Open-shell graphene nanostructures(GNs)are promising candidates for future spintronics and quantum *** progress based on on-surface synthetic approach has successfully created such GNs on metallic ***,the doping effect of metallic surfaces is inevitably present and can significantly tune their electronic and magnetic ***,we investigate the zigzag end states of open-shell 7-armchair graphene nanoribbons(7-AGNRs)on Au(1.1.,Au(1.0)and Ag(1.1.*** with the manipulation of a scanning tunneling microscope,we demonstrate that the end states can be tuned from empty states to singly occupied states and to doubly occupied states by substrate ***,the singly occupied states can be finely tuned,with the occupancy number of the states and related magnetic behaviors uncovered by experiments at different temperatures and magnetic *** results provide a comprehensive study of the magnetic response of open-shell GNs on metallic surfaces at different doping levels.

The piezotronics effect utilizes a piezopotential to modulate and control current in *** materials,as a type of piezoelectric materials,possess piezoelectric coefficients that are significantly larger than those found in conventional piezoelectric ***,we propose a strain modulated ferroelectric field-effect transistor(St-FeFET)utilizing external strain instead of gate voltage to achieve ferroelectric modulation,which eliminates the need for gate *** applying a very small strain(0.01.),the St-FeFET can achieve a maximum on-off current ratio of 1.50%and realizes a gauge factor(GF)of 1.1.×1.^(6),which is much higher than that of conventional strain *** work proposes a new method for realizing highly sensitive strain sensors and presents innovative approaches to the operation methods of ferroelectric field-effect transistors as well as potential applications for coupling of strain sensors and various devices across different fields.

Drought is a main abiotic stress factor hindering plant growth,development,and crop ***,it is crucial to understand the mechanisms by which plants cope with drought ***,the function of the maize peroxidase gene ZmPRX1.in drought stress tolerance was investigated by measurement of its expression in response to drought treatment both in a ZmPRX1.overexpression line and a mutant *** higher root lignin accumulation and seedling survival rate of the overexpression line than that of the wild type or mutant support a role for ZmPRX1.in maize drought tolerance by regulating root development and ***,yeast one-hybrid,Dule luciferase and ChIP-qPCR assays showed that ZmPRX1.is negatively regulated by a nuclear-localized ZmWRKY86 transcription *** gene could potentially be used for breeding of drought-tolerant cultivars.

Let f be any arithmetic function and define S_f（x）:=Σn≤xf （[x/n]）.If the function f is small,namely,f （n）﹤﹤ nε,then the error term E_f（x） in the asymptotic formula of S_f（x） has the form O(x1.2+ε).In this paper,we shall study the mean square of E_f（x） and establish some new results of E_f（x） for some special functions.

In the context of global warming,the extreme summer precipitation over the Tibetan Plateau(TP)has changed *** this study,the summer(June–August)extreme precipitation on the TP was classified into three spatial types by applying the K-means clustering method to the Third Pole Region long time-series high-resolution(1.30°)precipitation dataset(TPHi Pr,1.79–2020).The characteristics of the circulation anomalies and precursors corresponding to the extreme precipitation on the TP in summer during 1.79–2020 were *** results showed that the summer extreme precipitation of the TP can be categorized into northwestern(NW),southeastern(SE),and southern Himalayan(HS)types based on extreme precipitation *** NW and SE types are mainly influenced by anomalous signals in the mid-to-high latitude regions upstream of them,whereas the HS type is controlled by the localized subtropical anomalous *** the 8th day before the onset of the NW type,an anomalous cyclone was observed in the western Atlantic Ocean(60°W,50°N),which triggered the west-to-east quasi-latitudinal propagation of Rossby *** the onset day of the NW type,the upper troposphere showed positive-negative-positive geopotential height anomalies along the latitudinal 40°N from the Caspian Sea,the western part of Xinjiang,to the northeastern *** entered from the Arabian Sea along the southeastern edge of the anomalous cyclone on the southwestern TP and converged in the northwestern *** to the NW type,the precursors of the SE type appeared at higher latitudes and were more *** the 8th day before the onset of the SE type,an anomalous cyclone occurred near Greenland(60°W,70°N)and excited Rossby waves propagating *** the onset day of the SE type,the upper troposphere showed negative-positive-negative geopotential height anomalies across Eurasia from the Ural Mountains and the Iranian Plateau to the northern TP in the northwest-southeast directi

BACKGROUND Cartilage defects are some of the most common causes of *** lesions caused by inflammation,trauma or degenerative disease normally result in osteochondral *** studies have shown that decellularized extracellular matrix(ECM)derived from autologous,allogenic,or xenogeneic mesenchymal stromal cells(MSCs)can effectively restore osteochondral *** To determine whether the decellularized ECM of antler reserve mesenchymal cells(RMCs),a xenogeneic material from antler stem cells,is superior to the currently available treatments for osteochondral *** We isolated the RMCs from a 60-d-old sika deer antler and cultured them in vitro to 70%confluence;50 mg/mL L-ascorbic acid was then added to the medium to stimulate ECM *** sheets of adipocyte-derived MSCs(aMSCs)and antlerogenic periosteal cells(another type of antler stem cells)were used as the *** weeks after ascorbic acid stimulation,the ECM sheets were harvested and applied to the osteochondral defects in rat knee *** The defects were successfully repaired by applying the *** highest quality of repair was achieved in the RMC-ECM group both in vitro(including cell attachment and proliferation),and in vivo(including the simultaneous regeneration of well-vascularized subchondral bone and avascular articular hyaline cartilage integrated with surrounding native tissues).Notably,the antler-stem-cell-derived ECM(xenogeneic)performed better than the aMSC-ECM(allogenic),while the ECM of the active antler stem cells was superior to that of the quiescent antler stem *** Decellularized xenogeneic ECM derived from the antler stem cell,particularly the active form(RMC-ECM),can achieve high quality repair/reconstruction of osteochondral defects,suggesting that selection of decellularized ECM for such repair should be focused more on bioactivity rather than kinship.

The wheels have a considerable influence on the aerodynamic properties and can contribute up to 25%of the total drag on modern *** this study,the effect of the wheel spoke structure on the aerodynamic performance of the isolated wheel is ***,the 35°Ahmed body with an optimized spoke structure is used to analyze the flow behavior and the mechanism of drag *** Fluent software is employed for this investigation,with an inlet velocity of 40 m/*** accuracy of the numerical study is validated by comparing it with experimental results obtained from the classical Ahmed *** gain a clearer understanding of the effects of the wheel spoke parameters on the aerodynamics of both the wheel and Ahmedmodel,and five design variables are proposed:the fillet angleα,the inside arc radius R1.the outside radius R2,and the same length of the chord L1.and *** variables characterize the wheel spoke *** Optimal Latin Hypercube designmethod is utilized to conduct the experimental *** on the simulation results of various wheel spoke designs,the Kriging model and the adaptive simulated annealing algorithm is selected to optimize the design *** objective is to achieve the best combination for maximum drag *** is indicated that the optimized spoke structure resulted in amaximum drag reduction of 5.7%and 4.7%for the drag coefficient of the isolated wheel and Ahmed body,*** drag reduction is primarily attributed to changes in the flow state around the wheel,which suppressed separation ***,it influenced the boundary layer thickness around the car body and reduced the turbulent kinetic energy in the wake *** effects collectively contributed to the observed drag reduction.

High-capacity nickel-rich layered oxides are promising cathode materials for high-energy-density lithium ***,the poor structural stability and severe side reactions at the electrode/electrolyte interface result in unsatisfactory cycle ***,the thin layer of two-dimensional(2D)graphitic carbon-nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4))is uniformly coated on the LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1.Mn_(0.1.O_(2)(denoted as NCM81.@CN)using a facile chemical vaporization-assisted synthesis *** an ideal protective layer,the g-C_(3)N_(4)layer effectively avoids direct contact between the NCM81. cathode and the electrolyte,preventing harmful side reactions and inhibiting secondary crystal ***,the unique nanopore structure and abundant nitrogen vacancy edges in g-C_(3)N_(4)facilitate the adsorption and diffusion of lithium ions,which enhances the lithium deintercalation/intercalation kinetics of the NCM81. *** a result,the NCM81.@CN-3wt%cathode exhibits 1.1.3 mAh g^(−1.and capacity retention of 84.6%at 0.5 C and 55°C after 400 cycles and 95.7 mAh g^(−1.at 1. C,which is greatly superior to the uncoated NCM81.(i.e.1.9.3 mAh g^(−1.and capacity retention of 67.4%at 0.5 C and 55°C after 220 cycles and 28.8 mAh g^(−1.at 1. C).The improved cycle performance of the NCM81.@CN-3wt%cathode is also applicable to solid–liquid-hybrid cells composed of PVDF:LLZTO electrolyte membranes,which show 1.3.8 mAh g^(−1.and the capacity retention of 88.1.at 0.1.C and 30°C after 200 cycles and 95.3 mAh g^(−1.at 1.C.

The nitrite(NO_(2)^(−))to ammonia(NH3)electroreduction reaction(NO_(2)^(−)RR)would be impeded by sluggish proton-coupled electron transfer kinetics and competitive hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).A key to improving the NH_(3) selectivity is to facilitate adsorption and activation of NO_(2)^(−),which is generally undesirable in unitary *** this work,an efficient NO_(2)^(−)RR catalyst is constructed by cooperating Pd with In2O3,in which NO_(2)^(−)could adsorb on interfacial dual-site through“Pd–N–O–In”linkage,leading to strengthened NO_(2)^(−)adsorption and easier N=O bond cleavage than that on unitary Pd or ***,the Pd/In_(2)O_(3)composite exhibits moderate H^(*)adsorption,which may facilitate protonation kinetics while inhibiting competitive *** a result,it exhibits a fairly high NH_(3)yield rate of 622.76 mmol h^(−1.g^(−1.cat with a Faradaic efficiency(FE)of 95.72%,good selectivity of 91.96%,and cycling stability towards the NO_(2)^(−)RR,surpassing unitary In_(2)O_(3)and Pd/C ***,computed results indicate that NH_(3)production on Pd/In_(2)O_(3)follows the deoxidation to hydrogenation *** work highlights the significance of H^(*)and NO_(2)^(−)adsorption modulation and N=O activation in NO_(2)^(−)RR electrochemistry by creating synergy between a mediocre catalyst with an appropriate cooperator.
