Erigerontis Herba(EH),the dried whole plant of Erigeron breviscapus,is well-known for circulating blood,activating meridians to alleviate pain,expelling wind,and clearing away *** has been extensively utilized in southern China for the treatment of stroke hemiplegia,chest stuffiness and pains,rheumatic arthralgia,headache,and *** review focuses on the botany,ethnopharmacology,phytochemistry,pharmacology and toxicity of EH and its related prescriptions to offer new insights for prospective research of *** information about EH was retrieved from ancient records and books,PubMed,China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Chinese Pharmacopoeia,Web of Science,Doctoral and Master’s Theses,and various electronic *** is a member of Compositae family and is mainly grown in southern *** Chinese medicine records that EH has the effects of circulating blood and removing blood stasis,expelling wind,and removing cold,as well as relieving rigidity of muscle and relieving *** now,nearly 200 ingredients have been characterized from EH,including flavonoids,caffeoyls,aromatic acids,coumarins,pentacyclic terpenoids,volatile oil and other *** extracts,EH related prescriptions(Dengzhan Xixin injection,Dengzhan Shengmai capsules,etc.)or compounds(scutellarin,scutellarein,etc.)possessed obvious therapeutic effects of ischemic stroke,cerebral hemorrhage,myocardial infarction,Alzheimer’s disease,diabetes and its complications,gastric cancer,bone,and joint degenerative ***,the major active compound of EH,has been used as a quality *** no obvious toxicity of EH has been *** to its traditional applications,ethnopharmacology,phytochemistry,pharmacology,and toxicity,EH was applied as a valuable herb for clinical application in food and medicine *** several compounds have been shown to possess diverse biological activities,the underlying mechanisms of their actions remain *** fully exploi

Fully self-consistent relativistic random phase approximation(RRPA)is built on the relativistic mean field ground state with a non-linear relativistic *** consistency requires that the same effective interaction is adopted to simultaneously describe both the ground states and the excited states of the *** and accurate numerical results of the nuclear giant resonances obtained in the RRPA require fully consistent *** some excitation modes they are extremely sensitive to consistent treatment,e.g.,such as isoscalar giant monopole and dipole resonances(ISGMR and ISGDR).In this work we perform the numerical calculations in the case of ISGDR for ^(208)Pb and check the *** spurious state in the ISGDR vanishes once the full self-consistency is achieved.

The Nuclear Incompressibility and Isoscalar Giant Dipole Resonance in Relativistic Continuum Random Phase Approximation

The isoscalar giant dipole resonance(ISGDR)in nuclei is studied in the framework of a fully self-consistent relativistic continuum random phase approximation(RCRPA).In this method the contribution of the continuum spectrum to nuclear excitations is treated exactly by the single particle Green's function *** employ different type interactions(NL1,NL3,NL3^(*),NL4,TM1,NLSH and PK1)corresponding to incompressibilities in the range 200–360 *** results are discussed in comparison with the existing experimental *** is found that the termη=5/3can remove spurious components from the admixture of the center of mass state *** ISGDR distribution has two components,the lower-energy component and the higher-energy *** is a large amount of very sharp peaks in the lower-energy region in RCRPA *** the higher-energy component is sensitive to the value of nuclear incompressibility employed in the calculations;the position of the lower-energy component is completely independent of the nuclear incompressibility Knm.

Synthesis, Antimicrobial Activity, and Molecular Docking of Benzoic Hydrazide or Amide Derivatives Containing a 1,2,3-Triazole Group as Potential SDH Inhibitors

The present study was carried out in an attempt to synthesize a new class of antimicrobial agents containing a 1,2,3-triazole motif formed by classical copper catalyzed click *** bioassay results showed that five compounds 5a;5e,5h,5j,and 5k possessed a remarkable growth inhibitory activity against Botryosphaeria dothidea,Rhizoctonia solani and Gibberella zeae with EC_(50) values within 10.0-0.306μg/*** in vitro efficacy was better than those of the commercial agrochemicals Azoxystrobin,Boscalid,and *** vivo trials showed that compound 51 was effective for the control of rice sheath blight and wheat scab with the effects of 75% and 95%,*** mechanism studies suggested that target compounds were potential succinate dehydrogenase inhibitors(SDHIs),which were proposed by the agreeable molecular docking study and restrained SDH activity(IC_(50)=3.95 μg/mL,51).Interestingly,compounds 5r and 5s displayed good antibacterial activity against *** vivo screening of 5r and 5s against rice bacterial blight afforded a superior control effect(up to 51%)than those of commercial agents Bismerthiazol and Thiodiazole *** current studies could support some title compounds to be the lead compounds for exploring highly bioactive antimicrobial substrates,particularly the potential SDHIs.

Physical mechanisms of contact-electrification induced photon emission spectroscopy from interfaces

Photon emission during contact electrification(CE)has recently been observed,which is called as CE-induced interface photon emission spectroscopy(CEIIPES).Physical mechanisms of CEIIPES are essential for interpreting the structure and electronic interactions of a contacted *** the methods of density functional theory(DFT)and time-dependent DFT(TDDFT),it is confirmed theoretically that the spectrum of emitted photons is contributed from electron transfer and transition during ***,the excited electrons from higher energy state in one material may transfer to a lower energy state of another material followed by a transition;and/or some unstable excited electrons at a higher energy level of one material may transit to a lower energy state of itself,both of which result in ***,the CE-induced interface absorption spectrum(CEIIAS)has been demonstrated,due to the intermolecular electron transfer excitation.

Microstructural evolution during the progressive transformation-induced plasticity effect in a Fe-0.1C-5Mnmedium manganese steel

The microstructural evolution of a cold-rolled and intercritical annealed medium-Mn steel(Fe-0.10C-5Mn)was investigated during uniaxial tensile ***-situ observations under scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy,and X-ray diffraction analysis were conducted to characterize the progressive transformation-induced plasticity process and associated fracture initiation *** findings were discussed with the local strain measurements via digital image *** results indicated that Lüders band formation in the steel was limited to 1.5%strain,which was mainly due to the early-stage martensitic phase transformation of a very small amount of the less stable large-sized retained austenite(RA),which led to localized stress concentrations and strain hardening and further retardation of *** small-sized RA exhibited high stability and progressively transformed into martensite and contributed to a stably extended Portevin-Le Chatelier *** volume fraction of RA gradually decreased from 26.8%to 8.2%prior to *** the late deformation stage,fracture initiation primarily occurred at the austenite/martensite and ferrite/martensite interfaces and the ferrite phase.

Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)(NVP)has garnered great attentions as a prospective cathode material for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)by virtue of its decent theoretical capacity,superior ion conductivity and high structural ***,the inherently poor electronic conductivity and sluggish sodium-ion diffusion kinetics of NVP material give rise to inferior rate performance and unsatisfactory energy density,which strictly confine its further application in ***,it is of significance to boost the sodium storage performance of NVP cathode *** to now,many methods have been developed to optimize the electrochemical performance of NVP cathode *** this review,the latest advances in optimization strategies for improving the electrochemical performance of NVP cathode material are well summarized and discussed,including carbon coating or modification,foreign-ion doping or substitution and nanostructure and morphology *** foreign-ion doping or substitution is highlighted,involving Na,V,and PO_(4)^(3−)sites,which include single-site doping,multiple-site doping,single-ion doping,multiple-ion doping and so ***,the challenges and prospects of high-performance NVP cathode material are also put *** is believed that this review can provide a useful reference for designing and developing high-performance NVP cathode material toward the large-scale application in SIBs.

Ammonia pyrolysis oxidation excited by nanosecond pulsed discharge:Global/fluid models hybrid solution

The kinetic characteristics of plasma-assisted oxidative pyrolysis of ammonia are studied by using the global/fluid models hybrid solution ***,the stable products of plasma-assisted oxidative pyrolysis of ammonia are *** results show that the consumption of NH3/O2and the production of N2/H2change linearly with the increase of voltage,which indicates the decoupling of nonequilibrium molecular excitation and oxidative pyrolysis of ammonia at low ***,the detailed reaction kinetics mechanism of ammonia oxidative pyrolysis stimulated by a nanosecond pulse voltage at low pressure and room temperature is *** on the reaction path analysis,the simplified mechanism is *** detailed and simplified mechanism simulation results are compared with experimental data to verify the accuracy of the simplified ***,based on the simplified mechanism,the fluid model of ammonia oxidative pyrolysis stimulated by the nanosecond pulse plasma is established to study the pre-sheath/sheath behavior and the resultant consumption and formation of key *** results show that the generation,development,and propagation of the pre-sheath have a great influence on the formation and consumption of *** consumption of NH3by the cathode pre-sheath is greater than that by the anode pre-sheath,but the opposite is true for OH and O（1S）.However,within the sheath,almost all reactions do not ***,by changing the parameters of nanosecond pulse power supply voltage,it is found that the electron number density,electron current density,and applied peak voltages are not the direct reasons for the structural changes of the sheath and ***,the discharge interval has little effect on the sheath structure and gas mixture *** research results of this paper not only help to understand the kinetic promotion of non-equilibrium excitation in the process of oxidative pyrolysis but also help to explore th

It has been reported that the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway plays a key role in the pathogenesis of ischemic *** a result,the development of drugs targeting the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway has attracted increasing attention from *** article reviews the pathological mechanisms and advancements in research related to the signaling pathways in ischemic stroke,with a focus on the PI3K/AKT signaling *** key findings include the following:(1)The complex pathological mechanisms of ischemic stroke can be categorized into five major types:excitatory amino acid toxicity,Ca^(2+)overload,inflammatory response,oxidative stress,and apoptosis.(2)The PI3K/AKT-mediated signaling pathway is closely associated with the occurrence and progression of ischemic stroke,which primarily involves the NF-κB,NRF2,BCL-2,mTOR,and endothelial NOS signaling pathways.(3)Natural products,including flavonoids,quinones,alkaloids,phenylpropanoids,phenols,terpenoids,and iridoids,show great potential as candidate substances for the development of innovative anti-stroke medications.(4)Recently,novel therapeutic techniques,such as electroacupuncture and mesenchymal stem cell therapy,have demonstrated the potential to improve stroke outcomes by activating the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway,providing new possibilities for the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with ischemic *** investigations should focus on the direct regulatory mechanisms of drugs targeting the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway and their clinical translation to develop innovative treatment strategies for ischemic stroke.
