To prevent and treat Parkinson＇s disease in its early stages,it is essential to be able to detect the degree of early dopaminergic neuron *** transporters（DAT） in the striatum regulate synaptic dopamine levels,and striatal ^99mTc-TRODAT-1 single-photon emission computed tomography（-SPECT） imaging is a marker for presynaptic neuronal ***,the association between the degree of dopaminergic degeneration and in vivo ^99mTc-TRODAT-1 SPECT imaging is ***,this study investigated the association between the degree of 6-hydroxydopamine（6-OHDA）-induced dopaminergic degeneration and DAT imaging using^99mTc-TRODAT-1 SPECT in *** degrees of nigrostriatal dopamine depletion were generated by injecting different doses of 6-OHDA（2,4,and 8 μg） into the right medial forebrain *** degree of nigrostriatal dopaminergic neuron degeneration was assessed by rotational behavior and immunohistochemical *** results showed that striatal ^99mTc-TRODAT-1 binding was significantly diminished both in the ipsilateral and the contralateral sides in the 4 and 8 μg 6-OHDA groups,and that DAT ^99mTc-TRODAT-1 binding in the ipsilateral striatum showed a high correlation to apomorphine-induced rotations at 8 weeks post-lesion（r = –0.887,P 〈 0.01）.There were significant correlations between DAT ^99mTc-TRODAT-1 binding in the ipsilateral striatum and the amount of tyrosine hydroxylase immunoreactive neurons in the ipsilateral substantia nigra in the 2,4,and 8 μg 6-OHDA groups at 8 weeks post-lesion（r = 0.899,P 〈 0.01）.These findings indicate that striatal DAT imaging using ^99mTc-TRODAT-1 is a useful technique for evaluating the severity of dopaminergic degeneration.

A number of paddy fields pertaining to the Majiabang Cultures (5500-3800 years BC) were discovered during the archaeological excavations that were carried out since 1998 at the Chuodun site in the Yangtze River Delta. The pollen and phytolith analyses of two soil profiles from the northeastern part of this site were carried out to trace the agricultural practices of the Neolithic period. The phytolith results showed that rice domestication in the Yangtze River Delta could be traced back to as early as the Majiabang Culture. The pollen assemblage also revealed low levels of aquatic species, similar to that in modern paddy fields. This finding suggested that humans might have removed weeds for rice cultivation during the Neolithic period. Thus, pollen analysis in association with phytolith analysis was a promising method for identifying ancient paddy fields.

Fankl is exclusively expressed in the testis from the meiosis phase to the haploid phase of spermatogenesis. In this study, we examined the function of Fankl by establishing a Fankl-knockdown transgenic mouse model. The apoptotic statuses of the testes of the transgenic mice were tested using the terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase dUTP nick end labeling （TUNEL） method. The FANK1 consensus DNA-binding sequence was identified using cyclic amplification of sequence target （CAST） analysis. Differentially expressed genes were examined using microarray analysis. A reduction in sperm number and an increase in apoptotic spermatocytes were observed in Fankl-knockdown mice, and the apoptotic cells were found to be primarily spermatogonia and spermatocytes. The CAST results demonstrated that the consensus DNA-binding sequence was AAAAAG, in which the percentage occurrence of each base at each position ranged from 55 to 86%. This sequence was present in the promoter regions of 10 differentially expressed genes that were examined using microarray analysis. In total, 17 genes were differentially expressed with changes in their expression levels greater than twofold. The abnormal expression of Fankl target genes that were regulated directly or indirectly by Fankl reduced the number of sperm in the knockdown mice. Effects of Beclin 1 overexpression on aggressive phenotypes of colon cancer cells

＜正＞Ras and Notch signaling have recently been shown to cooperate in the maintenance of neoplatic transformation. To investigate the interaction between Notch and Ras/MAPK pathways and its potential mechanisms in human glioma cell line U251,we treated cells with DAPT（aγ-secretase inhibitor） to block Notch activity,TGF-a（a ERK agonist） to activate Ras signaling and PD98059（a specific inhibitor of MEK1/2） to reduce phosphoration of ERK separately or simultaneously. It was showed that DAPT inhibited U251 cell proliferation whereas TGF-αstimulated cell proliferation in a time- and dose-dependent *** expression of Notch pathway signaling molecules Notch 1,RBP-Jκand Hes1 was down-regulated in the level of mRNA and protein after 24 h DAPT ***-αtransiently increased phosphoration level of ERK 1/2 and up-regulated the mRNA and protein expression of Hes1,which is a primary Notch target gene,but no change was observed on upstream components Notch 1 and ***98059 was added 2 h prior to treatment could inhibit ERK 1/2 phosphoration activated by TGF-α,but it did not affect the Notch 1,RBP-Jk and *** together,these results suggest that DAPT effectively blocked Notch signaling transduction and inhibited proliferation of U251 ***-αtransiently promoted ERK 1/2 phosphoration and stimulated U251 cells proliferation in a longer ***-αinduced the Notch target gene Hes 1 expression was independent on both Notch and ERK activation.

探究了不同加油、加盐量的煮制方法对菠菜感官接受度和Vc保存率的影响。采用质构仪和感官评价法分别测量样品的质构硬度和感官接受性。以质构硬度作为自变量,感官硬度作为因变量进行逐步回归分析,得到具有统计显著性的预测公式。结果表明影响硬度的主要因素是烹调时间,其次是添加油量,而加盐量的影响较小。添加盐对Vc保存率有不利影响。烹煮2min、盐量0.5%、油量2.5%时,感官接受度最佳,Vc保存率高达81.5%。

Multiphysics simulation and optimization of the in-situ beneficiation process of ilmenite minerals from lunar regolith

The exploration and utilization of lunar resources have become the major objectives of future lunar exploration missions. The classified collection and processing of lunar minerals is the basic prerequisite for the in-situ exploration and utilization of lunar resources. In this study, we propose a scheme for in-situ separation of magnetic minerals from lunar soils using the dry magnetic separation method. The scheme can realize the purpose of separating magnetic minerals from lunar regolith by altering the motion trajectory of lunar regolith particles with different magnetic properties. Detailed modeling of the dry magnetic separation device is conducted, and the three-dimensional distribution of magnetic parameters is calculated and analyzed. Based on the characterization and analysis of the Chang E-5's samples, the morphologies and physical parameters of lunar regolith particles are modeled and simulated. A discrete element simulation of the motion process of lunar regolith particles under multi-physical field conditions is performed, and the influences of key parameters on the beneficiation performance of lunar magnetic minerals are investigated. Our results indicate that optimal separation and beneficiation of lunar regolith particles can be achieved under specific conditions of magnetic field strength and drum speed. Additionally, we analyze the effects of lunar weak gravity conditions and the charged nature of lunar particles on the beneficiation process, showing that these factors can obviously enhance the beneficiation process of lunar ilmenites. This study demonstrates the feasibility of using the dry magnetic separation method for the beneficiation of magnetic minerals from lunar regolith, providing a theoretical basis for the scientific tasks of collecting, processing, and utilizing lunar mineral resources.

Several studies have shown that activation of unfolded protein response and endoplasmic reticulum(ER)stress plays a crucial role in severe cerebral ischemia/reperfusion *** occurs within hours after cerebral ischemia,but the relationship between ER stress and autophagy remains *** this study,we established experimental models using oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation in PC12 cells and primary neurons to simulate cerebral ischemia/reperfusion *** found that prolongation of oxygen-glucose deprivation activated the ER stress pathway protein kinase-like endoplasmic reticulum kinase(PERK)/eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2 subunit alpha(e IF2α)-activating transcription factor 4(ATF4)-C/EBP homologous protein(CHOP),increased neuronal apoptosis,and induced ***,inhibition of ER stress using inhibitors or by si RNA knockdown of the PERK gene significantly attenuated excessive autophagy and neuronal apoptosis,indicating an interaction between autophagy and ER stress and suggesting PERK as an essential target for regulating *** autophagy with chloroquine exacerbated ER stress-induced apoptosis,indicating that normal levels of autophagy play a protective role in neuronal injury following cerebral ischemia/reperfusion *** from this study indicate that cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury can trigger neuronal ER stress and promote autophagy,and suggest that PERK is a possible target for inhibiting excessive autophagy in cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury.
