Substantial progress has been made in China in using traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)to treat acquired immune deficiency syndrome(AIDS).Our objective was to review the latest developments in TCM treatment of AIDS in China between 2004 and *** reviewed the content of original articles investigating the efficacy and safety of TCM for treating AIDS published in Chinese and English language *** references from 2004 to 2014 were found using PubMed and the China National Knowledge Infrastructure *** found that TCM has been widely used for treating AIDS and its complications in *** number of TCM studies has increased,which indicates efficacy and *** of efficacy in the reviewed articles included the alleviation of human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)-related signs and symptoms,improvements in quality of life,improvements in long-term survival,counteraction of the adverse side effects of antiviral drugs,promotion of immune reconstitution,and improvement of laboratory *** sum,the literature indicates that TCM is *** plays an important role in the treatment of *** studies have attempted to measure the efficacy and safety of TCM for treating AIDS,but more evidence is ***,more research on this topic is required in the future.

Deciphering the molecular mechanisms of Simiaowan in the treatment of hyperuricemia: in vivo and in silico approaches

Background:Simiaowan(SMW),a well-known traditional Chinese medicine,has been employed to treat hyperuricemia(HUA)and gout for ***,the bioactive components and underlying mechanisms have not been *** objective of this study was to identify the active components and potential mechanisms of SMW by integrating pharmacological experimentation,serum pharmacochemistry,network pharmacology and molecular ***:HUA rats modelling by high-fat/high-sugar diet and potassium oxonate/adenine oral administration were used to evaluate the pharmacodynamic effects of ***-Q-Exactive-MS/MS was employed to detect the bioactive components present in SMW-containing *** pharmacology and molecular docking were utilized to elucidate the potential targets and underlying ***:SMW effectively ameliorated HUA rats via the inhibition of uric acid(UA)production,promotion of UA excretion,improvement of lipid and glucose metabolic abnormalities,antioxidant,anti-inflammatory and anti-insulin resistance effects.A total of 73 compounds detected in SMW-containing serum were identified as potential active components,with alkaloids,flavonoids,organic acids,and terpenoids emerging as the primary active *** 203 corresponding targets were obtained as SMW anti-HUA/gout targets,which mainly participated in apoptosis,insulin resistance,TNF,PI3K-Akt,HIF-1,NF-κB,MAPK,IL-17 and TLR signaling *** docking indicated that active compounds(***,phellodendrine,quercetin,formononetin,ferulic acid)had superior binding abilities to the key targets(*** carrier family 22 member 12(URAT1),solute carrier family 22 member 6(OAT1),ATP-binding cassette sub-family G member 2(ABCG2),solute carrier family 2,facilitated glucose transporter member 9(GLUT9),xanthine dehydrogenase/oxidase(XDH),transcription factor p65(RELA),toll-like receptor 4(TLR4),prostaglandin G/H synthase 2(PTGS2),caspase-3(CASP3),insulin(INS)).Conclusion:S

Carbon Balance in an Alpine Steppe in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau

Carbon fluxes were measured using a static chamber technique in an alpine steppe in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau from July 2000 to July 2001. It was shown that carbon emissions decreased in autumn and increased in spring of the next year, with higher values in growth seasons than in winters. An exponential correlation （Ecarbon = 0.22（exp（0.09T）＋ In（0.31P ＋ 1））, R^2 = 0.77, P 〈 0.001） was shown between carbon emissions and environmental factors such as temperature （T） and precipitation （P）. Using the daily temperature （T） and total precipitation （R）, annual carbon emission from soil to the atmosphere was estimated to be 79.6 g C/m^2, 46% of which was emitted by microbial respiration. Considering an average net primary production of 92.5 g C/m^2 per year within the 2 year experiment, alpine steppes can take up 55.9 g CO2-C/m^2 per year. This indicates that alpine steppes are a distinct carbon sink, although this carbon reservoir was quite small.

On the Red Edge of the δ Scuti Instability Strip

The δ Scuti star catalogue is used to derive the observational locations of such stars on the HR diagram. The theoretical and observational instability strips are compared to check the theoretical red edge obtained by considering nonlocal time-dependent convection theory. The observational instability strip almost overlaps with the theoretical one, but the observed blue and red envelopes are hotter than the theoretical edges. The distribution of δ Scuti stars in the pulsation strip is not uniform.

The influence of combined total ionization dose(TID)and radiated electromagnetic interference(EMI)in a commercial analog-to-digital converter(ADC)was *** degradation of the direct-current response,the static parameters,and the dynamic parameters caused by the TID and EMI separately and synergistically is *** experimental results demonstrate that the increase in TID intensifies data error and the signal-tonoise ratio(SNR)degradation caused by radiated *** cumulative distribution function of EMI failure with respect to data error and SNR with different TIDs was *** decreasing trend of the threshold was acquired with a small sample size of five for each TID *** result indicates that the ADC is more sensitive in a compound radiation environment.

面对洪灾威胁,采取有效的防灾减灾行为能够保障农户的生命财产安全,政府培训是促进农户主动采取防灾减灾行为的重要举措。该研究以四川省洪灾风险区540户农户为调查对象,实证检验了政府培训、培训广度对农户采取防灾减灾行为的影响以及农户防灾减灾意愿的中介效应。结果表明,随着农户参与政府培训以及培训广度的增加,其越有可能采取防灾减灾行为,政府培训及培训广度每增加一个单位,农户采取防灾减灾行为的可能性相应增加10.68%和4.19%。农户拥有谋生技能状况和受灾经历会对其采取防灾减灾行为造成正向显著影响。农户防灾减灾意愿在政府培训、培训广度影响农户采取防灾减灾行为方面发挥了中介效应,中介效应占比分别为15.17%和12.29%。

Effects of pressure and plastic addition on sticking of fine iron ore particles in fluidized bed reduction

The adhesion of fine iron ore particles during fluidized bed reduction was studied using pressurized visible fluidized bed laboratory *** results showed that the optimal operating parameters for pure hydrogen reduction under high pressure were reduction temperature of 1073 K,particle size of 0.18-0.66 mm,pure H_(2) linear velocity of 0.8 m/s,reduction pressure of 200 kPa,and reduction time of 50 *** plastic particles were mixed into the fluidized bed,the optimal parameters were reduction temperature of 973 K,particle size of 0.18-0.66 mm,pure H_(2) linear velocity of 0.8 m/s,reduction pressure of 100 kPa,mass content of plastic particles of 8%,and reduction time of 65 *** chemical reaction resistance is much higher than the inner diffusion resistance at the initial stage of the reaction,whereas,in later stage,the inner diffusion resistance exceeds the chemical reaction *** contact area of iron atoms or iron whiskers gradually decreases with the increase in reduction pressure from 0.20 to 0.45 MPa,and the sticking trend gradually *** plastic particles in the fluidized reduction process of fine iron ore can effectively inhibit the adhesion among fine iron ore particles.

The autoionization distribution of the triply excited double Rydberg states(TEDRS)5d5/2NLnl(N≤22;n≤50;L,l<4)of La has been investigated by using five-laser resonance excitation in combination with a method of sequential ionization by a pulsed electric field and a constant electric *** experimental results exhibit that the La atoms in TEDRS predominantly single-autoionize to the ionic Rydberg states located in a few Rydberg ***,a difference of autoionization mechanisms between TEDRS above and those below the double ionization threshold is found.

Synthesis,Characterization and Antibacterial Activity of New 5-Aryl Pyrazole Oxime Ester Derivatives

Eleven new 1-{5-[4-（benzyloxy）phenyl]-3-methyl-4,5-dihydropyrazol-l-yl} oxime ester dcrivatives were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, HRMS, ^1H NMR data. All the compounds were screened for their antibacterial potential in vitro against Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The results indicate that compounds 8c and 8f possess potent activity with the minimum inhibitory concentrations（MIC） of 1.562--3.125 ug/mL against all the four bacteria. Compounds 8c, 8e and 8f show moderate inhibition against the DNA gyrase（IC50=1.9--2.5 ug/mL）. On the basis of the biological activities, structure-activity relationship was discussed.
