Atorvastatin, etanercept and the nephrogenic cardiac sympathetic remodeling in chronic renal failure rats

BACKGROUND Chronic renal failure(CRF) patients are predisposed to arrhythmias, while the detailed mechanisms are unclear. We hypothesized the chronic inflammatory state of CRF patients may lead to cardiac sympathetic remodeling, increasing the incidence of ventricular arrhythmia(VA) and sudden cardiac death. And explored the role of atorvastatin and etanercept in this *** A total of 48 rats were randomly divided into sham operation group(Sham group), CRF group, CRF + atorvastatin group(CRF + statin group), and CRF + etanercept group(CRF + rhTNFR-Fcgroup). Sympathetic nerve remodeling was assessed by immunofluorescence of growth-associated protein 43(GAP-43) and tyrosine hydroxylase positive area fraction. Electrophysiological testing was performed to assess the incidence of VA by assessing the ventricular effective refractory period and ventricular fibrillation threshold. The levels of tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α) and interleukin-1beta were determined by Western blotting and enzyme-linked immunosorbent *** Echocardiogram showed that compared with the Sham group, left ventricular end-systolic diameter and ventricular weight/body weight ratio were significantly higher in the CRF group. Hematoxylin-eosin and Masson staining indicated that myocardial fibers were broken, disordered, and fibrotic in the CRF group. Western blotting, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,immunofluorescence and electrophysiological examination suggested that compared with the Sham group, GAP-43 and TNF-α proteins were significantly upregulated, GAP-43 and tyrosine hydroxylase positive nerve fiber area was increased, and ventricular fibrillation threshold was significantly decreased in the CRF group. In recent years, the demand direction for electronic equipment has expanded into embedded and miniaturized devices. The heat radiation problem has become one of the most significant factors for hindering the development of electronic devices. Since heat radiation material is one of the important components in electronic devices, the demand for enhancing thermal conductivity is also increasingly urgent. Research on thermal conductive polymer composites has become a major direction for developing functional composites. This work reviewed the recent progress in the fabrication of thermal conductive polymer composites. Five different structures are presented, including the using of single fillers,hybrid fillers, double threshold percolation structure, segregated structure and other complex multiphase structures. Specifically, the preparation of high-performance thermal conductive polymer composites was introduced through the combination of various thermal conductive ***, the development direction of high thermal conductive polymer composites was briefly explored.

KLF4 Inhibits the Activation of Human Hepatic Stellate Cell In Vitro

Objective Hepatic stellate cells(HSCs)play a crucial role in liver ***-stage liver fibrosis is reversible and intimately associated with the state of ***-like factor 4(KLF4)plays a pivotal role in a wide array of physiological and pathological *** study aimed to investigate the effect of KLF4 on the proliferation,apoptosis and phenotype of quiescent HSCs Methods We designed a KLF4 lentiviral vector and a KLF4 siRNA lentiviral vector,to upregulate and silence KLF4 expression in human HSC LX-2 cells via *** proliferation was assessed using the CCK-8 *** cytometry was used to detect the cell cycle distribution and apoptosis *** blotting was used to determine the levels of some quiescence and activation markers of HSCs Results Overexpression of KLF4 significantly increased the levels of E-cadherin and ZO-1,which are quiescent HSC markers,while significantly decreased the levels of N-cadherin and a-SMA,known activated HSC *** contrast,cell proliferation and apoptosis rates were elevated in LX-2 cells in which KLF4 expression was silenced Conclusion KLF4 inhibits the proliferation and activation of human LX-2 *** might be a key regulatory protein in the maintenance of HSC quiescence and may serve as a target for the inhibition of hepatic fibrosis.

Autonomous indoor humidity control is gaining more and more attention but is limited by the trade-offs among pore volume,pore size and water stability of water *** solve this problem by using a unique coordination network topology combined with hydrolytically stable M(Ⅲ)carboxylate *** extending the ligand length from 9.0 to 11.2 and 13.7?,the pore volume significantly increases from 0.99 to 1.40 and 1.78 cm^(3)g^(-1),which proportionally increases the saturated water adsorption ***,the pore size slightly increases from 10.4 to 11.0 and 13.5A,which restricts the isotherm inflection pressure and hysteresis width to meet the requirement of indoor humidity *** single-crystals suitable for Xray diffraction studies were obtained by using Fe(Ⅲ)salts,while isostructural frameworks with sufficiently high water stabilities were synthesized by using Cr(Ⅲ)salts,which offer record working capacity of 0.90 and 1.10 g g^(-1)for indoor humidity control.

The availability of lithium resources is of great significance for the development of modern technologies,as well as for civil and military *** Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is a region known for its abundance of lithium-rich salt ***,the specific origin of lithium in these lakes is still unknown,which hinders the advancement of the lithium resource business in this *** research this issue,this study involved the collection of 20 samples from Lakkor Co Salt Lake on Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,encompassing samples of surface brine,cold springs,fresh lakes,and recharge *** composition of anions and cations in these samples was ***,the analysis extensivelyutilizedthePiperthree-linediagram,Gibbs model,and ion proportion *** findings of this study indicate that as the moves from the recharge water system to salt lake,there is a transition in water type from strong carbonate to moderate carbonate and weak carbonate,as well as Na *** research based on a similar source of both lithium and boron,utilized ion correlation analysis and boron isotope study in the Lakkor Co area,and analyzed the source and transporting process of *** main origin of lithium in Lakkor Co is the dissolution of lithiumrich rocks,recharge water systems,and deep hydrothermal *** findings are highly significant in enhancing the foundational data of lithium-rich brine resources in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and are beneficial for assessing the future development of such deposits.

The receiver is a signal receiving device placed at the focus of the *** order to improve the observation efficiency,the concept of phased array receiver has been proposed in recent years,which places a small phased array at the focal plane of the reflector,and flexible pattern and beam scanning functions can be achieved through a beamforming *** combined with the element multiplexing,all beams within the entire field of view can be observed simultaneously to achieve continuous sky *** article focuses on the front-end array of phased array receiver at 0.7-1.8 GHz for QiTai Telescope,and designs a Vivaldi antenna array of PCB structure with dual line *** polarization antenna is designed to arrange in a rectangle manner by 11×*** on the simulation results of the focal field,32,18,and eight elements were selected to form one beam at 0.7,1.25,and1.8 *** analog beamforming network was constructed,and the measured gains of axial beam under uniform weighting were 19.32,13.72,and 15.22 *** the beam scanning method of reflector antenna,the pattern test of different position element sets required for PAF beam scanning was carried out under independent *** pattern optimization at 1.25 GHz was carried out by weighting method of conjugate field *** with uniform weighting,the gain,sidelobe level,and main beam direction under conjugate field matching have been *** the above test and simulation results are slightly different,which is related to the passive array and laboratory testing condition,the relevant work has accumulated experience in the development of the front-end array for the phased array receiver,and has good guiding significance for future performance verification after the array is installed on the telescope.

Mechanical property of cylindrical sandwich shell with gradient core of entangled wire mesh

To explore the wide-frequency damping and vibration-attenuation performances in the application of aerospace components,the cylindrical sandwich shell structure with a gradient core of entangled wire mesh was proposed in this ***,the gradient cores of entangled wire mesh in the axial and radial directions were prepared by using an in-house Numerical Control weaving machine,and the metallurgical connection between skin sheets and the gradient core was performed using vacuum ***,to investigate the mechanical properties of cylindrical sandwich shells with axial or radial gradient cores,quasi-static and dynamic mechanical experiments were carried *** primary evaluations of mechanical properties include secant stiffness,natural frequency,Specific Energy Absorption(SEA),vibration acceleration level,and so *** results suggest that the vibration-attenuation performance of the sandwich shell is remarkable when the high-density core layer is at the end of the shell or abuts the inner *** axial gradient material has almost no influence on the vibration frequencies of the shell,whereas the vibration frequencies increase dramatically when the high-density core layer approaches the ***,compared to the conventional sandwich shells,the proposed functional grading cylindrical sandwich shell exhibits more potential in mass reduction,stiffness designing,and energy dissipation.

Impact response and energy absorption of metallic buffer with entangled wire mesh damper

An innovative metallic buffer consisting of series-connected hat-shaped entangled wire mesh damper(EWMD)and parallel springs are proposed in this work to enhance the reliability of engineering *** impact response and the energy dissipation mechanism of hat-shaped EWMD under different quasi-static compression deformations(2-7 mm)and impact heights(100-200 mm)are investigated using experimental and numerical *** results demonstrate distinct stages in the quasi-static mechanical characteristics of hat-shaped EWMD,including stiffness softening,negative stiffness,and stiffness *** loss factor gradually increases with increasing compression deformation before entering the stiffness hardening *** impact loads,the hat-shaped EWMD exhibits optimal impact energy absorption when it enters the negative stiffness stage(150 mm),resulting in the best impact isolation effect of metallic ***,the impact energy absorption significantly decreases when hat-shaped EWMD enters the stiffness hardening ***,quasi-static compression analysis after experiencing different impact loads reveals the disappearance of the negative stiffness ***,with increasing impact loads,the stiffness hardening point progressively shifts to an earlier stage.

Joint Sample Position Based Noise Filtering and Mean Shift Clustering for Imbalanced Classification Learning

The problem of imbalanced data classification learning has received much *** classification algorithms are susceptible to data skew to favor majority samples and ignore minority *** weighted minority oversampling technique(MWMOTE)is an effective approach to solve this problem,however,it may suffer from the shortcomings of inadequate noise filtering and synthesizing the same samples as the original minority *** this end,we propose an improved MWMOTE method named joint sample position based noise filtering and mean shift clustering(SPMSC)to solve these ***,in order to effectively eliminate the effect of noisy samples,SPMsC uses a new noise filtering mechanism to determine whether a minority sample is noisy or not based on its position and distribution relative to the majority *** that MWMOTE may generate duplicate samples,we then employ the mean shift algorithm to cluster minority samples to reduce synthetic replicate ***,data cleaning is performed on the processed data to further eliminate class *** on extensive benchmark datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of SPMsC compared with other sampling methods.
