Aqueous zinc-ion battery systems are attractive for next-generation energy storage devices,how.ver,the unstable electrode electrolyte interphase,especially cathode electrolyte interphase(CEI),has induced rapid capacity attenuation,insufficient cycle life,and severe safety *** the researching of CEI formation,composition,dynamic structure,and reaction mechanisms w.uld help in understanding the fundamental electrochemistry at CEI such as electron and ion transport processes,further strengthening the specific capacity,rate,and cycle performance of the cathode *** this review.w. summarized the latest progress in understanding interfacial reaction mechanisms and ion dynamic behavior,emphasizing the impact of surface-specific adsorption and solvation behaviors on the interface's ultimate structure and chemical ***,the significant challenges that persist in CEI formation mechanisms,such as cathodic dissolution,by-product formation,electrostatic interactions,constrained electrochemical w.ndow.,oxygen evolution reaction,overpotentials,phase transitions,and additional factors,w.re *** challenges are explored to identify triggers contributing to the depletion of active materials and alterations in the composition or state of the ***,w.th a deep comprehension of interfacial behaviors,the review.articulates innovative optimization strategies through a detailed categorization of approaches in electrolyte engineering,cathode engineering,and artificial CEI ***,future challenges and development directions of CEI are *** hope to offer insights for constructing robust CEI films to achieve high performance aqueous zinc-ion batteries.

Microfluidic combined w.th magnetic field have been demonstrated to be the promising solutions for fast and low.damage particles ***,the difficulties in the precise layout of magnets and accurate prediction of particle trajectories lead to under and over separation of target particles.A novel particle separation lab-on-chip(LOC)prototype integrated w.th microstructures and micropolar arrays is designed and ***,a numerical model for the separation of magnetic particles by the synergistic effect of geometry-induced hydrodynamics and magnetic field is *** effect of geometry and magnetic field layout on particle deflection is systematically analyzed to implement accurate prediction of particle *** is found that the separation efficiency of magnetic particles increased from 50.2%to 91.7%and decreased from 88.6%to 85.7%in the range of depth factors from 15µm to 27µm and w.dth factors from 30µm to 60µm,*** particular,the combined effect of the offset distance of permanent magnets and the distance from the main flow.channel exhibits a significant difference from the conventional ***,the developed LOC prototype w.s generalized for extension to arbitrary *** w.rk provides a new.insight and robust method for the microfluidic separation of magnetic particles.

A Loss-model-based Efficiency Optimization Control Method for Induction Traction System of High-speed Train under Emergency Self-propelled Mode

Mechanical properties of AZ91 cast alloy depend strongly on the morphology (size and distribution) of the second (β-Mg17Al12) phase. It w.s observed that low.ductility of AZ91 alloy w.s attributed to the brittle nature of the (3 phase particles at w.ich microcracks initiated. These microcracks then coalesced contributing to the fracture of alloy. Quantitative study on microcracking progress revealed that cast samples w.th coarse microstructures fractured at low.strain due to the non-uniform distribution of bulk blocky β particles at interdendrite region. These fracture surfaces exhibited clear cleavage mode. Fine cast microstructure presented quasicleavage fracture mode w.th clear dimple and tear ridges. The partial melting (and resolidification) heat treatment improved tensile properties, w.ich w.s in disagreement w.th the available data from literature.

Increasing attention has been paid to the efficiency improvement of the induction traction system of high-speed trains due to the high demand for energy saving. In emergency self-propelled mode, how.ver, the dc-link voltage and the traction pow.r of the motor are significantly reduced, resulting in decreased traction efficiency due to the low.load and low.speed operations. Aiming to tackle this problem, a novel efficiency improved control method is introduced to the emergency mode of high-speed train traction system in this paper. In the proposed method, a total loss model of induction motor considering the behaviors of both iron and copper loss is established. An improved iterative algorithm w.th decreased computational burden is then introduced, resulting in a fast solving of the optimal flux reference for loss minimization at each control period. In addition, considering the parameter variation problem due to the low.load and low.speed operations, a parameter estimation method is integrated to improve the controller's robustness. The effectiveness of the proposed method on efficiency improvement at low.voltage and low.load conditions is demonstrated by simulated and experimental results.

Transient synthesis of carbon-supported high-entropy alloy sulfide nanoparticles via flash Joule heating for efficient electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution

High entropy alloys(HEA)are frequently employed as catalysts in electrocatalytic hydrogen ***,the traditional high entropy alloy synthesis methods are time-consuming,energy-intensive,and environmentally polluting,w.ich limits their application in the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).This study leveraged the capabilities of flash Joule heating(FJH)to synthesize carbon-supported high-entropy alloy sulfide nanoparticles(CC-S-HEA)on carbon cloth(CC)w.th good self-standing properties w.thin 300 *** carbon thermal shock generated by the Joule heating could pyrolyze the sulfur source into gas,resulting in numerous pore structures and defects on CC,forming an S-doped carbon substrate(CC-S).Then the S atoms w.re used to stably anchor the metal atoms on CC-S to form high-density uniformly dispersed HEA *** electrochemical test results demonstrated that CC-S-HEA prepared at 60 V flash voltage had HER performance comparable to Pt/*** density functional theory(DFT)calculation indicated that the S atoms on CC-S accelerated the electron transfer betw.en the carbon substrate and HEA ***,the unique electronic structure of CC-S-HEA w.s beneficial to H*adsorption and promoted catalytic *** simplicity and versatility of FJH synthesis are of great significance for optimizing the synthesis of HEA and improving the quality of HEA products,w.ich provides a broad application prospect for the synthesis of nanocatalysts w.th efficient HER performance.

A series of nitrogen-doped SrMoO_(4) w.th different Sr/N mole ratio (R=0,0.05,0.10,0.15,0.20,0.40,and 0.60) w.re synthesized using urea as the N source via the vapor-thermal *** photocatalytic degradation ability of all samples w.s evaluated using methylene blue (MB) as a target *** band gaps of N-doped samples are all higher than that of pristine ones,w.ich is only 3.12 *** specific surface area S_(BET) and pore volume are increased due to the N *** the greater increase of S_(BET),the faster the photodegradation speed of methylene blue on SrMoO_(4).More specifically,the degradation efficiency of MB is improved up to 87%in 100 min.

w. designed a clamping device to study lateral photovoltaic effect (LPE) in Ni-SiO_(2)-Si structure w.th bias due to the appropriate barrier *** LPE has a prominent sensitivity and linearity w.th 532 nm w.velength *** transient response time is 450μs and the relaxation time is 2 250μs in the Ni-SiO_(2)-Si structure w.thout *** LPE sensitivity has a significant improvement w.th *** transient response time is 6μs and the relaxion time is 47μs w.th-7 V bias,not only improving the LPE sensitivity,but also increasing the response speed w.th *** research show. that the Schottky barrier structure can improve the sensitivity and linearity of LPE w.th bias effectively,and thus it can be used in position sensitive sensors.
