Development of metal-organic framework(MOF)films is of great importance to expand their ***,we report a facile and universal method of liquid-phase epitaxial(LPE)layer by layer(LBL)brushing approach for fabricating MOF films on various substrates in a high-throughput *** MOF films preparation method offers a great prospective to cost-effectively construct films with short preparation time and little reagent ***,this LBL brushing approach has been implemented successfully to assemble various MOF films,including HKUST-1,zeolitic imidazolate framework-8(ZIF-8),Cu(bdc),and Cu_(2)(L)_(2)P(L=bdc,ndc,and cam;P=dabco and bipy).Afterwards,the classic MOF HKUST-1 and ZIF-8 films were grown on sensor chip electrode and porous fiber support for good volatile organic compounds(VOCs)selective sensing and water purification *** study demonstrates that this LBL brushing preparation method can be employed to synthesize various MOF films with a variety of characteristics to realize their sensing and separation applications.

nifB-MoFe protein （nifB-Av1）, AnifE MoFe protein （△nifE Av1） and AnifZ MoFe protein （△nifZ Av1） were obtained by chromatography on DE52, Sephacryl S-300 and Q-Sepharose columns from nifB point-mutated, nifE deleted and nifZ deleted mutant stains （UW45, DJ35 and DJ194） of Azotobacter vinelandii Llpmann, respectively. When complemented with nltrogenase Fe protein （Av2）, AnifZ Av1 had partial activity and both nifB-Avl and △nifE Av1 had hardly any activity, but could be obviously activated by FeMoco extracted from wild-type MoFe protein （OP Av1） or △nifZ Av1. After being Incubated with excess O-phenanthrollne （O-phen） for 150 mln at 30 ℃ and subjected to chromatography on a Sephadex G-25 column In an Ar atmosphere, nifB- Av1C, △nifE Av1C and △nifZ Av1C were obtained, respectively. Based on a calculation of Fe atoms In the Ophen-Fe compound with ε 512nm = 11 100, lost Fe atoms of nifB-Av1, △nifE Av1 and △nifZ Av1 were estimated to be 1.35, 2.89 and 8.44 per molecule of protein, respectively. As a result of the Fe loss, △nifZ Av1 loses Its original activity. In the presence of both MgATP and Av2, these Fe-loslng proteins, but not the original proteins untreated with O-phen, could be significantly activated by reconstltuent solution （RS） composed of dlthlothreltol, ferric homocltrate, Na2S and Na2MoO4, or K2CrO4, or KMnO4. But In the absence of MgATP or Av2, the activation did not occur, with the exception that △nifZ AvlC was partially activated, and the activity was only 17%. These findings Indicate that：（I） △nifZ Avl with half P-cluster content Is somewhat different from FeMoco-deflclent nifB-Avl and ,△nifE Av1 with respect to protein conformation either before or after treatment with O-phen; （11） full activation of these proteins with RS requires pretreatment with O-phen and the simultaneous presence of MgATP and Av2.

The complex and dynamic vaginal microbial ecosystem is critical to both health and disease of the host. Studies focusing on how vaginal microbiota influences HIV-1 infection may face limitations in selecting proper animal models. Given that northern pig-tailed macaques （Macaca leonina） are susceptible to HIV-1 infection, they may be an optimal animal model for elucidating the mechanisms by which vaginal microbiota contributes to resistance and susceptibility to HIV-1 infection. However, little is known about the composition and temporal variability of vaginal microbiota of the northern pig-tailed macaque. Here, we present a comprehensive catalog of the composition and temporal dynamics of vaginal microbiota of two healthy northern pig-tailed macaques over 19 weeks using 454-pyrosequencing of 16S rRNA genes. We found remarkably high proportions of a diverse array of anaerobic bacteria associated with bacterial vaginosis. Atopobium and Sneathia were dominant genera, and interestingly, we demonstrated the presence of Lactobacillus-dominated vaginal microbiota. Moreover, longitudinal analysis demonstrated that the temporal dynamics of the vaginal microbiota were considerably individualized. Finally, network analysis revealed that vaginal pH may influence the temporal dynamics of the vaginal microbiota, suggesting that inter-subject variability of vaginal bacterial communities could be mirrored in inter-subject variation in correlation profiles of species with each other and with vaginal pH over time. Our results suggest that the northern pig-tailed macaque could be an ideal animal model for prospective investigation of the mechanisms by which vaginal microbiota influence susceptibility and resistance to HIV-1 infection in the context of highly polymicrobial and Lactobacillus-dominated states.

Highly specialized myrmecophagy(ant-and termite-eating) has independently evolved multiple times in species of various mammalian orders and represents a textbook example of phenotypic evolutionary convergence. We explored the mechanisms involved in this unique dietary adaptation and convergence through multi-omic analyses, including analyses of host genomes and transcriptomes, as well as gut metagenomes, in combination with validating assays of key enzymes’ activities, in the species of three mammalian orders(anteaters, echidnas and pangolins of the orders Xenarthra, Monotremata and Pholidota, respectively) and their relatives. We demonstrate the complex and diverse interactions between hosts and their symbiotic microbiota that have provided adaptive solutions for nutritional and detoxification challenges associated with high levels of protein and lipid metabolisms, trehalose degradation, and toxic substance detoxification. Interestingly, we also reveal their spatially complementary cooperation involved in degradation of ants’ and termites’ chitin exoskeletons. This study contributes new insights into the dietary evolution of mammals and the mechanisms involved in the coordination of physiological functions by animal hosts and their gut commensals.

ZnCdS quantum dots(QDs)are highly coveted in photocatalysis research for their exceptional visible-light responses and high light-absorption ***,their practical application is hindered by their tendency to aggregate,due to having high surface *** address this issue,herein,a heterostructure is synthesized by growing ZnCdS QDs with a size of approximately 5 nm onto the surface of a two-dimensional(2D)covalent organic framework(COF),*** approach suppresses the aggregation of the QDs and improves their *** ZnCdS/TpPa-1-COF composite exhibited a peak hydrogen evolution rate of 6244.16μmol·g^(-1)·h^(-1),which was 2.89 and 4.18 times greater than that of ZnCdS and TpPa-1-COF,*** zero-dimensional/two-dimensional(0D/2D)heterojunction formed by ZnCdS and TpPa-1-COF generates a strong interfacial force,which is attributed to the intimate contact between the *** connections accelerate charge separation,improve the utilisation of reduced electrons,and reduce the extent of agglomeration of the ZnCdS QDs,thereby resulting in high hydrogen production activity of the ***,the photocatalytic mechanism is studied using Kelvin probe force microscopy and theoretical *** study offers a novel approach for creating sulfide photocatalysts and is crucial for investigating the potential practical applications of the related photocatalysts.

Recent studies have shown that the construction of nanophononic metamaterials can reduce thermal conductivity without affecting electrical properties,making them promising in many fields of application,such as energy conversion and thermal ***,although extensive studies have been carried out on thermal conductivity reduction in nanophononic metamaterials,the local heat flux characteristic is still *** this work,we construct a heat flux regulator which includes a silicon nanofilm with silicon *** regulator has remarkable heat flux regulation ability,and various impacts on the regulation ability are ***,even in the region without nanopillars,the local heat current is still lower than that in pristine silicon nanofilms,reduced by the neighboring nanopillars through the thermal proximity *** combine the analysis of the phonon participation ratio with the intensity of localized phonon modes to provide a clear *** findings not only provide insights into the mechanisms of heat flux regulation by nanophononic metamaterials,but also will open up new research directions to control local heat flux for a broad range of applications,including heat management,thermoelectric energy conversion,thermal cloak,and thermal concentrator.
