LIS demonstrates a fast adsorption rate,approaching equilibrium within 6.0 h with an equilibrium adsorption capacity（qe）of 79.5 mg g-1and a maximum adsorption capacity（qm） of 87.26 mg g-1(initial concentration CO:1.8 g L-1).In addition,the HMTO（Mn:Ti=1:4） also delivers a high lithium extraction from the simulated high magnesium-lithium molar ratio salt lake brine（Mg:Li=103）,achieving a qeof 33.85 mg g-1along with a remarkable selectivity(αMgLi=2192.76).Particularly,the HMTO（Mn:Ti=1:4） LIS showcases a satisfactory recycling adsorption *** adsorption capacity remains at a high level,even that determined after the 5th cycle(55.45 mg g-1) surpasses that of the most recently reported ***,the fantastic synergistic lithium adsorption mechanism is deliberately uncovered by leveraging the ion exchange principles and molecular dynamics（MD） simulations.

Background:Aberrant expression of RNA-binding proteins(RBPs)has been linked to a variety of diseases,including hematological disorders,cardiovascular diseases,and multiple types of *** nuclear ribonucleoprotein C(HNRNPC),a member belonging to the heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein(hnRNP)family,plays a pivotal role in nucleic acid *** studies have underscored the significance of HNRNPC in tumorigenesis;however,its specific role in malignant tumor progression remains inadequately ***:We leveraged publicly available databases,including The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA),to explore the potential involvement of HNRNPC across various ***,we performed experimental validation studies focused on liver ***:Our analysis revealed that HNRNPC is overexpressed in a wide range of common malignancies,including liver and lung cancers,and is strongly linked to unfavorable ***,HNRNPC was observed to be closely linked to tumor *** immune checkpoint analysis and immune cell infiltration assessment,HNRNPC emerged as a potential target for modulating tumor ***,silencing of HNRNPC markedly inhibited the proliferation,metastasis,and infiltration of liver cancer ***:In summary,our findings highlight HNRNPC as a prognostic marker in various cancers,including liver cancer,and suggest its involvement in shaping the tumor immune *** insights offer potential avenues for improving clinical outcomes in tumors with elevated HNRNPC expression,particularly through immunotherapeutic strategies.
