Enhanced memristor performance via coupling effect of oxygen vacancy and ferroelectric polarization

As a new type of nonvolatile memory,the resistive memristor has broad application prospects in in-formation storage and neural computing based on its excellent resistive switching(RS)*** present,it is still a great challenge to improve both ferroelectric polarization and leakage current to achieve a high RS on/offratio of ferroelectric ***,epitaxial Pb(Zr_(0.40)Ti_(0.60))O_(3)(PZT)thin films with low content Ca doping were deposited on the Nb:SrTiO_(3)substrate to prepare PCZT/NSTO het-erostructures and their RS behaviors were *** research findings show that compared with pure PZT film,the ferroelectric polarization of 1-mol%-Ca-doped PZT film is slightly improved,while the leak-age current is increased by three orders of ***,the RS on/offratio reaches 2.5×10^(5),about three orders of magnitude higher than pure PZT *** theoretical analysis reveals that the RS behavior of PCZT/NSTO heterostructures is controlled by the PCZT/NSTO interfacial barrier and the space charge-limited current *** results demonstrate that the ferroelectricity and electricity of ferroelectric thin films can be improved simultaneously by doping low-content Ca ions to increase the RS performance,which provides a good reference for the development of high-performance ferroelectric memristor devices.

Stabilizing iridium sites via interface and reconstruction regulations for water oxidation in alkaline and acidic media

Exploring effective iridium(Ir)-based electrocatalysts with stable iridium centers is highly desirable for oxygen evolution reaction(OER).Herein,we regulated the incorporation manner of Ir in Co_(3)O_(4)support to stabilize the Ir sites for effective *** anchored on the surface of Co_(3)O_(4)in the form of Ir(OH)_6 species,the created Ir-OH-Co interface leads to a limited stability and poor acidic OER due to Ir *** doped into Co_(3)O_(4)lattice,the analyses of X-ray absorption spectroscopy,in-situ Raman,and OER measurements show that the partially replacement of Co in Co_(3)O_(4)by Ir atoms inclines to cause strong electronic effect and activate lattice oxygen in the presence of Ir-O-Co interface,and simultaneously master the reconstruction effect to mitigate Ir dissolution,realizing the improved OER activity and stability in alkaline and acidic *** a result,Ir_(lat)@Co_(3)O_(4)with Ir loading of 3.67 wt%requires 294±4 mV/285±3 mV and 326±2 mV to deliver 10 mA cm^(-2)in alkaline(0.1 M KOH/1.0 M KOH)and acidic(0.5 M H_(2)SO_(4))solution,respectively,with good stability.

Molecular mechanism for the unusual enhancement of the second-step chemiluminescence production from the carcinogenic tetrabromohydroquinone and H2O_(2)

We have found recently that two-step intrinsic hydroxyl radical(·OH)-dependent chemiluminescence(CL)could be produced by carcinogenic tetrahaloquinone and H_(2)O_(2).However,the first-step CL was too fast to clearly detect the stepwise generation of·OH and CL,and to distinguish the exact dividing point between the first-step and second-step *** we found that,extremely clear two-step intrinsic CL could be produced by the relative slow reaction of tetrabromohydroquinone(TBHQ)with H_(2)O_(2),which was directly dependent on the two-step·OH ***,the second-step,but not the first-step CL production of TBHQ/H_(2)O_(2)(CRET donor)was markedly enhanced by fluorescein(a typical xanthene dye,CRET acceptor)through a unique chemiluminescence resonance energy transfer(CRET)*** novel CRET system of TBHQ/H_(2)O_(2)/fluorescein was successfully applied for the sensitive detection of TBHQ with the detection limit as low as 2.5μmol/*** findings will help to develop more sensitive and highly efficient CL or CRET systems and specific CL sensor to detect the carcinogenic haloquinones,which may have broad environmental applications.

Calculation of Mass Concrete Temperature and Creep Stress under the Influence of Local Air Heat Transfer

Temperature-induced cracking during the construction of mass concrete is a significant *** simulations of concrete temperature have primarily assumed that the concrete is placed in an open *** problem of heat transfer between the air and concrete has been simplified to the concrete’s heat dissipation ***,in the case of tubular concrete structures,where air inlet and outlet are relatively limited,the internal air temperature does not dissipate promptly to the external environment as it *** accurately simulate the temperature and creep stress in tubular concrete structures with enclosed air spaces during construction,we establish an air–concrete coupled heat transfer model according to the principles of conjugate heat transfer,and the accuracy of the model is verified through ***,we conduct a case study to analyze the impact of airflow within the ship lock corridor on concrete temperature and creep *** results demonstrate that enhancing airflow within the corridor can significantly reduce the maximum concrete *** with cases in which airflow within the corridor is neglected,the maximum concrete temperature and maximum tensile stress can be reduced by 12.5℃ and 0.7 MPa,respectively,under a wind speed of 4 m/*** results of the traditional calculation method are relatively close to those obtained at a wind speed of 1 m/***,the temperature reduction process in the traditional method is faster,and the method yields greater tensile stress values for the corridor location.

Preparation and combustion properties of laminated sticks of B-CuO and B-Bi_(2)O_(3)

To explore the composite process of B-CuO and B-Bi_(2)O_(3) two-component laminated sticks,obtain the corresponding sticks with good printing effect,and explore the energy release *** this study,boron,copper oxide,and bismuth trioxide powders were dispersed in the dispersed phase (DMF) using F_(2602) as a binder,and the construction of two-component B-CuO,B-Bi_(2)O_(3),three-component microcomposite,and three-component macro-composite sticks were realized with the help of double nozzle direct ink writing (DIW) technique *** resulting sticks were ignited by a nichrome wire energized with a direct current,and a high-speed camera system was used to record the combustion behavior of the sticks,mark the flame position,and calculate the rate of *** results showed that the B-CuO stick burning rate (42.11 mm·s^(-1)) was much higher than that of B-Bi_(2)O_(3)(17.84 mm·s^(-1)).The formulation with the highest CuO content (ω_(CuO)=58.7%) in the microscale composite of the sticks also had the fastest burning rate of 60.59 mm·s^(-1),as the CuO content decreased (ω_(CuO)=43.5%,29.3%),its burning rate decreased to 34.78 mm·s^(-1),37.97 mm·s^(-1).The stick with the highest copper oxide content(ω_(CuO)=60%) also possessed the highest burning rate (48.84 mm·s^(-1)) in the macro-composite sticks,and the burning rates of the macro-composite sticks with component spacing of 0.1 mm,0.2 mm,and 0.5 mm were 43.34 mm·s^(-1),48.84 mm·s^(-1),and 40.76 mm·s^(-1).

An experimental investigation into the thermal conductivity of CF-SiC two-phase composite asphalt concrete is *** main objective of this study was to verify the possibility of using SiC powder instead of mineral powder as the thermal conductive filler to prepare a new type of asphalt concrete and improve the efficiency of electrothermal snow and ice melting systems *** thermal conductivity of asphalt concrete prepared with different thermally conductive fillers was tested by a transient plane source method,and the related performances were *** the temperature rise rate and surface temperature were studied through field heating ***,the actual ice melting efficiency of the thermally conductive asphalt concrete was evaluated using an effective electrothermal *** shown by the experimental results,the composite made of SiC powder and carbon fiber has a high thermal *** SiC replaces mineral powder,the thermal conductivity of the asphalt mixture increases first and then decreases with the increase of carbon fiber *** the present study,in particular,the thermal conductivity attained a peak when the carbon fiber content was 0.2%of the aggregate mass.

Full-spectrum phosphor-converted white-light-emitting diodes(pc-WLED)are emerging as a mainstream technology in semiconductor ***,high-performance blue phosphor which can be excited efficiently by a 400 nm NUV diode chip is still ***,we present a blue-emitting Na_(3)KMg_(7)(PO_(4))6:Eu^(2+)phosphor synthesized by the solid-reaction ***,we find that the using of Li_(2)CO_(3)as flux can significantly improve the crystal quality and thus the emission efficiency of the ***,the excitation peak of the phosphor shifts from 365 to 400 nm,which is pivotal for efficient NUV(400 nm)diode chip *** practical Eu^(2+)concentration is also enhanced by using Li_(2)CO_(3)as flux,and the absorption efficiency is greatly *** phosphor exhibits superior PL thermal stability,namely retains 94%integrated photoluminescence intensity at 150℃of that at 25℃.As a result,the optimized phosphor shows an emission band peaked at 437 nm with a bandwidth of 40 nm and a high external photoluminescence quantum yield of 51.7%.Finally,a pc-WLED was fabricated by using NKMPO:Eu^(2+)blue,Sr_(2)SiO_(4):Eu^(2+)green,CaAlSiN_(3):Eu^(2+)red phosphors,and a 400 nm NUV diode *** shows a high color rendering index of R_(a)=96.4 and a correlated color temperature of 4358 *** results prove that NKMPO:Eu^(2+)is a promising blue phosphor for full-spectrum WLED based on NUV diode chips.

The RNA m^(6)A demethylase ALKBH5 drives emergency granulopoiesis and neutrophil mobilization by upregulating G-CSFR expression

Emergency granulopoiesis and neutrophil mobilization that can be triggered by granulocyte colony-stimulating factor(G-CSF)through its receptor G-CSFR are essential for antibacterial innate ***,the epigenetic modifiers crucial for intrinsically regulating G-CSFR expression and the antibacterial response of neutrophils remain largely unclear.N6-methyladenosine(m^(6)A)RNA modification and the related demethylase alkB homolog 5(ALKBH5)are key epigenetic regulators of immunity and inflammation,but their roles in neutrophil production and mobilization are still *** used cecal ligation and puncture(CLP)-induced polymicrobial sepsis to model systemic bacterial infection,and we report that ALKBH5 is required for emergency granulopoiesis and neutrophil ***5 depletion significantly impaired the production of immature neutrophils in the bone marrow of septic *** addition,Alkbh5-deficient septic mice exhibited higher retention of mature neutrophils in the bone marrow and defective neutrophil release into the circulation,which led to fewer neutrophils at the infection site than in their wild-type *** bacterial infection,ALKBH5 imprinted production-and mobilization-promoting transcriptome signatures in both mouse and human ***,ALKBH5 erased m^(6)A methylation on the CSF3R mRNA to increase the mRNA stability and protein expression of G-CSFR,consequently upregulating cell surface G-CSFR expression and downstream STAT3 signaling in *** RIP-qPCR results confirmed the direct binding of ALKBH5 to the CSF3R mRNA,and the binding strength declined upon bacterial infection,accounting for the decrease in G-CSFR expression on bacteria-infected *** these results collectively,we define a new role of ALKBH5 in intrinsically driving neutrophil production and mobilization through m^(6)A demethylation-dependent posttranscriptional regulation,indicating that m^(6)A RNA modification in neutrop
