Background：Enhanced recovery after surgery （ERAS） protocols or fast-track （FT） programs enable a shorter hospital stay and lower complication *** invasive surgery （MIS） is associated with a lesser trauma and a quicker recovery in many elective abdominal ***,little is known of the safety and effectiveness made by ERAS protocols combined with MIS for gastric *** purpose of this study was to evaluate the safety and effectiveness made by FT programs and MIS in combination or ***：We summarized an 11-year experience on gastric cancer patients undergoing elective laparotomy or minimally invasive gastric resection in standard cares （SC） or FT programs during January 2004 to December 2014.A total of 984 patients were enrolled and assigned into four groups：open gastrectomies （OG） with SC （OG ＋ SC group,n =167）;OG with FT programs （OG ＋ FT group,n =277）;laparoscopic gastrectomies （LG） with FT programs （LG ＋ FT group,n =248）;and robot-assisted gastrectomies （RG） with FT programs （RG ＋ FT group,n =292）.Patients＆#39; data were collected to evaluate the clinical *** primary end point was the length of postoperative hospital ***：The OG ＋ SC group showed the longest postoperative hospital stay （mean：12.3 days,median：11 days,interquartile range [IQR]：6-16 days）,while OG ＋ FT,LG ＋ FT,and RG ＋ FT groups recovered faster （mean：7.4,6.4,and 6.6 days,median：6,6,and 6 days,IQR：3-9,4-8,and 3-9 days,respectively,all P 〈 0.001）.The postoperative rehabilitation parameters such as flatus time after surgery （4.7 ± 0.9,3.1 ± 0.8,3.0± 0.9,and 3.1 ± 0.9 days） followed the same *** 30 postoperative days＆#39; follow-up,the total incidence of complications was 9.6% in OG ＋ SC group,10.1% in OG ＋ FT group,8.1% in LG ＋ FT group,and 10.3% in RG ＋ FT *** complications showed no significant differences between the four groups （all P 〉 0.05）.Conclusions：ERAS protocols alone could significantly bring fast recovery after surgery regardle

Ecological risk assessment of the Gannan Plateau,northeastern Tibetan Plateau

Desertification, soil salinization and grassland degradation are the major environmental hazards faced by the Gannan Plateau, northeastern Tibetan Plateau. Ecological risk assessment plays an important role in formulating environmental management strategies yet little attention to this region. In this study, we established an ecological risk assessment index system based on 30 evaluation indices in the categories of hydrometeorology, ecological environment, ground surface disturbance, and society and economy for the Gannan Plateau. An entropy method was used to calculate an index weight,and subsequently the matter-element method was used together with extension theory to establish a matter-element extension model of ecological risk. We assessed the ecological risk in this region by calculating the degree of association between index layer, system layer and target layer, and the cumulative ecological risk index. The degrees of ecological risk for the counties of the region were determined by using Arc GIS which would represent a spatial heterogeneity of the risk grade in production. Our results showed that the areas of high ecological risk were in Zhouqu County and Zhuoni County, and others were of low risk(Hezuo City, Diebu County, Xiahe County and Lintan County) or intermediate risk(Maqu County). The results of the assessment were in accord with the actual observed situation. Thus, our ecological risk assessment index system is appropriate for this region and suggests that high risk counties need a priori ecological protection. Such research could provide a technological support which would potentially prevent or reduce disasters by establishing an ecological barrier to promote the sustainable development of Gannan Plateau.

研究唐古特白刺叶对3%葡聚糖硫酸钠(DSS)诱导的溃疡性结肠炎小鼠的缓解作用及可能的作用机制.采用DSS诱导小鼠溃疡性结肠炎,用唐古特白刺叶提取物给予治疗,通过HE染色法、疾病活动指数(DAI)、结肠组织病理学评分、酶联免疫吸附测定法(ELISA)检测血清中炎性因子IL-6、IL-1β、TNF-α的水平,并采用HPLC-ESI-HRMS/MS对白刺叶提取物进行化学成分指认和鉴定,在化学成分的基础上,基于HepG-2细胞对活性氧(ROS)、谷胱甘肽转移酶(GSH)、超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)、过氧化氢酶(CAT)等抗氧化酶水平进行检测.与正常组比较,模型组结肠显著缩短,DAI评分显著增加,血清中IL-6、IL-1β、TNF-α水平(P<0.01)升高,在HepG-2细胞中,模型组活性氧(ROS)水平升高,GSH、SOD、CAT降低(P<0.05);与模型组比较,白刺叶提取物组小鼠DAI评分和血清中IL-6、IL-1β、TNF-α水平降低(P<0.01),溃疡性结肠炎症状减轻,且在HepG-2细胞中,白刺叶提取物组ROS水平降低,GSH、SOD、CAT水平升高(P<0.05).唐古特白刺叶对DSS诱导的溃疡性结肠炎具有治疗作用,其作用机制可能与降低炎症因子和活性氧水平,同时升高抗氧化酶密切相关.

Identification and Gene Mapping of a multi-floret spikelet 1 (mfs1) Mutant Associated with Spikelet Development in Rice

In this study, a rice spikelet mutant, multi-floret spikelet 1 （mfsl）, which was derived from ethylmethane sulfonate （EMS）- treated Jinhui 10 （Oryza sativa L. ssp. indica） exhibited pleiotropic defects in spikelet development. The mfsl spikelet displayed degenerated the empty glume, elongated the rachilla, the extra lemma-like organ and degraded the palea. Additionally, mfsl flowers produced varied numbers of inner floral organs. The genetic analysis revealed that the mutational trait was controlled by a single recessive gene. With 401 recessive individuals from the F2 segregation population, the MFS1 gene was finally mapped on chromosome 5, an approximate 350 kb region. The present study will be useful for cloning and functional analysis of MFS1, which would facilitate understanding of the molecular mechanism involved in spikelet development in rice.

Knowledge of glacier changes and associated hazards is of great importance for the safety consideration of the population and infrastructure in the mountainous regions of Upper Indus Basin(UIB).In this study,we assessed the variations in glacier velocity,glacier surface elevation change,meteorological conditions,and permafrost distribution in Badswat and Shishkat catchments located in UIB to access the potential impact on the occurrence of debris flow in both *** find that the glacier surface velocity increased during the debris flow event in the Badswat catchment and the mean daily temperature was 3.7℃to 3.9℃higher in most of the *** enhanced glacier surface elevation lowering period coincide with the rise in temperature during spring and autumn months between 2015 to 2019 in Badswat *** source region of debris flow falls within the lower boundary of permafrost occurrence zone and lies below the 0℃isotherm during late spring and summer *** Shishkat catchment the 0℃isotherm reaches above the debris flow source area during August and the glacier do not show any significant variations in velocity and surface elevation *** debris flow source area is adjacent to the slow-moving rock glacier in Shishkat catchment while in Badswat catchment the debris flow initiated from the former glacier *** catchments are largely glacierized and thus sensitive to changes in climatic conditions and changes in the cryosphere response possess significant threats to the population *** monitoring of cryosphere-climate change in the region can contribute toward the improvement of disaster risk reduction and mitigation policies.
