In this study,a step-scheme photocatalytic system comprising one-dimensional In_(2)O_(3)nanorods and two-dimensional ZnIn_(2)S_(4)nanosheets was developed for the catalytic photofixation of *** effects of the combination of In_(2)O_(3)with ZnIn_(2)S_(4)on the crystallinity,microstructure,optical absorption,and charge transfer behavior of the In_(2)O_(3)/ZnIn_(2)S_(4)hybrid photocatalysts were *** from the synergistic effects of the photogenerated vacancies and a step-scheme charge separation mechanism,the In_(2)O_(3)/ZnIn_(2)S_(4)hybrid photocatalyst exhibited significantly enhanced catalytic activity compared to those of bare In_(2)O_(3)and pure ZnIn_(2)S_(4),and an optimized 50 wt%In_(2)O_(3)/ZnIn_(2)S_(4)hybrid sample was found to exhibit superior catalytic activity for the photofixation of N2,fixing 18.1±0.77 mg·L-1 of ammonia after exposure to simulated sunlight for 2 ***,the results of trapping experiments and electron paramagnetic resonance investigation to identify the active species confirmed that the catalytic nitrogen photofixation performance was highly correlated with the presence of·CO_(2)-radicals rather than photogenerated electrons,especially when methanol was used as a hole *** summary,the reported In_(2)O_(3)/ZnIn_(2)S_(4)hybrid photocatalysts exhibit both stability and high activity for the photofixation of N_(2),making them promising catalysts for sunlight-driven artificial N_(2)fixation.

Background Localization of sensory cortical areas during the operation is essential to preserve the sensory function. Intraoperative direct electrostimulation under awake anesthesia is the golden standard but time-consuming. We applied 3T high field blood oxygen level-dependent （BOLD） functional magnetic resonance imaging （fMRI） to identify the relationship between glioma and cortical sensory areas preoperatively and to guide intraoperative direct electrostimulation for quick and precise localization. Methods Five glioma patients with sensory cortex involvement by or next to the lesion had preoperative BOLD fMRI to determine the spatial relationship of cortical sensory areas to the tumours. Bilateral hand opposite movement was performed by these patients for fMRI. Precentral and postcentral gyri were identified by electrical stimulation during the operation. Karnofsky Performance Status scores of the patients＇ pre- and postoperative and the role of BOLD fMRI were evaluated. Results The cortical sensory areas were all activated in five glioma patients involving postcentral gyrus areas by BOLD fMRI with bilateral hand opposite movement. The detected activation areas corresponded with the results from cortical electrical stimulation. Conclusions The relationship between cortical sensory areas and tumour can be accurately shown by BOLD fMRI before operation. And the information used to make the tumour resection could obtain good clinical results.

Background Catheter-directed thrombolysis （CDT） for deep venous thrombosis （DV-F） of the lower extremity has good effect, but whether iliac vein stent placement after thrombolytic therapy is still controversial. The goal of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of stent placement in the iliac vein following CDT in lower extremity DVT. Methods This was a single-canter, prospective, randomized controlled clinical trial. After receiving CDT, the major branch of the distal iliac vein was completely patent in 155 patients with lower extremity DVT, and 74 of these patients with iliac vein residual stenosis of 〉50% were randomly divided into a control group （n=29） and a test group （n=45）. In the test group, stents were implanted in the iliac vein, whereas no stents were implanted in the control group. We evaluated the clinical indicators, including patency of the deep vein, C in CEAP classification, Venous Clinical Severity Score （VCSS）, and Chronic Venous Insufficiency Questionnaire （CIVIQ） Score. Results All patients had postoperative follow-up visits for a period of 6-24 months. Venography or color ultrasound was conducted in subjects. There was a significant difference between the patency rate at the last follow-up visit （87.5% vs. 29.6%） and the 1-year patency rate （86.0% vs. 54.8%） between the test and control groups. The change in the C in CEAP classification pre- and post-procedure was significantly different between the test and control groups （1.61±0.21 vs. 0.69±0.23）. In addition, at the last follow-up visit, VCSS and CIVIQ Score were both significantly different between the test and control groups （7.57±0.27 vs. 0.69±0.23; 22.67±3.01 vs. 39.34±6.66, respectively）. Conclusion The stenting of iliac vein obstruction following CDT in lower extremity DVT may increase the patency of the deep vein, and thus provides better efficacy and quality of life.

AIM: To explore Chinese physicians' perceptions towards fecal microbiota transplantation(FMT) and to provide information and an assessment of FMT development in ***: A self-administered questionnaire was developed according to the FMT practice guidelines and was distributed to physicians in hospitals via Internet Research Electronic Data Capture(REDcap) software and electronic mails to assess their attitudes toward and knowledge of FMT. The questionnaire included a brief introduction of FMT that was followed by 20 questions. The participants were required to respond voluntarily, under the condition of anonymity and without compensation. Except for the fill-in-the-blank questions, all of the other questions were required in the REDcap data collection systems, and the emailed questionnaires were completed based on ***: Up to December 9, 2014, 844 eligible questionnaires were received out of the 980 distributed questionnaires, with a response rate of 86.1%. Among the participants, 87.3% were from tertiary hospitals, and there were 647(76.7%) gastroenterologists and 197(23.3%) physicians in other departments(nongastroenterologists). Gastroenterologists' awareness of FMT prior to the survey was much higher than non-gastroenterologists'(54.3 vs 16.5%, P < 0.001); however, acceptance of FMT was not statistically different(92.4 vs 87.1%, P = 0.1603). Major concerns of FMT included the following: acceptability to patients(79.2%), absence of guidelines(56.9%), and administration and ethics(46.5%). On the basis of understanding, the FMT indications preferred byphysicians were recurrent Clostridium difficile infection(86.7%), inflammatory bowel disease combined with Clostridium difficile infection(78.6%), refractory ulcerative colitis(70.9%), ulcerative colitis(65.4%), Crohn's disease(59.4%), chronic constipation(43.7%), irritable bowel syndrome(39.1%), obesity(28.1%) and type 2 diabetes(23.9%). High-molecular-weight glutenin subunits(HMW-GSs) are the most critical grain storage proteins that determine the unique processing qualities of wheat. Although it is a part of the superior HMW-GS pair(Dx5+Dy10), the contribution of the Dy10 subunit to wheat processing quality remains unclear. In this study, we elucidated the effect of Dy10 on wheat processing quality by generating and analyzing a deletion mutant(with the Dy10-null allele), and by elucidating the changes to wheat flour following the incorporation of purified Dy10. The Dy10-null allele was transcribed normally,but the Dy10 subunit was lacking. These findings implied that the Dy10-null allele reduced the glutenin:gliadin ratio and negatively affected dough strength(i.e., Zeleny sedimentation value, gluten index, and dough development and stability times) and the bread-making quality;however, it positively affected the biscuit-making quality. The incorporation of various amounts of purified Dy10 into wheat flour had a detrimental effect on biscuit-making quality. The results of this study demonstrate that the Dy10 subunit is essential for maintaining wheat dough strength. Furthermore, the Dy10-null allele may be exploited by soft wheat breeding programs.

Due to the worldwide epidemic of allergic disease and a cure nowhere in sight,there is a crucial need to explore its pathophysiological *** allergic disease has been associated with gut dysbiosis,we searched for a possible mechanism from the perspective of the molecular interface between host and microbiota with concurrent metabolomics and microbiome composition ***-Dawley rats were injected with Artemisia pollen extract to stimulate a hyper reaction to *** hyper reaction decreased the circulation of valine,isoleucine,aspartate,glutamate,glutamine,indole-propionate(IPA),and myo-inositol,and reduced short-chain fatty acids(SCFAs)in *** beneficial genera belonging to Ruminococcaceae,Lachnospiraceae,and Clostridiales declined in the model group,whereas Helicobacter and Akkermansia were only expressed in the model ***,the expression of intestinal claudin-3 and liver fatty acid binding protein was downregulated in the model group and associated with metabolic changes and *** results suggest that alterations in amino acids as well as their derivatives(especially valine,and IPA which is the reductive product of tryptophan),SCFAs,and the gut microbiome(specifically Akkermansia and Helicobacter)may disrupt the intestinal barrier function by inhibiting the expression of claudin proteins and affecting the mucus layer,which further results in hay fever.

Diabetic kidney disease(DKD)is one of the major chronic complications of diabetes mellitus(DM),as well as a main cause of end-stage renal *** the last few years,substantial research studies have revealed a contributory role of gut microbiota in the process of DM and *** of gut microbiota like lipopolysaccharide,short-chain fatty acids,and trimethylamine N-oxide are key mediators of microbial–host ***,the underlying mechanisms of how gut microbiota influences the onset and progression of DKD are relatively ***,strategies to remodel the composition of gut microbiota or to reduce the metabolites of microbiota have been found recently,representing a new potential remedial target for *** this minireview,we will address the possible contribution of the gut microbiota in the pathogenesis of DKD and its role as a therapeutic target.
