Research status of inclusions in bearing steel and discussion on non-alloy deoxidation process

Non-metallic inclusion in steel is a very key factor affecting the fatigue life and quality stability of high-quality bearing steel.Inclusions mainly affect the fatigue life and toughness of the material by affecting the continuity of the steel matrix,thereby endangering the safety and stability of the equipment.The research progress of inclusion formation,removal and modification was discussed.Based on the current research status of Al deoxidation or Si deoxidation process,the feasibility of non-alloy deoxidation process for high-quality bearing steel was proposed and discussed.C or H_(2) is used as non-alloy deoxidizer,and the deoxidation products are CO and H_(2)O gases,which are easy to be removed from the molten steel.There are few studies on the non-alloy deoxidation process,especially the research and application of C or H_(2) deoxidation for high-quality bearing steel.However,the non-alloy deoxidation process is of great significance for reducing oxygen content and improving cleanliness of high-quality bearing steel.Therefore,it is necessary to study the mechanism and kinetics of C and H_(2) deoxidation and analyze the factors affecting deoxidation effect systematically,so as to provide a solid theoretical basis for the practice of non-alloy deoxidation process for high-quality bearing steel.

Recent Advances in the Rapid Detection and Performance Evaluation Methods of Detergent Additives for Gasoline

Although detergent additives for gasoline have been widely commercialized,their formulas are often kept confidential and there is still no standardized method for quickly detecting the main active ingredients and evaluating their effectiveness,which makes their regulation difficult.An overview of the current state of the development and application of detergent additives for gasoline in China and other regions,as well as a review of the rapid detection and performance evaluation methods available for analyzing detergent additives are given herein.The review focuses on the convenience,cost,efficiency,and feasibility of on-site detection and the evaluation of various methods,and also looks into future research directions,such as detecting and evaluating detergent additives in ethanol gasoline and with advanced engine technologies.

Strengthening absorption ability of Co-N-C as efficient bifunctional oxygen catalyst by modulating the d band center using MoC

Co-N-C is a promising oxygen electrochemical catalyst due to its high stability and good durability.However,due to the limited adsorption ability improvement for oxygen-containing intermediates,it usually exhibits inadequate catalytic activity with 2-electron pathway and high selectivity of hydrogen peroxide.Herein,the adsorption of Co-N-C to these intermediates is modulated by constructing heterostructures using transition metals and their derivatives based on d-band theory.The heterostructured nanobelts with MoC core and pomegranate-like carbon shell consisting of Co nanoparticles and N dopant(MoC/Co-N-C)are engineered to successfully modulate the d band center of active Co-N-C sites,resulting in a remarkably enhanced electrocatalysis performance.The optimally performing MoC/Co-N-C exhibits outstanding bi-catalytic activity and stability for the oxygen electrochemistry,featuring a high wave-half potential of 0.865 V for the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and low overpotential of 370 mV for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)at 10 mA cm^(-2).The zinc air batteries with the MoC/Co-N-C catalyst demonstrate a large power density of 180 mW cm^(-2)and a long cycling lifespan(2000 cycles).The density functional theory calculations with Hubbard correction(DFT+U)reveal the electron transferring from Co to Mo atoms that effectively modulate the d band center of the active Co sites and achieve optimum adsorption ability with"single site double adsorption"mode.

Metal/covalent organic frameworks for aqueous rechargeable zinc-ion batteries

Lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)have become one of the most successful energy storage systems due to their high operating voltage,high energy density,and long cycle life.However,with the widespread use of LIBs in recent decades,lithium resources are at risk of being exhausted.Therefore,it is necessary to find a substitute for LIBs to meet the needs of future large-scale energy storage systems.Because of their competitiveness,low cost,and high safety,aqueous rechargeable zinc-ion batteries(ARZIBs)are regarded as promising components in the post-lithium-ion-battery era.Given the tunable composition,ordered porous channels,and controllable structure of metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)and covalent organic frameworks(COFs),these frameworks are viewed as potential materials for developing high-performance ARZIBs.In this review,we focus on the recent developments in the applications of MOF-/COF-based materials in ARZIBs,including in electrode materials,anode modifications,separators,and solid electrolytes.We then focus on the critical factors and optimization techniques of MOF-/COF-based materials that affect the performance of ARZIBs.Finally,we conclude with some projections for the expansion of ARZIBs containing MOF-/COF-based materials.

Multispectral ErBO_(3)@ATO porous composite microspheres with laser and electromagnetic wave compatible absorption

The high-speed advances in electromagnetic(EM)wave and laser detection technology have accelerated the innovation of absorbing materials toward specific multi-band compatibility.It is difficult to achieve dual absorption of EM waves and near-infrared lasers by absorbing materials in a single frequency band;the design of high-performance laser-EM wave multi-band compatible absorbing materials is imminent.Herein,ErBO_(3)@ATO(erbium borate/antimony-doped tin oxide)porous composite microspheres with an average size of 15-20μm are produced solvothermal method and self-assembly,which exhibit excellent laser-EM wave compatible absorption.The porous structure on the surface of ErBO_(3)microspheres provides heterogeneous nucleation sites for ATO particle deposition.The minimum reflectivity of the composite for1.06 and 1.54μm lasers is 9.59%and 4.79%,which is0.57%and 3.78%lower than those of pure ATO particles,respectively.The composites containing 70 wt%porous ErBO_(3)@ATO reveal the minimum reflection loss(RL)value of-31.6 dB,and an effective absorption band width reaches 2.08 GHz at 2.5 mm thickness.The mechanism of near-infrared laser and EM wave compatible absorption is the synergistic effect of the energy level transition of ErBO_(3)and the dielectric loss of ATO,coupled with the large surface area and porous structure of the micro spheres.Therefore,the designed porous ErBO_(3)@ATO composite microspheres can be an attractive choice for lasers and EM wave high-quality compatible absorption.

MMP14 is a diagnostic gene of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma associated with immune cell infiltration

BACKGROUND Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma(ICC)is a malignant tumor of the hepatobiliary system with concealed onset,strong invasiveness and poor prognosis.AIM To explore the disease characteristic genes that may be helpful in the diagnosis of ICC and affect immune cell infiltration.METHODS We downloaded two ICC-related human gene expression profiles from GEO database as the training group(GSE26566 and GSE32958 datasets)for difference analysis,and performed enrichment analysis on differential genes.The least absolute shrinkage and selection operator(LASSO),support vector machinerecursive feature elimination(SVM-RFE)and random forest(RF),three machine learning algorithms,were used to screen the characteristic genes.Double verification was carried out on GSE107943 and The Cancer Genome Atlas,two verification groups.Receiver operating characteristic curve and area under the curve(AUC)were used to evaluate the diagnostic efficacy of genes for ICC.CIBERSORT and ssGSEA algorithms were used to evaluate the effect of characteristic genes on immune infiltration pattern.Human Protein Atlas(HPA)was used to analyze the protein expression level of the target gene.RESULTS A total of 1091 differential genes were obtained in the training group.Enrichment analysis showed that the above genes were mainly enriched in small molecular catabolism,complement and coagulation cascade,bile secretion and other functions and pathways.Twentyfive characteristic genes were screened by LASSO regression,19 by SVM-RFE algorithm,and 30 by RF algorithm.Three algorithms were used in combination to determine the characteristic gene of ICC:MMP14.The verification group confirmed that the genes had a high diagnostic accuracy(AUC values of the training group and the verification group were 0.960,0.999,and 0.977,respectively).Comprehensive analysis of immune infiltration showed that MMP14 could affect the infiltration of monocytes,activated memory CD4 T cells,resting memory CD4 T cells,and other immune cells,and was closely related to the expression of CD

Association between 5α-reductase inhibitors therapy and incidence, cancer-specific mortality,and progression of prostate cancer: evidence from a meta-analysis

5a-reductase inhibitors(5-ARI)are widely employed for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia.It has been noted that 5-ARI exhibit the potential to attenuate the risk of prostate cancer,but consistent agreement has not been achieved.Moreover,the effect of 5-ARI on cancer-specific mortality and progression of prostate cancer remains unclear.Therefore,the goal of the current meta-analysis was to elucidate the impact of 5-ARI on the incidence and progression of prostate cancer.We searched for all studies assessing the effect of 5-ARI on risk of prostate cancer in PubMed,Embase,Medline,and Cochrane Library databases.Pooled relative risk(RR)and corresponding 95%confidence intervals(CIs)were accepted to evaluate the association between 5-ARI and the risk of prostate cancer.Synthetic results implied that subjects who accepted 5-ARI compared with the placebo group experienced a distinctly weakened overall incidence of prostate cancer(RR=0.74;95%C l:0.66-0.82;P7;RR=1.19;95%Cl:0.98-1.43;P=0.069).The results also showed that 5-ARI treatment did not significantly alter prostate cancer-specific mortality(RR=1.0;95%C l:0.95-1.05;P=0.916).In addition,it was worth noting that 5-ARI treatment acted in a protective role that presented a dramatic benefit to delay the progression of low-risk tumors(RR=0.58;95%C l:0.43-0.78;P<0.001).

Delayed diagnosis of abdominal Henoch-Schonlein purpura in children:A case report

BACKGROUND For children with abdominal Henoch-Schonlein purpura presenting abdominal pain as an initial symptom and severe clinical manifestations,but without purpura appearance on the skin,the diagnosis and treatment are relatively difficult.This study summarized the characteristics of this group of patients by literature review and provided additional references for further refinement of glucocorticoid therapy in this vasculitis.CASE SUMMARY A 6-year-old girl presented mainly with repeated abdominal pain and had received short-term out-of-hospital treatment with hydrocortisone.On day 7 after onset,gastroscopy revealed chronic non-atrophic gastritis and erosive duodenitis without purpuric rash,and no obvious resolution of the abdominal pain was found after treatment against infection and for protection of gastric mucosa.On day 14 the inflammatory indices continued to rise and the pain was relieved after enhanced anti-infective therapy,but without complete resolution.On day 19,the patient presented with aggravated abdominal pain with purplish-red dots on the lower limbs,by which Henoch-Schonlein purpura was confirmed.After 5 d of sequential treatment with methylprednisolone and prednisone,abdominal pain disappeared and she was discharged.CONCLUSION Henoch-Schonlein purpura-related rash may appear after long-term abdominal pain,and should be distinguished from acute and chronic gastrointestinal diseases at the early stage without typical rash.For bacterial infection-induced Henoch-Schonlein purpura,glucocorticoid therapy alone without clearing the infection may not relieve symptoms.

Control of nitrogen oxides emission by selective non-catalytic reduction in preheating section during iron ore pellets production

Reducing the NO_(x) emission from pelletizing process is of great importance to the green development of iron and steel industry.The flue gas temperature of preheating(PH)section during grate-kiln iron ore pelletizing process typically ranges within 850–1050℃,which meets the temperature requirements of selective non-catalytic reduction(SNCR)for NO_(x).The in-bed SNCR behavior of NO_(x) in the PH section was investigated,and the influence of relevant parameters was revealed.Results show that with the flue gas temperature rising,the denitration rate reached a peak value and then declined,where the appropriate temperature range was 950–1000℃.Increasing the NH_(3)/NO ratio(NSR)contributed to improving the denitration rate,and the appropriate NSR was 1.0.Oxygen content in the flue gas also showed an important influence on denitration rate,which reached a peak value and then dropped with the oxygen content rising.Under the condition of 18 vol.%oxygen content,the denitration reaction mainly occurred in the form of 4NO+4NH_(3)+O_(2)=4N_(2)+6H_(2)O.For restricting the competitive reaction of NH_(3) oxidation,the oxygen content in flue gas of PH section should be kept at an appropriate range.In general,the denitration rate reached about 25%in the PH section through spraying ammonia.
