Lithium-ion capacitors(LICs) of achieving high power and energy density have garnered significant attention. However, the kinetics unbalance between anode and cathode can impede the application of LICs. Vanadium nitride(VN) with a high theoretical specific capacity(~ 1200 m Ah·g^(-1)) is a better pseudocapacitive anode to match the response of cathode in LICs. However, the insertion/extraction of Li-ions in VN's operation results in significant volume expansion. Herein, the VN/N-r GO-5composite that three-dimentional(3D) dicyandiamidederived-carbon(DDC) tightly wrapped VN quantum dots(VN QDTs) on two-dimentional(2D) reduced graphene oxid(r GO) was prepared by a facile strategy. The VN QDTs can reduce ion diffusion length and improve charge transfer kinetics. The 2D r GO as a template provides support for nanoparticle dispersion and improves electrical conductivity. The 3D DDC tightly encapsulated with VN QDTs mitigates agglomeration of VN particles as well as volume expansion. Correspondingly, the LICs with VN/Nr GO-5 composite as anode and activated carbon(AC) as cathode were fabricated, which exhibits a high energy density and power density. Such strategy provides a perspective for improving the electrochemical properties of LIC anode materials by suppressing volume expansion and enhancing conductivity.

Electrochemical sensing provides a powerful technological means for the therapeutic drug monitoring of drug-resistant tuberculosis but requires a functionalized electrode to capture the analytes and catalyze their redox ***,we construct a nickel-tannic acid supramolecular network(Ni-TA)on the surface of electrospun-derived C-CeO_(2) nanofiber for the sensitive and simultaneous detection of isoniazid(INZ)and hydrazine(HYD).Mechanistic investigations demonstrate that Ni-TA is electronegative and hydrophilic,thus facilitating an efficient mass and electron ***-TA/C-CeO_(2) has higher adsorption rate constants(0.091 g mg^(-1)h^(-1)for INZ,and 0.062 g mg^(-1)h^(-1)for HYD)than native C-CeO_(2)(0.075 g mg^(-1)h^(-1)for INZ,and 0.047 g mg^(-1)h^(-1)for HYD).Moreover,Ni-TA/C-CeO_(2)(56Ω)has lower charge transfer resistances than C-CeO_(2)(417Ω).Ni-TA/C-CeO_(2) performs low detection limits and wide linearity ranges for INZ(0.012μmol/L and 0.1-400μmol/L,respectively)and HYD(0.008μmol/L and 0.015-1420μmol/L,respectively),coupled with high selectivity,cycle stability and *** research demonstrated the promising applications of Ni-TA/C-CeO_(2) by analyzing human-collected plasma and urine samples.

The cooling storage ring (CSR) external-target experiment (CEE) is a spectrometer used in construction to study the properties of nuclear matter in high-baryon density regions at the Heavy-Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou (HIRFL). This study presents the design, simulation, manufacturing, and testing of a half-size prototype of a multi-wire drift chamber (MWDC) for the CEE. First, the performance of the MWDC connected to homemade electronics was simulated. The results demonstrated that an energy resolution of 18.5% % for 5.9-keV X-rays and a position resolution of 194 mu m for protons can be achieved by the current design. Because the size of the largest MWDC reached 176 cm x 314 cm, a set of 98 cm x 98 cm prototypes was built using the new techniques. The positioning accuracy of the anode wires in this prototype is better than 20 mu m. After optimization, using commercially available electronics, the prototype can achieved an energy resolution of 19.7% % for a Fe-55 X-ray source. The CEE-MWDC detector and electronics were simultaneously tested. An energy resolution of 22% % was achieved for the Fe-55 source; the track residuals were approximately 330 mu m for the cosmic rays. The results demonstrate that the current design and techniques meet the requirements of the CEE-MWDC array.

AIM:To elucidate whether differences exist in the impact on retarding the elongation of axial length(AL)among children with myopia when utilizing orthokeratology(ortho-k)lenses employing the corneal refractive therapy(CRT)design versus those employing the vision shaping treatment(VST)***:This retrospective clinical trial aimed to collect and analyze AL data from individuals who wore ortho-k lenses for three years.A total of 654 subjects were enrolled and prescribed one of the three specific brands of ortho-k lenses:CRT,Euclid,and *** study’s primary focus was to compare the rates of AL elongation and myopic progression across these three brands of ortho-k ***:In the 3-year follow-up,the AL elongation exhibited variations of 0.73±0.36 mm in the CRT lens group,0.59±0.37 mm in the Euclid lens group,and 0.63±0.38 mm in the Mouldway lens group.A noteworthy disparity emerged between the CRT and Mouldway groups(P<0.01),as well as between the CRT and Euclid groups(P<0.001).Additionally,it was observed that 32.1%of participants who wore CRT lenses experienced a decelerated progression of myopia,in contrast to 47.2%in the Euclid group and 44.4%in the Mouldway *** analyses revealed a statistically significant distinction between the CRT and Euclid groups(P<0.01),and similarly,the CRT group demonstrated a statistically significant difference when compared to the Mouldway group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION:Ortho-k lenses represent a pragmatic strategy for mitigating the advancement of *** contradistinction to ortho-k lenses utilizing the CRT design,those employing the VST design exhibited a more favorable impact regarding retarding AL elongation.
