Charge regulation by ferromagnetic metal/LiF spin-polarized interface for high-performance Li metal anodes

The interfacial characteristics of the Li metal anode(LMA)play a crucial role in its overall *** various materials being applied to modify the interface,a comprehensive understanding of their specific mechanisms remains to be ***,we have prepared carbon cloth(CC)frameworks with their surfaces modified using ferromagnetic metal/LiF heterogeneous films(T^(M)-LiF-CC)as the substrate for LMA,which exhibit superior electrochemical *** ferromagnetic Co as a representative example,our study demonstrates that the enhanced performance of Co-LiF-CC,compared to bare CC,is attributed to the spinpolarized interface contributed by the Co/LiF *** and LiF play individual roles in redistributing electrons and Li^(+)to promote homogeneous Li *** nanoparticles play a crucial role in generating strong surface capacitance by storing electrons in spin-split bands,while LiF,with low surface diffusion barriers,ensures fast transportation of Li^(+).The Co-LiF-CC@Li electrodes deliver long lives of 7400 and 3600 h at 1 and 2 mA·cm^(-2)in symmetric cells,respectively;moreover,they enable full batteries with high and durable capacities,particularly when the N/P ratios are low(3.3 or even 1.7).

Graphite anode materials are widely used in commercial lithium-ion batteries;however, the long electron/ion transportation path restricted its high energy storage. In this experiment, we designed a copper/graphite composite with a dual three-dimensional(3 D) continuous porous structure combining used nonsolvent-induced phase separation and heat treatment, in which a large amount of graphite is embedded in the 3 D porous copper/carbon architecture. In the novel structure, not only the electron and Li^(+) transmission performances are improved, but also the space of current collector is fully utilized. Meanwhile,carbonized polyacrylonitrile network stabilizes the interface between graphite and copper matrix. The obtained copper/graphite composite anode has an initial discharge capacity of 524.6 mAh·g^(-1), a holding capacity of350 mAh·g^(-1) and excellent cycle stability(299.3 mAh·g^(-1) after 180 cycles at 0.1 C rate), exhibiting good electrochemical performance. The experimental results show that the mass loading of the copper/graphite composite electrode material is about 4.39 mg·cm^(-2). We also envisage replacing graphite with other high-capacity active materials to fill the current collector, which can provide a reference for the future development of next-generation advanced electrodes.

Tuning single-phase medium-entropy oxides derived from nanoporous NiCuCoMn alloy as a highly stable anode for Li-ion batteries

Incorporating four cations into a single-phase oxide is beneficial for maintaining structural stability during Li+insertion/desertion because of the produced entropy-dominated phase stabilization effects. However,medium-entropy oxides exhibit inherently poor electron and ion conductivity. As such, in this work, a single-phase medium-entropy oxide of Ni_(x)Cu_(y)CozMn_(1-x-y-z)O(named as NCCM@oxides(H_(2))) is prepared by modified-NiCuCoMn alloy through the epitaxial-growing-based self-combustion and hydrogen reduction. During hydrogen reduction, some Cu ions are reduced to elemental Cu(defined as Cu^(0)),which is distributed among the metal oxides, while generating extensive oxygen vacancies around Cu. The synergetic effect between nanoporous metal-core oxide-shell structure and enriched oxygen/Cu^(0) vacancies greatly enhances the electronic/ionic conductivity. In addition, the lattice of single-phase quaternary metal oxides has the configuration entropy stability, which enables the rock-salt structure to remain stable during repeated conversion reactions. Benefiting from the above-mentioned merits, the anodeforLi-ionbatterieswithentropy-stabled NCCM@oxides(H_(2)) composite shows a high specific capacity of 699 mAh·g^(-1) at 0.1 A·g^(-1) and ultra-stable cycling stability, which maintains 618 and 489 mAh·g^(-1) at 0.1 and 1.0 A·g^(-1) after 200 cycles, respectively. This is the first use of this novel and simple strategy for modifying medium-entropy oxides, which paves the way for the development of high-entropy oxides as high-performance electrodes.

Liver resection for benign hepatic lesions:A retrospective analysis of 827 consecutive cases

AIM:To analyze the operative and perioperative factors associated with hepatectomy of benign hepatic ***:A total of 827 condecutive cases of benign hepatic lesion undergoing hepatectomy from January 1986 to December 2005 in the Chinese PLA General Hospital were investigated retrospectively according to their medical ***:The effect of operative and perioperative factors on the outcome of patients were *** the 827 cases undergoing hepatectomy for more than 3 liver segments accounted for 22.1%,316(38.21%) required transfusion of blood products during *** average operating time was 220.59 ± 109.13 min,the average hospital stay after operation was 13.55 ± 9.38 ***-Pugh A accounted for 98.13%.The postoperative complication rate was 13.54% and the in-hospital mortality rate was 0.24%.Multivariate analysis showed that operating time(P = 0.004,OR = 1.003) and albumin value(P = 0.040,OR = 0.938) were the independent predictors of morbidity and indicated that operating time,blood transfusion,complication rate,and LOS had a trend to ***:Hepatectomy for benign hepatic lesions can be performed safely with a low morbidity and mortality,provided that it is carried out with optimized perioperative management and an innovative surgical technique.

Effects of carbon on electrochemical performance of red phosphorus(P) and carbon composite as anode for sodium ion batteries

Red phosphorus/graphite(P/G) and red phosphorus/carbon nanotube(P/CNT) composites were prepared by ball milling red phosphorus with CNTs and graphite, respectively. The electrochemical results show superior electrochemical performances of the P/G and P/CNT composites compared with that of the reference sample milled with Super-P carbon. After 70 cycles, the P/G and P/CNT composites remained771.6 and 431.7 mA h g^(-1), with 68 % and 50 % capacity retention, respectively. With increasing the milling time(20 h), CNTs were cut into short pieces and then broken into carbon rings and sheets which were well mixed with red phosphorus. The morphology of the P/CNT composite can buffer the large volume changes from alloying and de-alloying during cycling, resulting in the enhanced cycling stability.

Virtual reality system for diagnosis and therapeutic planning of cerebral aneurysms

Background The virtual reality （VR） system can provide the neurosurgeon to intuitively interact with and manipulate the three dimensional （3-D） image similarly to manipulate a real *** was seldom reported that the system was used in diagnosis and treatment of cerebral *** study aimed to investigate the application of VR system in diagnosis and therapeutic planning of cerebral *** A total of 24 cases of cerebral aneurysms were enrolled in this study from 2006 to 2008, which diagnosed by 3-D digital subtraction angiography （3D-DSA） or VR-based computed tomography angiographies （CTA）.The VR system and 3D-DSA system were used to observe and measure aneurysms and the adjacent *** data of observation and measurements were compared between VR image and 3D-DSA *** the patients underwent surgical plan and simulated neurosurgical procedures in the VR *** There were 28 aneurysms detected in VR system and 3D-DSA *** VR system generated clear and vivid 3-D virtual images which clearly displayed the location and size of the aneurysms and their precise anatomical spatial relations to the parent arteries and *** location, size and shape of the aneurysms and their anatomical relationship with the adjacent vessels were similar between 3-D virtual image and 3D-DSA, but the spatial relationship between aneurysms and skull only been displayed by VR *** VR system also could simulate simple surgical procedures and surgical *** The VR system can provide a highly effective way to provide precise imaging details as same as 3D-DSA system and assist the diagnosis of cerebral aneurysms with virtual 3-D data based on *** significantly enhances the chosen therapeutic strategy of cerebral aneurysms.

Enhanced photocatalytic performance by regulating the Ce^(3+)/Ce^(4+)ratio in cerium dioxide

Cerium dioxide(CeO_(2))photocatalysts are used in treating environmental pollution and addressing the energy crisis due to their excellent oxygen storage capacities and abundant oxygen *** this paper,CeO_(2)precursors were synthesized with different water-alcohol ratios via a solvothermal method,and CeO_(2)photocatalysts with different Ce^(3+)/Ce^(4+)ratios were obtained by changing the precursor calcination atmospheres(air,Ar)as well as the calcination *** effects of CeO_(2)with different Ce^(3+)/Ce^(4+)ratios in photocatalytic degradations of methylene blue under visible light were investigated.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy results showed that the surfaces of the samples calcined under Ar had higher Ce^(3+)/Ce^(4+)ratios and oxygen vacancy concentrations,which reduced the band gaps of the catalysts and improved their utilization of visible *** addition,the many Ce^(3+)/Ce^(4+)redox centers and oxygen vacancies on the sample surfaces improved the separation and transfer efficiencies of the photogenerated *** sample C2-Ar calcined under Ar showed a high adsorption capacity and excellent photocatalytic activity by removing 96%of the methylene blue within 120 min,which was more than twice the degradation rate of the sample(C2-air)prepared via calcination under *** experiments showed that photogenerated holes played a key role in the photocatalytic *** addition,a synergistic photocatalytic mechanism for the Ce^(3+)/Ce^(4+)redox centers and oxygen vacancies was elucidated in detail,and the sensitization of cerium dioxide by dyes aided the degradation of methylene blue.

Deep learning for code generation: a survey

In the past decade, thanks to the powerfulness of deep-learning techniques, we have witnessed a whole new era of automated code generation. To sort out developments, we have conducted a comprehensive review of solutions to deep learning-based code generation. In this survey, we generally formalize the pipeline and procedure of code generation and categorize existing solutions according to taxonomy from perspectives of architecture, model-agnostic enhancing strategy, metrics, and tasks. In addition, we outline the challenges faced by current dominant large models and list several plausible directions for future research. We hope that this survey may provide handy guidance to understanding, utilizing, and developing deep learning-based code-generation techniques for researchers and practitioners.
