The development of advanced aircraft relies on high performance thermal-structural materials,and carbon/carbon com-posites(C/C)composited with ultrahigh-temperature ceramics are ideal ***,the traditional routes of compositing are either inefficient and expensive or lead to a non-uniform distribution of ceramics in the *** with the traditional C/C-ZrC-SiC composites prepared by the reactive melt infiltration of ZrSi_(2),C/C-ZrB_(2)-ZrC-SiC composites prepared by the vacuum infiltration of ZrB_(2) combined with reactive melt infiltration have the higher content and more uniform distribution of the introduced ceramic *** mass and linear ablation rates of the C/C-ZrB_(2)-ZrC-SiC composites were respectively 68.9%and 29.7%lower than those of C/C-ZrC-SiC composites prepared by reactive melt *** ablation performance was improved because the volatilization of B_(2)O_(3),removes some of the heat,and the more uniformly distributed ZrO_(2),that helps produce a ZrO2-SiO2 continu-ous protective layer,hinders oxygen infiltration and decreases ablation.

Gut microbiota have been reported to play an important role in the occurrence and development of malignant tumors. Currently, clinical studies have identified specific gut microbiota and its metabolites associated with efficacy of immunotherapy in multiple types of *** investigations have elucidated that gut microbiota modulate the antitumor immunity and affect the efficacy of cancer immunotherapy. Certain microbiota and its metabolites may favorably remodel the tumor microenvironment by engaging innate and/or adaptive immune cells. Understanding how the gut microbiome interacts with cancer immunotherapy opens new avenues for improving treatment strategies. Fecal microbial transplants, probiotics, dietary interventions, and other strategies targeting the microbiota have shown promise in preclinical studies to enhance the immunotherapy. Ongoing clinical trials are evaluating these approaches. This review presents the recent advancements in understanding the dynamic interplay among the host immunity, the microbiome, and cancer immunotherapy, as well as strategies for modulating the microbiome, with a view to translating into clinical applications.

superluminous supernovae（SLSNe） are a class of intense celestial events that can be standardized for measuring cosmological parameters, bridging the gap between type Ia supernovae and the cosmic microwave background. In this work, we discuss the cosmological applications of SLSNe from the Chinese Space Station Telescope（CSST）. Our estimation suggests that SLSNe rate is biased tracing the cosmic star formation rate, exhibiting a factor of（1 + z）1.2. We futher predict that CSST is poised to observe ～ 360 SLSNe in the 10 square degrees ultra-deep field survey within a span of 2.5 years. A stringent constraint on cosmological parameters can be derived from their peak-color relationship. CSST is anticipated to uncover a substantial number of SLSNe, contributing to a deeper understanding of their central engines and shedding light on the nature of dark energy at high redshifts.

AIM:To describe the characteristics of peripapillary hyperreflective ovoid mass-like structure(PHOMS)in myopic children and to investigate factors associated with ***:This retrospective observational study included 101 eyes of 101 children(age≤17y)with *** included patients underwent comprehensive clinical *** nerve canal parameters,including disc diameter,optic nerve head(ONH)tilt angle,and border tissue angle were measured using serial enhanced-depth imaging spectral-domain optical coherence tomography(EDI-OCT).Based on the optic disc drusen consortium’s definition of PHOMS,eyes were classified as PHOMS group and non-PHOMS *** was categorized according to ***:Sixty-seven(66.3%)eyes were found with *** PHOMS could only be detected by optical coherence tomography(OCT).Medium PHOMS could be seen with blurred optic disc borders corresponding to *** most frequent location of PHOMS was at the nasosuperior(91%,61 of 67 eyes)to ONH *** axial length and spherical equivalent were more myopic in the PHOMS group than in the non-PHOMS group(both Psue angle was significantly smaller in PHOMS group than in non-PHOMS group[29.70(20.90-43.81)vs 45.62(35.18-60.45),Psue angle was negatively associated with PHOMS height(β=-2.227,P<0.001).CONCLUSION:PHOMS is associated with optic disc tilt and optic disc nasal shift in *** diameter is not a risk factor for *** changes in ONH caused by axial elongation facilitated an understanding of the mechanism of PHOMS.

Hypertriglyceridemia is the third leading cause of acute pancreatitis(AP),and its incidence is *** to its relatively insidious etiology,it is easy to be ignored in the early *** China,Chaiqin Chengqi Decoction(CQCQD)has long been employed for treating *** To evaluate the effectiveness of CQCQD in patients diagnosed with mild/moderately severe hypertriglyceridemic AP(HTG-AP).METHODS In this study,the clinical data of 39 patients with HTG-AP admitted from January 2019 to November 2022 were *** changes of blood lipids,gastrointestinal symptoms,and abdominal pain before and after treatment were analyzed and compared between the two *** Twenty patients were treated with the conventional HTG-AP regimen,and 19 patients were additionally treated with *** receiving treatment,the triglycerides(TG)level of the CQCQD group was lower than that of the CQCQD group(3.14±0.25 mmol/L vs 4.96±0.47 mmol/L,P<0.01).After 3 d of treatment,the patients in the CQCQD group had more bowel movements than the control group(2.51±0.25 times vs 1.00±0.17 times,P=0.01).The gastrointestinal function of most patients returned to normal,and the acute gastrointestinal injury score was significantly lower than that of the control group(0.11±0.07 vs 0.42±0.11,P<0.01).CONCLUSION In patients with HTG-AP,CQCQD can significantly reduce the TG level,shorten the recovery time of defecation,significantly improve the gastrointestinal function.

AIM:To characterize the distribution of meibomian gland(MG)area loss(MGL)and its relationship with demographic characteristics,mites,and ***:This retrospective observational study included patients who visited the Dry Eye Clinic of Shenzhen Eye Hospital between June 2020 and August *** patient characteristics,ocular symptoms,Demodex test results of the eyelid edges,and the results of a comprehensive ocular surface analysis were *** was analyzed using Image J ***:This study enrolled 1204 outpatients aged 20-80(40.70±13.44)y,including 357 males(29.65%)and 847 females(70.35%).The patients were classified into mild(n=155;12.87%),moderate(n=795;66.03%),severe(n=206;17.11%),and extremely severe(n=48;3.99%)MGL *** was significantly larger in female than in male(P=0.006).The degree of MGL also significantly differed in age(P<0.001)and the more numbers of mites with severity(P<0.001).Multivariate disordered multinomial logistic regression analysis identified that female sex,older age,secretory symptoms,and a large number of mites were risk factors for MGL(P<0.05).CONCLUSION:Patients with MGL are more likely to be older,female,more numbers of mites,and increased secretion.
